Found this place on FB Marketplace and it doesn't disappoint. Located in Kapolei, you take last exit (Kalaeloa) from H-1 heading west. Great signage and it's a large-ish warehouse with parking in front for easy load-in. Industrial floor fans keep the place cool while you browse. Lots of used hotel furniture that are priced to sell! We were stunned to see so many pieces for living room, dining, bedroom, artwork, lamps, mirrors, lanai furniture, mattresses, area rugs, tables and decorative screens. Some do have marks or small scratches on them but these can be remedied with paint pens sold at Walmart, City Mill. They take cash or charge cards. Not sure about checks, Venmo or Apple Pay. All employees are very nice and helpful, a couple guys just walked over to help us load up, another young girl made sure we didn't forget our lamp and walked it over to us. The cherry on top was if you spend $100 or more you get to pick something from a designated row of large mirrors and artwork! We went back twice already and going another time since we don't own a truck. Hopefully the items we wanted will still be there. Mahalo to this business for repurposing these items so us local folk can enjoy without spending a fortune.

I've purchased several items at INspiration on Kapiolani but since I was in the area for other reasons I though why not give this locations peek since they do have lots of options for all types of furnishings. Obviously located in Kapolei Commons which is amazing as there's lots of free parking options you can find them all the way at the end after Target near the theater which is nice that we didn't have to fight to find a stall as it can get quite busy in that part of the shopping center. Walking into the spacious showcase floor we were greeted by a staff to a point that we didn't need any assistance at the moment as we started to look for a chair...yup just a simple single chair which sounds easier than done we came here knowing that they do have a great selection to choose from and found prices from $79 to $499 for a single chair lol! All the way in the back there is a section that they consider the "outlet" prices which looked the same as the rest of the prices so it didn't seem like it was a discount as one was a floor model that should be the obvious discounted price to offer but didn't find anything in that section. With that we did find a chair that fit all the boxes that we were looking for and found the sales staff to finalize the sale and as she did her thing we paid and was given the chair as I asked if they had it in stock to the answer she replied yes they did..yay! She walked over and gave us the chair from the floor...and said this was it? To her defense it was New Year Day and the warehouse was closed BUT didn't confirm that if the floor model would be okay and still sold it to us at full price...she thought that we didn't mind. I didn't appreciate the lack of communication but took it anyways paid and got our paperwork to which we walked out the door quite disappointed to which she chased us down later cause she need the tag that was attached to it lol, then came back again for the paperwork to confirm we got the item...not impressed with the professionalism and communication as it all was very basic yet done so poorly for just a chair thankfully it wasn't a whole set of furniture.

Sales associates are available to assist. 3. The warehouse staff was able to assemble the table for pick up. We were told to call ahead about 2 hours before pick so the staff had enough notice. Our sales associate, DJ, was most helpful, informative, and above all else, very patient. The table we had selected was on back order, and we were told we had to pay the full cost in advance to secure our order. BOTTOM LINE: Furniture shopping is tedious, but also fun at the same time.

When I finally decided on one, I took advantage of the July 4th sales to purchase that and a coffee table. The in-store service was fine, and I understood that any customization of my sectional would mean that I would wait 4-5 months to receive my furniture. What I was not aware of was the ridiculous delivery practices in place. Here's how it works: 1. When your order is paid in full (you pay 50% upon order, then 50% when it's ready), you are allowed to choose a delivery date only, no time slot, not even a morning or afternoon preference. 2. Two days before your delivery date, you are notified, of the time slot during which your delivery should arrive. Did I mention there's not preference given? 3. If you are unable to accept your delivery at the time slot given, you go back to choosing another date and return to step 2. I found the delivery procedure very frustrating. While I did finally receive my furniture delivery, and I love it, I think it took me a month, and three delivery requests to finally get my furniture delivered. I guess the problem was that I work full time and was not able to block off a whole day to wait for my furniture delivery. It was very frustrating. The delivery guys were very nice and efficient, but something needs to be done about their scheduling!! I'm glad I won't need to purchase any furniture in the foreseeable future.

We decided we were going to purchase it and the store was coming to a close but we felt rushed out while signing papers to complete the transaction. We were hoping to go over the paperwork as we did for our Slumberworld purchase, but he just asked for our payment told us delivery was on Monday. We just wished for the acknowledgment and the personable experience as we did with Gerry. But overall we are still grateful we found what we were looking for and are happy with our dresser selection.
