When I needed fuel, they delivered promptly. But for the past few years they came up with a minimum fuel charge per year that was never part of our contract nor was it something we agreed to. I finally replaced them as I am tired of fighting every year about that. I returned the tanks but they refused to pay me for the propane that was left in the tanks which was at 55% on 250 gals. I would be very careful dealing with them as they make up fees and force you to pay them instead of being honest and informing you as to what their fees are. For years, I never had an issue so it clearly was something done to force me to move to another provider that did not charge an annual fee. read more

These guys are terrific. Absolutely five star service! We are a small business and due to COVID we have been leaving doors open for safer air flow to customers. As a result we just ran out of gas on Saturday night. I called at 8AM Sunday morning. They got here at 9 AM with no emergency service delivery fee, AND installed a monitor at no charge that will give them a daily read out on the gas level in out tank:-). My mother has been using this company forever! She is elderly and receives HEAP and she just got screwed by this company! She needed fuel and asked for it to be delivered during the day so she wasn't charged an after hours fee of 225.00 and they didn't listen and delivered at 10pm and charged her account that fee...now she don't have enough fuel for her heat ! Couldn't agree more with the past review of this place. Evidently, 2 years and one month have made no difference what so ever in their customer service. I live in Walden NY, and when I first moved into this place I called Russo, as they are the company that the previous tenant used (so the tank was already here.) Requested that they fill the tank only half way (propane, 100 gallon tank [plenty for a household using it for hot water only]) and they obliged, after 10 minutes of solid convincing on my end; however, a little over 2 months later when I called to have the tank refilled (again, half way [50 gallons,] same as last time,) THIS time i was met with a very rude "we're not going ALL THE WAY to Walden, for only half a tank." Keeping in mind that 3 of my neighbors all use the same company, you'd figured they would have offered to AT LEAST fill it on a day when they were in the area, so it wouldn't be a wasted trip (a practice MANY fuel companies use,) but they didn't make any offers or even remotely try to work with me. Truth be told, if I could give this place zero stars, that would be much closer to my experience. Regardless, my experience ended with me stating that I would go ahead an call elsewhere, to which i received merely a sigh, and a hang up; not even a goodbye? Lol, so f'ing rude. So for anyone in the Hudson Valley reading this, DON"T BOTHER; simply call KIMLIN PROPANE in Gardiner NY for a much more pleasant (and easy!) experience. read more

I have been using Russo for several years now. When I call the company and I need something checked they're very quick to send somebody out. I have automatic delivery, at times I have used a little bit more. I will notify them and they are either out here that day or the next day. When I speak to the girls in the office or to any of the service people they have always been easy to work with. read more

Been a long term customer and this company is giving me a hard time about removing their tank off my property. It's heating season and I have no heat. The ladies in the office do not cooperate well and have charged me CC without consent. read more

Have to agree with the previous review. Purchased a furnace still under WARRANTY...last year problem with chimney leaking water into entire house ruining ceilings and floors on a house over 100 year old. This year when the furnace stopped working completely found a hole in the inner wall causing water flow into the furnace. Being under warranty decided to wait for replacement parts and repairs. Took over a month without any heat and still now 6 weeks later no hot water. Excuses such as wrong parts 3 times from supplier for the month of no heat & now I am just beside myself it is still not repaired. I would highly recommend any other provider in the area. read more

She calls her self a manager she SUCKS as a people person, got my BQ tank filled 2 weeks ago now it leaks, and I know for a fact she never spoke to the owner as she said she did and made her own mind up to not give me a refund on the propane on a tank I can not use. I have been trying to get information from Russo to run my new home off of propane and it has been EXHAUSTING. First when I called in they could answer one of my questions and said they had to email all the other information to be (basic stuff like pricing, what services they offered, etc.). Then when I got an email four days later, it only had the price per gallon in it, which I was already given over the phone!! THEN when I asked for the rest of the information again, they told me to call them. Obviously finding a different provider that ACTUALLY CARES about getting new business! Too bad, the new house uses about 3,000 gallons of propane a heating season. Thanks for nothing! read more
