Was told "well that's just how we make it" by the child working the register. This place is a black hole for accountability. If you want to sit around for 40 minutes being ignored while they screw up your food and refuse to fix it, this is the place for you. 40+ years in business and they can't even make a club sandwich. Pathetic.

I walked in and got greeted by people who actually seemed happy to be there, which caught me off guard in a good way. Got seated and served almost immediately. My waitress was on top of everything without hovering once. Ambiance was old school country diner. I really love those! Black coffee first, which for me is the real test of a breakfast place. It was excellent. Hot, bold, and clearly fresh, not something that had been sitting on a burner since five. I went with the Western omelet with hashbrowns and toast. The omelet was packed and cooked right, and the hashbrowns had that golden crunch you're hoping for and don't always get. You can tell they're not cutting corners on ingredients. Good food that early is one thing. Good food and a staff with actual energy at 7am is a different thing. I'll be back.

I finally pulled up on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch, and honestly, the sheer scale of this place is hilarious. The parking lot alone is a whole ecosystem, and the inside looks like it can comfortably seat half of Metro Atlanta with room to spare. I came with a serious appetite, so I went straight for the classic heavyweight: the Roast Turkey Entrée (all white meat). Now, when the server started listing out everything that came with it, I thought there was a glitch in the simulation. For starters, you get a soup and a salad. I went with the chicken noodle and a Caesar salad. The chicken noodle hit the spot--properly seasoned, warm, and comforting. The Caesar was solid too, crisp and fresh. But then the main plate arrived, and I'm pretty sure they harvested an entire farm for this one meal. Generous portion of white meat turkey, a mountain of mashed potatoes with gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce and a side of broccoli (gotta respect the greens). Every single item on that main plate was absolute perfection. Tender, savory, and cooked with actual respect for flavor profiles. My only real critique? The bread basket. Look, I don't know what happened there, but that roll was completely devoid of personality. Tasted like straight oxygen and flour. Unseasoned bread in 2026 is an absolute tragedy, but thankfully, the whipped butter spread saved the day and gave it a purpose in life. Between the massive portions and the endless menu options, this place is an absolute unit. You're definitely leaving with a take-home box the size of a carry-on suitcase and a strong urge to take a three-hour nap. Great energy, fast service, and legendary portions. Just bypass the plain bread and dive straight into the turkey.

On first impression coming in I felt like I went back in time to an old cafeteria for senior citizens, and it is kind of that way but it's open and airy with plenty of good booth seating. The music is depressing as it's all old mostly from the 70's stuff, which is ok but I don't like crying over my food usually! Bit of a joke there so don't get upset if you love it! The good news is the food is actually pretty good! Usually these types of restaurants actually do cater to the local elderly crowd and so sometimes the food is understandably bland but not so much this time. I was seated instantly (apparently seat yourself) and was greeted immediately by Kelci,, a great server with a very pleasant and beautiful smile and a very professional and efficient demeanor. I ordered the grilled catfish with mashed potatoes and green beans. The catfish was surprisingly good with a nice flavor (even though the filet was almost tiny, luckily I wasn't too hungry, it still tasted good and the tartar sauce is came with was perfect). The sides I had were mashed potato's (again, nice flavor but no gravy) and the green beans were pretty fresh even though probably from a can, and those were pretty bland. Funny thing is there were no bread options for the meal but it was lunchtime so maybe that's why? They also have a large selection of desserts which Kelci helped me pick through. I got a slice of German chocolate cake which was huge and delicious, I couldn't finish it. Also the tea is good old southern tea, I had the half and half because it's pretty sweet but that's the way it's supposed to be! Overall the place was very clean and smelled nice. There's ample parking outside and the location is convenient. I will probably come back when in the area but won't make a drive from where I live in Cartersville just to eat here. So overall I'm giving 5 stars for the excellent service (thank you Kelci), 4 stars for the food, 3 for the atmosphere (kick up the music to add in some modern rock or something!) and 5 stars for cleanliness, parking and location. Definitely recommend for locals and folks passing through.
