    2 egg breakfast $7.79
    Ken G.

Meh. It wasn't bad, but there is plenty of room for improvement. Eggs were over cooked and the toast was obviously prepared before the rest of the food and left to sit and get cold and somewhat soggy. Bacon was paper thin, but tasty. Grits were Luke warm, but not too bad. I doubt seriously that I will return to this location. For over $12 you can get better for less elsewhere.

We stopped in for a quick bite to eat. The place is clean and free of vape smokers-LOL. I ordered the Smoked Pulled Pork breakfast with sausage gravy. It was GREAT! It's clean and the staff is Friendly! Ms. Kaye is sweet and a very attentive waitress.

Zorba's pretty much stays hopping the majority of the time. Sometimes, you will find yourself waiting for a seat! Good, especially for a small town. Locally owned and operated, you're not only eating good food, you're supporting local business. I would highly recommend this for a casual night out with friends or a even a big event. In conclusion, great atmosphere, wonderful food, exceptional service---- Can it get any better in the food service industry?

Waitress took our drink orders a bit of a wait but ok.we already knew what we wanted when we sat down. She dropped them off did not ask if we were ready went to next table yapped with them for 5 min. But ok. Here is when things start going to far she took their drink orders then asked if they were ready to order. Then walked past us twice we had to call her over. When my husband called her out on it she said well they knew what they wanted. We told her so did we. So we ordered our pizza. A large Pepperoni and extra cheese with ham and peppers on just half. Well after an hour the table next to us had got their food eaten got three refils on their tea we stopped her and asked whereour food was. She said on the way came back 5 min later . Pizza cool but ok temp wise. She ordered us an extra lg pizza with pepparoni extra cheese ham and peppers . Instead of half ham and pepper when we brought it to her attention she said we did not say half. We kept it even though I "hate" peppers cause I was very hungry and he is diabetic with his sugar dropping. And in all this time she had not offered to fill our drinks. We finished our meal had to stop another waitress and ask for a box and bill finally got those paid and left no tip for her not somthing I do but tip is pay for service you don't give any you don't get any.The service given by Kaydance was some of the worst I have ever had. But we have been here several times and this has never had this problem. So don't judge on this trip alone.

The menu is full of classic, comfort style dishes that will make you feel at home. Or server was a true southern belle with all the charm and kindness you would expect. I had a burger and it was delicious. This thing was MASSIVE and cooked to a perfect medium well as I had requested. The fries were also pretty good. They could have used a bit more seasoning but there was salt on the table!

This is a Southern Restaurant in a southern town. So I opted for a Shepherd's Pie from the St Paddy's Day menu. Yeah, go figure. It was rather bland. When I make this dish, I use ample cream in the potatoes (Irish style) and make a thicker, more moist pie, with a good deal of tomato in it. This was a bland substitute. Far better the next day when I added in enough butter to make the potatoes shine. I will give props for using lamb on this. She had the salmon patties. Fairly simple, also rather bland. Mashed potatoes as well. Breading on the okra was fine. Staff? Very friendly waiter. Answered all the questions and even described the drinks. As this has a good craft beer selection, I opted for one I had not had before and she got a smokey old fashioned. The old fasthioned did not have the cherries or orange peel you would normally see, but was rather strong and did use a rye whiskey. I would not go there for the drink, but reasonably priced. The ambiance is great. Typical of Rome, GA establishments, you can feel the history. They also have a rooftop bar and a separate bar area, for those seeking out a drink or two. Summary: The experience was good, but the food was bland. If you like to heavily salt your food, this might not be as big of a deal. On the whole, 3 stars, for average. Compared to other places in Rome, some of which are really bad, you would prefer this to many places. Nothing really bad to say, but nothing really good. Just average.

It even has a drive thru. My personal favorites are the gyro, the party melt, and perogies romano, but everything I've had here is consistently good. Some things never change, the portions are massive and the service is quick, friendly, and efficient. I ordered a club sandwich, my wife ordered a tomato with chicken salad, and our son ordered an egg sandwich. We ordered an appetizer of onion rings, which of course was a mistake due to the amount of food in our order. The onion rings came out first. Large order with ranch dressing. Crispy and hot. They were very good. Again, I understand that is really doesn't take much to prepare a club sandwich but it was very good and the bacon was crisp and smoky. My wife and son really enjoyed their meals and spoke of how delicious they were. Again, massive portions. Friday morning our son chose the Marietta Diner again and we had breakfast. I ordered the deluxe pancake breakfast with home fries. My wife ordered Eggs Benedict, and our son ordered pancakes and bacon. Unlike many places, these pancakes don't rely upon syrup or toppings for their only taste. they are simply good. Bacon was cooked perfectly for my taste. The home fries were delicious and a massive portion. Again, I could not finish everything. Our son agreed with me on the taste of the pancakes. My wife loved the Eggs Benedict with the only complaint, one egg was cooked perfectly runny and the other overcooked. Service was fast and efficient again. If you are in the area and looking for quality food, good service, and a huge variety to satisfy anyone in your group, this is the place to go.

On first impression coming in I felt like I went back in time to an old cafeteria for senior citizens, and it is kind of that way but it's open and airy with plenty of good booth seating. The music is depressing as it's all old mostly from the 70's stuff, which is ok but I don't like crying over my food usually! Bit of a joke there so don't get upset if you love it! The good news is the food is actually pretty good! Usually these types of restaurants actually do cater to the local elderly crowd and so sometimes the food is understandably bland but not so much this time. I was seated instantly (apparently seat yourself) and was greeted immediately by Kelci,, a great server with a very pleasant and beautiful smile and a very professional and efficient demeanor. I ordered the grilled catfish with mashed potatoes and green beans. The catfish was surprisingly good with a nice flavor (even though the filet was almost tiny, luckily I wasn't too hungry, it still tasted good and the tartar sauce is came with was perfect). The sides I had were mashed potato's (again, nice flavor but no gravy) and the green beans were pretty fresh even though probably from a can, and those were pretty bland. Funny thing is there were no bread options for the meal but it was lunchtime so maybe that's why? They also have a large selection of desserts which Kelci helped me pick through. I got a slice of German chocolate cake which was huge and delicious, I couldn't finish it. Also the tea is good old southern tea, I had the half and half because it's pretty sweet but that's the way it's supposed to be! Overall the place was very clean and smelled nice. There's ample parking outside and the location is convenient. I will probably come back when in the area but won't make a drive from where I live in Cartersville just to eat here. So overall I'm giving 5 stars for the excellent service (thank you Kelci), 4 stars for the food, 3 for the atmosphere (kick up the music to add in some modern rock or something!) and 5 stars for cleanliness, parking and location. Definitely recommend for locals and folks passing through.
