I had two instructors while at Beep Beep. The first one was very nice, and very encouraging. He was enthusiastic about the student's (me) ability to learn, but at the same time was a calm presence in the car. I learned how to drive on city streets, which allowed me to learn how to recover from minor mistakes. The other instructor I had was also good and pointed out a few bad habits I had picked up in between my last lesson and the road test. The school was able to schedule several lessons for me when I first started out. The five hour class was interested, and offered frequently so there should be a time that fits your schedule. The best thing by far is road test insurance. The first time I took the test, I knew I was not ready but I wanted to see what the road test was like, and see what I needed to improve. Before the road test I got the insurance. It is 49 dollars, and it covers up to 100 dollars for each road test you take with the school until you pass. If you take regular road tests, each road test is free. (This does not count the 10 dollar fee that you need to pay to DMV if you need to take a road test a 3rd, 5th, etc time.) If you choose to take a rush road test, which can cost over 200 dollars, you will get a 100 dollar discount from the cost of the school. I highly recommend the insurance. My issues with the school. I was a pessimistic 17 year old in a rush to get my license since I absolutely dreaded public transportation. In October, I took Drivers Ed at Queensborough Community College and was so superb that my driving instructor recommended that I schedule my road test early. So, I went to my local driving school and got a package which had a 5 Hour Prelicensing Class, 5 driving lessons, and a car for the road test. They scheduled my road test and told me that it would be in the middle of February. Me being impatient, I knew I couldn't wait that long so I called Beep Beep Auto School and got their Platinum Rush Road Test which is the highest tier out of their packages. I registered explicitly telling them I wanted a road test at the end of the month in the morning. After I registered around the 2nd week of January, I got a text the next day saying my test had been scheduled on the last Friday of the month. Before I paid, I checked the Road Test Scheduling website and it was indeed scheduled. I paid the fee of $109 and quickly called my driving school to save a car for me. If you get the platinum package, there's no guarentee that you may get a car. I passed the test with 15 points off due to the rude examiner almost tricking me into making a wide turn. These guys are amazing! I am from the UK and moved here about a year ago to Westchester New York where you NEED a car! Having passed my test when I was 17 back home, I was devestated to find out there were no options to just switch over your license, especially when driving here is 100 times easier than back home!! I just needed to get everything done and went through the whole thing as if I were a 16 year old american kid, until it came to actually booking a road test. My only options were to wait over 2-3 months for a road test from the DMV or give these guys a go, and I opted for the latter. They really do everything they say, so perfectly and communicated with me via text after my initial call (with the nicest lady EVER!) which was really cool. I felt I could contact them the same way I contact all of my friends especially when you are rushing around all day. The first appointment they found me I unfortunately could not do as I had to drive my friend to the airport on that day, (I have been paying INSANE insurance. $800 a month because I dont have a US license yet) and they found me another test just a week later which I am now scheduled in for! Yes, this is legit. I was hopeless trying to look for an earlier schedule for a road test. i kept trying and trying but the earliest schedule that i could get is on the first week of May, which was already two months. i googled and i saw their website accidentally, at first i didn't believe them cause i had tried getting a rush road test from other driving school claiming that they could give me an appointment within 2 weeks, of course i paid them, but it didn't happen as what they promised me. Okay, back to our topic, which is the main reason why i am writing a review. i filled out their form, and received a text message from them. in less than 5 days, they got me a schedule. let's say i ordered on Monday, Tuesday(no work cause of the snowstorm) and on the very morning of Wednesday they got a me schedule for a road test in Laurelton, Queens. i checked it right away in the DMV online scheduler and it is true. As promised, they found me a test within 10 days!!! Not only that, I requested particular days making the search even more specific. No way did I think they'd be able to find me a test with those requirements, but guess what? They did, and I am so grateful to them for helping me. My instructor picked me up on time and was sooo friendly, giving me great advice and encouragement. I'm so sorry I forgot his name, however I'm sure that all of the instructors are very nice. I booked the package that included the rush road test, pickup, and car for road test. I also got practice time before my test which was a great help in relaxing my nerves. I live in Queens, but I wish I would have went to them for driving lessons, they are just that good. I feel the 15-20 minutes I had with my instructor from Rush Road Test was way better than all the lessons I had elsewhere, combined! The best thing about it is they found a site in my borough about 15 minutes away from me. Do yourself a HUGE favor and give them a try. Oh my god! whoever are these guys in Rush Road Test NY, I am totally, absolutely and stunningly awestruck!!!!!! I failed my actual test that i awaited for long time and i could not believe next available tests were at lease 2.5 months away. I got fired from job for being absent on that day i took test... I was totally disappointed in myself. Alas! there was something called Rush Road Test NY. firstly i was reluctant to believe it, but i gave a try and it was awesome. I filled a form on their website and submitted. after 30 minutes i received a text saying a test available next Thursday. I replied ok and received another text after 30 minutes saying that i should check my Appointment confirmation on DMV website before i make payment. I could not believe how fast they were. After passing my 5 hour class I was looking for a school that can help me to book a rush test as well as provide car. Among different schools Beep Beep is having the best price per value, I was also happy for additional discount as I booked two tests and car for the test for me and my wife. Prior to test my wife took 1 hour driving class the day before to polish what she have learned (she already knew how to drive) as well as to get some tips from real life experience. Our driver David, was is very calm and easy person, in one hour he taught more things then we've learned during weeks of preparation. Our rush exam was scheduled less then 10 days after we called a school, before exam we had a little brush up driving and as a result - we both passed! I loved Beep Beep! After having narrowly failed my first road test on Nov 24, they helped me get a rush road test within two weeks (Dec 4), which was immensely helpful. I also took a 45 min class a few days before the test. My instructor was calm, walked me through a typical road test loop multiple times, and made me feel confident about my skills. I particularly appreciated that he let me drive just like on a road test and pointed out mistakes only after I made them (it also helped that I wasn't doing anything crazy wrong!) - previous instructors preempted and prevented my mistakes as I drove, which didn't let me use my judgment in tight situations. Road test was a breeze, especially with the 15 minute lesson you get before the test in the same area. I passed easily. Failed my road test and needed another date asap so I chose this place. I got platinum $109 plan with about $49 insurance that was totally worth it. The platinum package covers a date within 5 business days while the insurance covers as many expedited tests as you need to pass free of charge. I get really nervous during tests so I needed to take the test 4 times before passing. Each time Rush Road Test was successful in getting me a date within 10 business days. I had three test dates lined up with them within two weeks. They communicate mostly through texts, and I must admit that that they have some of the most amazing people working there. They were incredibly nice over text and managed to get me a date within 3 days (10 business day frame) after failing my second test even though they were not obligated to. I'm very pleased with their service, professional helpful people. I missed my driving road test when I was 20 which I regret the most. Now after 4 years living in NYC without a drivers licence is tough. I hate waiting for the subway train when I commute every hour, every day. They deliver as promised!! Tried to schedule my road test on my own and the earliest I could get was in mid-November and was in upstate NY, which was less than ideal because I live in Queens. They got me scheduled within two weeks in the Jamaica location! I had to look for another company that could provide me with a car and instructor on the day of the road test though, but that was because I didn't tell them ahead of time that I needed a car for the road test. Nonetheless, it was a pleasure doing business with them! Also, I like that they are not the type of people that would bombard you with calls just to secure your business with them. This place is the greatest ! I failed my road test and couldn't find an appointment any less than 6 weeks away. I wanted to just retake my test and get it over with so I was excited when I found the rush road test website. I gave them a call, they asked for my permit number, name and phone number. They called me back within hours and had a road test booked for me in my requested location. (the test was scheduled for ONE week away) I checked the DMV website to confirm that the appointment was actually booked and after confirming I then provided payment. These folks are just lovely. I live in Fort Green and it was well worth the 20 min trip on the F train. Professional and painless The 5 hour certification class was done in a snap. And actually I did learn some stuff! Its a great reminder since I had not taken that since I was 16. Texting and driving and alcohol are things we all could use a little gravitas on these days. I am also using them for the expedited driving test as well. The DMV said I would likely NOT get a drivers test THIS SUMMER....WHAT? Rush Road Test NY's road test deal (the one that schedules within 2 weeks) may not seem to be legit because its a deal too good to be true, but it did work! I failed my road test the first time I took it, because I was just so nervous. However, I really needed to get my license to get a parking pass for school. I chose Rush Road Test's road test scheduling system to get my license within the next two weeks. They messaged me a few days later and scheduled my road test, exactly one week after my first road test! I passed! This Service is Totally Awesome, and Worth the 109 Dollars. I had already taken the 5hr class, and had practice behind the wheel and needed a speedy Road test date to obtain my Driver's license. I tried on my own and thru the School where I took the 5hr class,and couldn't do better than 8 weeks.
