The receptionist is very friendly and has such a positive attitude. The dental assistant is very reassuring and kind. I was so nervous and anxious about my emergency extraction and she helped calm me down. Dr. Sater promised he would completely numb around my tooth so that all I would feel was pressure and no pain. He was right! He kept his promise! Dr. Sater is thorough especially pre and post procedure with explaining the procedure and what to expect. He never rushed, he took his time, and made sure I was comfortable and understood everything. He cares about his patients and even gave his cell number for any emergencies or problems post procedure. I went here because some one recommended it. They took pictures of my teeth and showed them to me. It did not look like my teeth as the teeth in the pictures were covered in a yellow plaque. They then tried to tell me I have multiple cavities and need a deep cleaning. I keep up with my dental hygiene and floss so this is not correct. The office refused to clean my teeth unless I agreed to this deep cleaning and fillings which is $1600.00+. Since moving to TX I have seen this practice of refusing services of any kind unless I agree to the entire package. I paid the office visit of 59.00 then was told by the receptionist (who was very annoyed I was not staying) she would e mail to me my X-rays; she never did. I found this whole experience to be nothing more than a theatrical production in an attempt to part me from my money. The next dentist I went to showed me with a dental mirror and X-rays, that I have none of those problems. Then they proceeded to clean my teeth. read more

I am going to start by saying that I have dental trauma from my early childhood. I am terrified of dentists...or I was! Rush creek is awesome! They take care of me, ease my anxiety and make me feel like a person and not a paycheck. They went through my issues, laid out a plan, helped me figure out how to pay for it and personally check up on me after every visit. If you're looking for an honest business, this is NOT the place to go. Come here if you're looking to get a shake down of your wallet and inappropriate dental care. My husband and I made appointments with this dentist because we are new to TX. It was an in-network provider for our insurance and the online reviews seemed decent. We've both had routine dental care our entire lives and have healthy teeth. My husband was the first to have his appointment. They told him he had 6 cavities and significant periodontal disease - none of which he had 4 months ago at his last check up before we moved. Sure could you develop cavities in that time frame - very possible, but significant periodontal disease to develop in a 4 month time frame? Absolutely not even possible. This really put up a red flag for my husband. The dentist examined him and gave a recommended treatment plan with approx $1000 in work. They would not provide him a routine cleaning unless he agreed to the above work. He left the office without having anything done because the whole situation didn't seem right. I called and immediately canceled my appointment scheduled for the next day. We signed a release to obtain copies of his x-rays and records from Rush Creek. I then sent these items to be reviewed by our prior dentist, my uncle (a dentist of 40 years) and our new dentist. Surprise, surprise, none of the problems that this dentist at Rush Creek reported were evident on x-ray. Additionally, the "findings" of Rush Creek were not evident or present when my husband was examined in person by our new dentist. read more

Let me first apologize for the length of this review, but please read through if you're considering this office. I found this office through Yelp, and after reading several great reviews, decided to make an appointment. I will preface my review by saying that I have not been to a dentist in a year. I have decent oral hygiene (I don't floss every day, but I brush thoroughly and floss on occasion.) I have not had a cavity in about 7-8 years. I arrived at the office and was initially impressed. The waiting room was comfortable and the staff seemed friendly and helpful. I went through the usual- x-rays, etc. before I got in the chair. There are monitors in every room- on the wall and above the chair to watch while they are working on your teeth. The hygienist explained everything she was going to do which was nice and proceeded to do an oral cancer screening, take pictures of all of the "problem areas" in my teeth, and poke around all my gums to take measurements. I asked the hygienist how my teeth were looking, and she said that there were a couple of spots that were troubling, but "don't worry, the doctor is very conservative in his treatment." A minute later, the doctor came in. He looked at the x-rays, got the information from the hygienist, and glanced in my mouth. He proceeded to lecture me about flossing. He told me how bad my teeth were and that I needed a "deep clean" to get rid of all the plaque. He told me once all my cavities were filled, I would have to come in every couple months to maintain them. I finally asked how many cavities I had. The answer? 11. ELEVEN?! They put me in a little office so they could tell me about my treatment plan, which included 5 visits costing me almost $1500 AFTER insurance. They would not clean my teeth that day because I had to get a "deep clean". I almost scheduled my appointments then, but quickly came to my senses and left. I got a referral for another dentist, this time from my mom and called them to ask if they could see me for a second opinion. I went there two weeks later and had a completely different experience. That dentist told me that I have great teeth. The hygienist was blown away at the fact that I was told I needed a "deep clean" because I had very little plaque. (She told me this while actually cleaning my teeth). The best part? I only actually have 2 cavities. So if you do actually go to this office, please be wary. read more

To give a dentist 5 stars may seem a bit concerning , especially since I do not know one person that actually enjoys going to sit in "the chair". Dr. Satar and his staff, however, make the dreaded task as relaxing and enjoyable as they can. Unfortunately I have had to sit through a couple of deep cleanings and 6! cavity fills (dang sweet tooth), but I will be back....hopefully only for cleanings, lol. The care, and patience, the team provides makes the difference. I am a baby with pain and they know just how to get the job done without over doing the meds. I have been fortunate to have had Jose as a part of the majority of my appointments. He has a great bed side manner which, at a dentist, can truly make or break the visit. Rush Creek Dentistry was a joke i went in for my first appointment.I was initially feeling good about the situation the waiting room was clean and looked nice and decor was very pleasing once i went back i did the normal x rays and all that good stuff then the Dr. came in and he told me i needed a ton of fillings a Root Canal and a crown the cost was through the roof(5000$$$). The Hygienist proceeded to clean my teeth she did do a good job i will give them that at the end of my appointment I was led into a tiny room where they shut the door and basically drilled me trying to get me to pay for my whole dental treatment at once when i told them i couldn't afford it they told me well here apply for these credit lines when i told them i didn't have good credit they proceeded to try to get me to call family members on the phone right then to cosign i was in that room for almost an hour it was the craziest experience i had ever had. I ended up leaving and not scheduling i went for a second opinion at a Dentist Right down the road the very next day and was told i had not one cavity this place is money hungry i later found out from the person i was referred by that they are gone one whole week a month to MGE Training if you are unfamiliar with what this is look it up its straight Scientology training the assistant that told her all this also told her they make there employees go against there will and put them through crazy training to get people to pay for services they do not need both me and the friend that i was referred by are no longer patients and wouldn't recommend this place to our worst enemies BEWARE OF THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!! I only hope those poor employees get out of there i do hear there is a bad turn over rate and for good reason!!!!! Also Once you leave the practice they harass you in one week i got three phone calls an email and a letter in the mail this happens on almost a weekly basis i have had to block there number i am posting this Anonymously so i don't get harassed more SERIOUSLY BEWARE!! read more

Amazing staff and service. Was a bit of a drive from Fort Worth, but totally worth it!! I heard of Dr Sater through a friend who has been seeing him for years and has always said great things. He was very professional and knowledgeable regarding some increased sensitivity i had been experiencing for a few months. Turns out, I'm a pretty bad grinder at night and managed to wear down a large enough layer of my teeth that I am now in a night guard! I have seen him a few times since, for regular check ups and cleanings and if I could give a higher rating than 5 stars I would!! At my last visit, I mentioned a concern I had regarding some of my front teeth being pushed out a bit; without even looking at my chart, he named off #8 and #14 (tooth numbers) as if he already knew what I was going to say. He told me that he studied my chart (and that he can't help but do that to everyone) and he in fact DID already know what I was going to say!! I don't know about you, but I haven't had many doctors that actually remember my name much less the facts regarding the alignment of my teeth! Being at a dentist office isn't usually a very exciting experience to yelp about... but when you find someone that makes you feel comfortable and safe digging inside your mouth... and like they genuinely care... they immediately become noteworthy on yelp. Rush Creek Dentistry provided a professional and comfortable experience that eliminated my fear of the dentist. I have had experiences in other offices that involved unidentified pain during a procedure, a distracted clinician, and disjointed care; however, I did not have any of the listed at Rush Creek. The waiting room was a pleasant, open space with many happy distractions (ie. magazines, wifi); the supporting staff was kind and professional; the text-reminder system was very convenient--everything outside of the procedure itself made me feel at ease. In addition, being 7 months pregnant, I required some exceptional accommodations, and the staff provided seamless coordination of care with other clinicians. Dr. Sater was wonderful from beginning to end. He told me what to expect before, during, and after the procedure; moments of potential discomfort were verbalized to me before the fact; and I felt that he was very thorough and provided me with superior quality of care.
