Alexia was our dental hygienist and she was wonderful! She was personable, patient and easy to talk to as she guided my son through X-rays and a cleaning. When we saw Evetts she was quick and efficient with her time, but remained nice. Once the appointment was over, we checked out and scheduled easily. They had a toy dispenser that was being filled when we checked out,, and they ended up giving my son two toys for patiently waiting. He was raving about them for the next week. She was rude, condescending, and actually laughed while I was expressing concerns about my child being injured. At no point did she apologize or show any empathy whatsoever. Instead, she acted like I was overreacting for being upset that my child was hurt during a dental procedure. Accidents may happen, but how a business responds says everything. This office chose to be dismissive, disrespectful, and unprofessional instead of taking accountability and treating a concerned parent with basic decency. I will never return here and would strongly recommend other parents think twice before trusting this office with their children.

I made sure to make it to the clinic as soon as I could, and was at the reception at 4:08. There was no one at the front desk, and I waited around 9-10 minutes before the person showed up. She told me that they had responded to my text telling me that I will to reschedule. I wasn't going to check my text while driving. She then told me, "we ask to reschedule if you are more than 10 minutes late". I told her, I wasn't, its just that there was no one at the front desk and had to wait a while (she was away during that time). She looked around and told me: "I can reschedule you to tomorrow morning", as if parents have all the free time in the world. Normally, if they didn't make us wait 15+ minutes in the lobby after check-in, this would be at least reasonable. And her attitude came across as unwelcoming and disrespectful. I told her, if it can't be done today, I will simply cancel, and I walked out. I will be taking my daughter to another, better rated, dentist, and I am done with iKids.

There's a small play area in the waiting room, along with a TV set to children's shows. Patients will go to the back without their parents starting at 3yo, which works out a lot better than I thought it would. There is definitely a difference between a pediatric dental staff and the staff at my adult dentist, where kids are more of an afterthought. You can expect hygienists and dentists to be equal parts bubbly and soothing, as needed for your child. I usually forego the x-rays for my kiddo so her appointments run less than 30 minutes. She's come out with a big, clean smile and a bag of goodies (dental supplies and a small gift) three out of the three times she's visited the Drs. Hyde, Miller, and Associates.
