I've been going to Great Oak Dental for about 2 years now, and it has been an amazing experience. I am very pleased with the services I've received. I needed quite a bit of dental work done, and I now have a very pleasing smile. My Grandma loves them, and feels blessed to have met such caring people. Thank you Great Oak Staff.

And Speaking of insurance, be very careful as to the questions you ask. Such as, "are you in the Cigna network? " That doesn't mean " are you with a PPO where U can see any doctor U want & it will pay Something!!" Duh? I believe Great Oaks Dental is Very High Priced & Not that Great at Decision making with U, where the patient's Best Interest is First & Foremost. I saw No Heart with this Dentist & her 2 Locations in Arlington. I found a very Narcissistic environment & very high prices.. I paid $5,000+ for One Front Tooth Implant & she never cleaned or checked my other teeth for the 9 months in between healing. Then, After I mention this to her she did check them and asked me if I wanted to know where my next problem was going to be? It was for the other front tooth that also was decayed. Oh Brother!! I paid less than $1400Cash at DDS Denture & Implant for the other front tooth & was as treated like a Queen.. I could have gone to Africa, shot an Elephant, brought back his Ivory Tusk & Had thousands of Faux Teeth made from it for the price some of these Dentists are charging for one tooth. It's gotten way out of hand.

I went in for the first time for my cleaning. Confirmed with the front office before my visit that I'm eligible for my service and that everything would be covered. Get to appointment day and I'm transparent about my dental history to my hygienist and the dentist and then went home with no out of pocket costs. The issue came a few months later when they mailed me a bill for X-rays because it wasn't covered by insurance. First of all, I've worked with health insurance before and you're able to see patient's eligibility before their visit and let them know what service is going to be covered and what's not. If they had told me to begin with that X-rays weren't covered before my visit, when I got to the office, when I sat down in the chair, etc I wouldn't have been as livid and simply reschedule. Instead they didn't and just play pretend that they didn't know I wasn't eligible for X-rays. What kind of transparency is that for a doctor's office? And then in dealing w this issue I've had to call them multiple times because they kept needing to escalate the problem to a person that's higher in the chain of command and promising to give me a call back and failing to do so EVERY time. They're only opened on weekdays so I'm having to track them down during my work hours, which is absolutely ridiculous. I get it the office is busy, but failing to return a phone call on an ongoing problem WEEKS later is terrible patient relationship management practices. If you've been looking for an honest dental practice and willing to drive far for it, I highly recommend Couture Dentistry. I've went there recently and the doctor was incredibly honest and transparent up front about pricing since I now have trust issues from this place. I got the bill 10/27 and I'm still dealing with this issue to date. Such a shame because the dentist seems like a nice guy but the way this office operates, specifically front desk and the billing team is going to cost him in patient retention.

We're trying to save you from the horrible experience and service we have received. They make you pay for services before any treatment is done, rushing through the process to try and make it seem like everything is a dental emergency. I paid a very high amount to have some of my teeth repaired and now I apparently owe a large amount again because of insurance changes. The hold music on their phones saying "peace of mind promise" about pricing is ironic and a huge lie. When you have me pay for services, that balance should be closed when it's paid. Be clear about what insurance will cover, and don't randomly change it after a new year has started. Nothing about this organization gives me peace of mind. I will never return to this organization ever in my life. To the business manger that sees this and wants to say the same thing that is on all of the other negative reviews, be a real manager and reach out to the frustrated customers yourself. I'm not calling your useless customer service line that will just babble on and on. Your phones record conversations and it shouldn't be that hard for you to track down and figure out who is having an issue.
