Warning: Unethical and Deceptive Practices…read more I strongly urge anyone considering this dental office to think twice before making an appointment. This practice engages in high-pressure sales tactics and appears far more interested in profit than in patient care. I deeply regret not reading the reviews beforehand -- many others have had similar experiences, and I now understand why. Both my adult son and I were targeted with what I can only describe as scare tactics. Despite my son's clean bill of health from a reputable dentist just six months prior, he was told he had serious gum disease and urgently needed multiple expensive procedures -- including deep cleanings, laser treatments, and diagnostic tests -- none of which were previously deemed necessary. He left confused, alarmed, and out of pocket for one of the deep cleanings that they managed to convince him he needed. Wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt, I returned myself. The exact same playbook was used on me: dire warnings about the condition of my gums, an overwhelming list of treatments, and a price tag in the thousands even with insurance. I declined all upsells and requested a standard cleaning -- which was then performed carelessly and in haste. Several teeth were missed entirely during both the cleaning and polishing. It was clear that because I refused the costly add-ons, they no longer valued my time or care. I told the dentist that I was very disappointed and she said she would continue to work on me. I allowed her to work a few minutes longer but it was still evident I was not receiving even a moderately thorough cleaning. I have never in my life had a dental cleaning that was done so quickly and haphazardly. This kind of behavior is not only unprofessional -- it's unethical. Patients deserve honest evaluations and transparent care, not manipulative sales strategies. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE) and hope others do the same. Please protect your health and your wallet -- stay away from this practice.

I live in Alaska now but make frequent trips to Texas and make sure that I see Dr Natalie when I'm there. Her prices are reasonable. I broke a crowned tooth shortly before a scheduled trip to Texas. The dentist I saw in Anchorage wanted twice what Dr Natalie said she would charge. Luckily, I wasn't in pain and could wait until I was in Texas to get it fixed! Seeing the dentist during covid is really nerve racking, but her staff is well masked and I trust their professionalism to sanitize between patients. I made a new patient…read moreappointment online to go in for a general assessment and consult about having my temporary bridge replaced with the permanent one. My previous dentist no longer takes my insurance so that is why I was changing offices. Upon check in the receptionist was not that friendly and was not even interested in the fact that I had a secondary dental insurance. Yes I know my appointment was on a Saturday and most insurances are closed, but thought she could have it to follow up on the next business day. Once the assistant took me back he seemed like he had no idea why I was there. Apparently they thought I was just coming for a second opinion for the bridge. Got that straight or so I thought. We then proceeded to go do X-rays and he kept going out of the room. Then the front desk person came back asking me questions as to why I was there. She again said the online appointment said for second opinion. Finally was seen by the dentist who seemed very friendly and helpful. He gave me his assessment of how we would proceed, but would need to speak with the lab to clarify the best option for me. Then upon checking out the front desk person stated they would need to contact my insurance the following Monday, which was Memorial Day and I knew insurance would be closed. So I left and was told the office would contact me about my further treatment once they spoke with my insurance (they needed to see if this would be considered new or if I needed prior authorization since another dentist had started the bridge work). I knew I would wait a few days to give them time to call my insurance. I waited until later that week and tried to call the office to see what they found out from my insurance. I did not reach a person as the message said they were all busy, but would return my call. We are now at June 10th and I still have NOT heard one word from them. I guess they do not need my business so I will seek treatment elsewhere. I felt like they thought I was bothering them by being there. Do not go there if you want to be treated as a person. Once again the dentist was nice, but the staff lacked any compassion. I would not go here unless this was the only place in the world to go to. I work as a receptionist myself and I try very hard to make each patient feel welcome and appreciated.

After about 15 minutes, someone came out and then quoted me an astronomical amount for a crown. I asked why with insurance covering, and they just kept shrugging and saying the person that called on it wasn't there. They had no clue how the price was that high or who to call and check on it. Then said they could recall the insurance and check, but it'll be another 3 weeks?! I said I couldn't wait that long with a temporary on my tooth, and they just shrugged again. Looks like the search continues to find a dental practice that knows what they are doing and trains their staff to understand how insurance works.
