If you live in the Phoenix area and you're looking for an affordable, high quality pre-owned vehicle, I recommend checking out Dunlap Auto Sales. As another recent review noted, it is a small local lot -- an easily overlooked gem, but one well worth 5 stars in my book.

I'm currently in the process of buying my 4th vehicle from Bob @ GCAT…read more I keep returning because they are honest, fair prices and they really do have "Great Cars and Trucks." It began back in 2017-2018 when I saw exactly the truck I wanted on the Internet. I'm a mechanic so I knew what I was looking at. The price was fair, so I bought it. (Still driving it daily) Other than gas, tires & oil changes, it hasn't skipped a beat. I work it pretty hard too carrying a ton of hay each week. My wife had been wanting a Dodge Challenger. So back in late 2019, early 2020, Bob had a nice one at a very good price. We made a deal and they even delivered it to my house! In 2020 we moved a couple hundred miles away. The roads here are horrible in the winter and my wife is destroying that beautiful car... so I talked her into a Jeep Wrangler. Bob had several. She picked out the color she wanted & again, it was delivered! They even serviced it and put new tires all the way around AFTER we bought it. I didn't ask for that. After seeing it in person & driving it, I was so impressed that I wanted one for myself! Days later, I called Bob on the phone & we made a deal on a second one. It will be here late next week. Like all the others, I expect it will be better than described. To be honest I don't need the 2nd Jeep. I just want it because it's perfect and I can't pass up a great deal. I can't remember the last time I bought something for myself so I'm overdue. I'm sure I'll enjoy it for many years. Bob might very well be the only honest used car dealer in existence. Imagine buying used cars over the phone, without seeing them first in person, knowing you got a great deal just because you trust the man you are dealing with. It truly is a good feeling. Bob, if you see this, Thank You! Your honesty / integrity is everything!

My niece and I saw a posting for a vehicle on their lot they had for almost a month with a price drop as well listed and the next day when. We went to look at it the rep informed us the price which had gone up with no rhyme or reason since clearly it had no traction for a month until we got there. Luckily we had screenshots of the price. We also had a bad experience with reps colonizing my nieces name. Her name is Natalia not hard to say in English yet they kept changing it to Natalie which led to having to change paperwork and they still ended up colonizing her email.

Holy. Cow. SCAMMERS to the max. I've purchased 3 vehicles…read morenow and co-signer on another in the last 20 years. all APR was included in balance for the duration of car loan. When checking credit report and payment history, I noticed my balance only went down by $107 on a $342 payment. Called the lender to figure out wtf. The remaining $235 went to interest!?!?!? Because the down payment did not go to the lender. The dealership kept it and for a warranty package that doesn't even include what they promised It did. The list price for the vehicle I purchased was $16,111. I put down $4500. As of getting off the phone with the lender now she said the total price will be $28,775 to them. Add the down payment and that is $33,275. I am paying over 100% again the list price. TOTAL scam. We made very clear to Mr. Philippe that we are a low-income family. I couldn't possibly feel more screwed over. They know you can't spend hours at the dealership or calling a lawyer to read everything. They are the epitome of every stereotype you hear about car lots and salesmen. They knew we were desperate.

One for me and one for him and we weren't sure if we would find anyone to work with us and our situation. But the wonderful people here (Joe, David and Mandy) are beyond wonderful. They looked past our problems and saw we just needed a break. And we ended up with an amazing fully loaded Nissan Leaf and a fantastic Prius. These cars fit what we needed perfectly and they made the payments fit our budget. I'm so happy. I recommend them to anyone. Their inventory online isn't updated daily so stopping by in person is best. They have a lot to choose from. Thank you guys - I appreciate u all so much. We love our cars and it's such a relief. Update- cars still running strong :) still happy Update- ok so buying a used car u may have a hiccup down the road with it. Right? Well we had that with my husbands Nissan Leaf that we purchased from here. (I had this car checked out by a Nissan tech right after I bought it because I was nervous buying an electric car and was told it was in perfect condition, so no I was not sold a lemon lol, and it was a tiny car problem that occurred) but anyway, I'm an unemployed student and we have a family so this was a stressful unexpected expense - and so I called the dealership and they happily helped me out. I literally love this place. It's run by real people, who understand life is hard sometimes and actually care. Thank you!

BEWARE NEVER BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!!…read more I was looking for a used vehicle for my daughter and first eyebrow raise was a $8,000 car being sold for a total of $18,000 with financing for 4 years. Crazy APR for an old beat up 100,000 mile Nissan. I lifted the hood to find the battery corroded from water damage, very dirty under the hood overall, and not to mention the breaks were very squeaky plus low-tire pressure light came on during the test drive. Another thing I noticed while getting information down in the office was there were two separate people coming in to complain about the vehicle they bought having mechanical issues. I brought this up to the sales associate and he stated they have a 30-day warranty on all vehicles. Only 30 days?!? When the usual warranty should be 6-months to even a couple years. Very fishy auto company, only recommend to buy if you want to do charity work and end up with a vehicle that'll last one trip to a corner store before blowing up on you.
