February 2026 Came…read morehere on a Tuesday night at 7 o'clock. There were only two other tables in the entire restaurant with people seated at them. Asked for a drink specials and they said that they had a five dollar margarita. Asked about beer specials and they had none. So I ordered a Modelo draft. Apparently they only have 22 or 28 ounces. So it's a large cold draft. They immediately brought us chips and salsa. The chips were thick and crunchy and the taste was good. The salsa is served with a carafe of salsa and they bring you bowls for each of you to pour the salsa in to. The first time we were brought chips to the table, they were cold. The second time they were warm . And they tasted so much better. If you get cold chips, be sure to send them back and ask for hot ones. Service is quick and efficient. There are gray tiles for floors, booths with vinyl seating, and many tables with cushioned vinyl chairs. My only concern about the decor is it is way too bright in here. Too many lights for an evening dinner. There are also a handful of televisions high on the wall walls of the restaurant. The place seemed clean. However, the menus were very dirty. I found this gross to touch when I'm eating chips with my hands. I ordered the chicken fajita quesadilla. I substituted black beans for pinto. My husband ordered the enchilada Jericho plate. The quesadilla had good flavor with the grilled onions and peppers. I disliked the chicken as it was dry. Additionally, I do not like my chicken cut into small squiggly worm like pieces. Yet the black beans were mixed with pico and they had a very delicious flavor. The rice was also very good. The enchiladas were good and my husband thought that the cheese enchilada actually tasted the best. He agreed with me that the chicken was dry. Overall, I thought this place was good Mexican food. Definitely not authentic but very good. The service was excellent. I would come back to this restaurant. I would give it 4.5 stars.

What an incredible hidden gem of a restaurant! This was my first time going to try this restaurant,…read morerecommended by a friend, and I was blown away. The inside of the restaurant is on the smaller side, but definitely worth it. They had a large variety of sushi, curries, and ramen that you could try on the menu. I tried the gluten free ramen, which I've never been able to get before, and it truly was the best bite I've had in awhile. The broth had so much umami in it, and everything was cooked to perfection. My boyfriend tried the chicken katsu and reminded him of the ones he had back in Japan. Everyone working there is super kind. We accidentally left a wallet there, and they called us and held onto it until we could come back. Highly recommend this little spot! It's definitely worth the drive!

Tucked on a corner with entrance facing the parking lot…read more This place is newly opened- barely two months old. Small little restaurant that mirrors a simple Japanese restaurant. The menu for me is a little confusing. It basically is a combination restaurant. There was a variety of Japanese, Chinese and even Korean elements to it. There is a variety of seating available- at the bar, booths, round tables, rectangular tables for bigger groups and small tables for a party of two. We were the only people there on Sunday. I needed comfort food. We ordered spring rolls for appetisers. Hubby ordered tempura and i ordered tartan noodles. Spring rolls were nice and crispy- tasted like they were bought frozen and fried in the restaurant. The insides were a little mushy. They were laid on a bed of cabbage- the shreds on the side look a little black. They should probably have been more careful with picking of the lettuce shreds. Japanese tantan ramen is usually in spicy broth. Mine came more like a Chinese style dried noodles. I'm not complaining - felt like noodles my mom used to make. It helped with homesickness. I do want to point out one point though- the chicken in the noodles is probably from the chicken broth that was made. And its basically gotten all the flavour into the soup. The accompanying chicken soup with my tantan noodles were actually good. But would be better if the oil was removed before serving. The layer of oil on the soup was a little off-putting but the flavour of the underlying soup was good. Tempura itself ( the vegetables) were delicious. The shrimp was a little over done but overall tasty. Honestly, it would probably do them good to reduce the menu. Too much stuff too confusing. I would come back for stuff that reminds me of home though. I'm not trying to be critical. This place has potential. I have to add our server's service was really good. Attentive and polite! Good job! Good luck!

We ordered an appetizer and two meals, and were there for 2 hours, It took FOURTY MINUTES for our waters to be refilled, it wasn't even done by our server, it was the table runner that brought us our food, and we had to ask her to. We had to ask for silverware, apparently I should eat cottage cheese with my hands. I would've liked a different barbecue sauce because the one she gave me was extremely vinegary but there was no "how is your food?" "Can I get you guys anything?" So I just went without. We were going to get drinks and another app but with the shitty service we opted not to. There also wasn't other servers really around, they were all hiding in the back even though there was 5 of them. Were they cooking? Back there playing on their phones? I'd really love to know. But they all seemed to check on their tables way more than we were checked on. The guy behind us was checked on 6 times by a different waiter, and they were there longer than we were. Our server: 1. Asked us what we wanted to eat 2. Brought us the check when it was time to pay; waited 20 minutes to come back to pick up the card. TLDR: SERVICE WAS AWFUL.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a stylish setup that makes it perfect for a relaxed dinner or a night out. The bar is especially impressive -- a killer selection and a great vibe if you're looking to enjoy a drink with your meal. We started with the edamame, which was fresh and perfectly prepared. For entrées, we had the Hamachi, Steak and Salmon -- both were absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, and everything was cooked beautifully with excellent flavor. Service was a bit on the slow side, but the quality of the food definitely made it worth the wait. Overall, Sakura delivers great food, a fantastic atmosphere, and an excellent bar experience. I'd happily go back again!

The steak is always perfectly cooked, and it has great flavor, it's a true testament of Nebraska beef. And the shrimp makes a man forget he lives in the middle of land-locked Nebraska. It's the freshest tasting crustacean this side of the Mississippi. Service is sometimes a struggle, but usually it's one server covering the entire restaurant. But after tasting their food, I would willingly volunteer to serve tables if they threw in extra crab Rangoons. And don't get me started on the rice - it's beautiful. Perfect brown. Remarkable taste. I sometimes wonder if Gordon Ramsey is being held against his will in this place because it's hard to believe someone in Lincoln can cook so well. Overall I hope they can hire more staff by driving up business. I would offer to stand outside with a sign to bring people in. This place cannot close or I will be forced to go back to eating poor tasting hibachi and a dark cloud will rain down upon life. Sakura is the my new addiction and I don't think I can shake this habit.

As said before, food prices/drinks can be a bit more on the pricier side but overall everything is good. I loved the pineapple jalepeno mule, comes with chunks of fresh jalepeno. The raspberry whisp was okay, just seemed a bit watered down. I do enjoy their selection of beers which includes fun flavors like the mango habanero IPA. Service was great again, we were there during a shift change, closed out with our first server so we could tip, and she made sure to bring another server to switch and take care of us.

There is seating internally and also patio seating perfect for summers. We were seated immediately at a booth. They were already looking a little busy for a Sunday afternoon lunch crowd. We ordered two beers. Hubby's was light and what sounded delightful to me a vanilla porter. Loved hubby's beer. Didn't like my own- it tasted too bitter and coffee like. I was expecting a smooth sweet-ish dark vanilla scented porter with chocolate tones as described. We both weren't feeling too hungry so I ordered crabcakes for my meal from the starters menu. And hubby ordered cheeseburger without buns. The crabcakes were not really what I was expecting- looked a little pitiful when it came out with a small bit of coleslaw and a couple of pieces of avocado. Tasted good really- but I also wasn't expecting corn in the crabcake. Overall- delicious but small portions even for a starter. Hubby got the cheeseburger without buns. Everything was fresh. But he wasn't feeling very well and so didn't finish it all. We then ordered a red velvet cheesecake for dessert The base was chocolate cookie. And the cheesecake was velvety smooth. I didn't care for the whip on top nor the extra icing on the cake. The cheesecake itself was delicious even though a tad too sweet for me. Overall, a great time. We will be back.
