The restaurant has a cozy, rustic Irish charm that makes you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. Our server was wonderful--friendly, attentive, professional, and genuinely pleasant to talk with. We also loved her accent, which added to the authentic Irish pub atmosphere. The food arrived very quickly and was served piping hot, clearly fresh from the kitchen. Everything our party of three ordered was delicious, and everyone left happy. What really stood out to us was how kind and accommodating the staff were to our 90-year-old father. They made him feel welcome and took extra care to ensure he was comfortable. At the end of the meal, we believe the owner stopped by to ask how everything was, which was a thoughtful touch. The staff also allowed our father to use the floor-level exit and kindly held the door for us when we left. It's becoming harder and harder to find restaurants that combine great food with genuinely warm hospitality, but Paddy's Loft delivered both. We left feeling appreciated as customers and are already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended!

Tickets (~$30/pp) were easy to purchase via their website and they email you the QR code which you can show at the door when you arrive. No need to print the ticket! I was surprised at how big the venue was inside because from the outside, it looked like a small spot. Apparently this spot has been around for awhile because when I mentioned the place to my stepfather in law, he knew about it from when he was younger! The place was also surprisingly very clean and tidy. Coat check was $3 cash and the line went relatively fast. I was really happy they did not misplace or lose my jacket at the end of the night (speaking from my clubbing days from "back in the day"). You get a physical ticket after handing them your jacket and they even tell you to take a picture of the ticket in case you lose it during the night. After getting my coat checked, there was a table with lit up flower headbands and lit up foam sticks. These were both a hit as almost everyone at the venue had one of each. I would say the age range went from those in their 30s up to women in their 50s. Everyone was respectful of each other which was great. The place was crowded but not so crowded that you couldn't move around or felt claustrophobic though at times, the venue did get kind of warm inside. I did not order any food but I think the VIP tables had that option. I also did not order any drinks because I do not drink alcohol. My friends that did drink seemed happy with what they got. There were multiple bars throughout the venue which was great as you didn't have to walk far to get a drink. I had no issues with any of the staff throughout my night. The bartenders were pleasant as well as the staff handling the coats, the bouncers and security. There were two bathrooms (men and women) and there was always a line for both. At this specific party it was females only so staff allowed us to use the mens bathroom. The DJ (DJ Mary Mac) was great and played a good variety of music throughout the night. There was even a portion of the night where January birthday party goers got up on the stage to celebrate their birthdays. Sound quality was great and even though this was a "day party", it really felt like we were partying at night like the good old clubbing days haha. The con is that parking is hard to find so arrive early before the party. It is located right next to the LIRR train station so I guess that's good for those that want to travel by train. A lot of areas around the venue was 1 hour parking until 6pm or 8pm which was annoying because the party I was going to started at 5pm. Overall, I would definitely return for other events! It seems from their website that they always have something going on!

Our waiter Joe was very nice. The girl who sat us gave us our menus right away. I had to wait for hubby to park, but I had time to look over the menu. All the choices sounded good. Hubby wound up with a Spinach Benedict with Roasted Tomatoes with nicely Crispy fries and a lemon Benedict sauce to die for. I got a Avocado Toast with Goat Cheese and Caramelized Onions on whole grain toast. The Arugula salad that was also on the plate was covered lightly with a lemony dressing. I added Cholula Sauce and it was so good. Another point I'd like to make is that the bottles of hot sauces were clean with no cruddy tops. That turns me off so good for them. I would definitely go back.

We were planning to patronize Runyons at least once a month, for our dinners with friends, since they're right around the corner but with my last experience.... I will not be going back. This is a story about BAD MANAGEMENT!!! Service: The wait staff is very polite and friendly but we were told that management has policy to ask customers to remove their napkin holders and hand it to the waitress, so we did it. I thought that my only job was to pay my check, not work for my meal and... are they reusing those napkin holders that are handled by so many people over and over again, I'm a little skeeved. Food: When I received my meal and noticed that it was incomplete ( my PEI muscles, the main item was missing). I notified our waitress who apologized, she went to the chef and returned offering to fix my dinner by adding a couple of shrimp instead, since they were out of the main item for my meal and I accepted the offer instead of returning my meal. The waitress returned after a few minutes and notified me "THE MANAGER STATED THAT TWO SHRIMP ARE TOO EXPENSIVE, SO THEY CANNOT OFFER IT AS A REPLACEMENT" WHAT! Two shrimp for a $25 meal? Are you kidding me, I was appalled! Instead of apologizing for screwing up my meal and instead of correcting the problem and keeping your customers happy when the mistake is theirs, Runyons management choose to insult their customer by penny pinching . That's a little Nasty and tacky! They lost a few thousand dollars a year from my business as well a my friends for.... pennies. They finally half boiled three clams and served me as a replacement. Yuk! Watch Your Price: My meal cost was listed as 22.95 but, they charged 24.95 for my meal, this happened both times that I patronized this restaurant. Average food, boring menu, poor customer service.. I will take my business somewhere else and recommend that my friends do the same. read more

The food here is actually decent, but I needed to write about the staff and clientele since I will not be bringing my family back to your establishment because of this. I wanted to write about actually seeing illegal drug activity being run out of here. Being here a few times in the last couple months, with my own eyes i actually saw drug transfers. The people who come here and the bartenders I actually saw a drug deal between. It seems like this place houses criminals at night. Everyone seemed very sketchy and it definitely did not seem like a safe scene. I will be taking my family elsewhere unless they clean the place up and get rid of the trash that goes/works there. read more

WOW amazing taste from a combination of different meats and perfect spices added. 10 out of 10 just go there for the meatballs and you will be set! Ok so we also had bang bang shrimp - very good- spicy mild but cooked nicely - its fried I hope they use tallow to cook bc I hate seed oils- anyway- the pork chop chop martini was ok not great- it was nothing compared to #1 spot Robkes. It was dry and sauce uninspired complement. The NY strip I ordered was cooked perfectly med rare but was way over salated and I love salt but this was really overly salty. So was creamed spinach- they took the spinach back and the over cooked dry pork chop martini and took em off bill.
