We ordered the Aloha Bowl, Coconut Cream Fruit Bowl, Aloha Smoothie, La Jolla Club, and Coffee Crunch. I have to say, everything we tried was delicious! My personal favorite was the Coconut Cream Fruit Bowl. The fruit tasted incredibly fresh, and you could tell everything was prepared with care. I really wanted to like this place because it's located next to a gym and markets itself as a healthier option, but my experience was disappointing. I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap and was given turkey instead of chicken. On top of that, the wrap was mostly lettuce with an excessive amount of mayo, so it wasn't very satisfying. The most frustrating part was when I called to ask for the nutritional information. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable--I simply wanted to know how much protein was in the wrap. Instead of answering my question, the employee joked that I was "being difficult like the rest of the customers," then sarcastically said, "You're worried about the calories? Do you know how many calories are in a Caesar wrap?" It came across as arrogant and dismissive. As someone who tracks protein for fitness, that's a completely normal question, especially for a restaurant next to a gym that promotes healthier food. To make matters worse, they couldn't even get my name right when my order was ready--they called me "Tony." Mistakes happen, but professionalism matters. So, I lived in PB from about 2015 to 2017. I used to go to the gym at Shock, right above Rum Jungle. When I tell you that this Diablo Wrap has had a HOLD ON ME for the past 10 years, it's absolutely no exaggeration. I dream of it, I drool while I'm dreaming about it, and I'll eventually drive from Escondido to PB just to wrap my lips around it. I have tried to recreate this thing at home, to no real success. The Hawaiian Bowl has an açaí base and is topped with granola, banana, mango, pineapple, coconut, and honey. Greys portion sizes- I could barely finish my bowl and the fruit was fresh and sweet. Chairs are all stained and filthy, service is poor- it took about 20-25min to get a breakfast diablo wrap when there were three workers and just three customers in the shop. Açaí bowls are not made with pure açaí, they taste like a sweet watered down version that takes away from the health benefits of eating the açaí berries. Which, I have been seeing more and more açaí shops use this blend in recent years... I'm sure it's to cut costs, yet they still charge $14 a bowl for it. You can also tell it's not real açaí (or very little) by the pinkish instead of the rich dark purple color of the açaí. My friend did say the diablo wrap was really tasty though. read more

I love the PB Açaí bowl, but I went with the tree hugger for *health* and it wasn't too noticeable! The bowls always look beautiful and the fruit is fresh! I always get a large because it's a $2 difference for almost double. The large is $13.99 and small is $11.99. I haven't tried the shakes, but from what I hear they are also very good.
