ANM Restoration Services

ANM Restoration Services

I highly recommend this company. The Eaton fire left my home covered in soot and ash. Inside…read moresmelled of smoke. Our garages got a good dose too. While I was a little hesitant never having done restoration our foreman Steve and his crew have been experts. I have been blown away by how thorough they are. Nothing has been left untouched. They open every cabinet and closet, remove the items, clean the walls then the items unless it is clothing. I chose to wash my own clothes. They contracted with a tester to determine if there were toxins because that would drive how the remediation would proceed. In our situation there were no toxins. The estimator Jenny spent 2 hours documenting the mess that the fire and wind event left my home of many years. The estimate was extremely detailed. When I had questions she answered me promptly and eased my fears when I expressed them. She was never condescending or annoyed as I needed a lot of handholding in the beginning. Once the crew started all of it was dispelled. I feel ANM restoration went above and beyond in getting our home inside and out back to clean. In fact it's the cleanest it's ever been. Our insurance company chose them. I would choose them on my own if this were to happen again. Every surface has been vacuumed and/or cleaned by hand. The crew washed every dish in our china cabinets and pantry. Every shelf and pictures are spotless. They used something called wallglide. But they would use Dawn if I requested for certain items. My insurance company has cut checks based on ANM's recommendations that certain items like beds were a total loss. No need to clean first then decide if they were acceptable.. I have one crew just for cleaning. The crew forewoman comes to me to ask questions or if I need to approve a particular process that doesn't need her foreman's input. The team says they work together on many jobs. I think they worked well together. Once the insulation was removed, a different crew came to vacuum the attic. They spent a good day cleaning our crawlspace. They have another crew that will reinsulate. I am thankful I upped my coverage a few years back so there is no fight over whether the insurance will pay or not. ANM has another team that is coming in at the end to steam clean my upholstered furniture and rugs. I feel individual expertise means I am getting the benefit. The foreman is busy working both the Palisades and the Eaton fire. I feel he is good about checking in on the crew. He surveys their work and it doesn't matter if he isn't on site every day. He is always ready to answer questions and he advises me if I am uncertain about an insurable item or not. His crew is extremely skilled and professional. He brings additional supplies when needed and makes sure his crew has the proper masks and in some instances a respirator p100 for areas of clean up like the attic. They brought professional HEPA vacuums. I could go on and on but the bottom line is I am so pleased with the work and care ANM took with my home. The ANM team who have worked on my home has exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them and their ability to supplement services (then my insurance cuts a check) as needed. They are actually working a bit longer than the time they estimated but I appreciate their taking the time to do the best job.

I read the Yelp reviews on these crooks too late. Don't be like me. READ YELP then go with ARG…read more ANM Reconstruction or ANM Construction (same thing) is the worst! Run! I'm sorry I had to give them a star to get my review in as they deserve 0 stars and many turds. Joe is rude, extremely sexist and the opposite of helpful. I shed a lot of tears before I realized I could switch companies and wow what a difference. First of all, ANM employees don't actually work. They stand around and smoke so a 2 month job turns into a 10 month job. In fact, it still wouldn't be finished and everything would've been "out of pocket" (their favorite phrase) if we hadn't switched. What work they did do was really bad and had to be redone by the good company. Everything is about saving them money. They will only do one coat of paint for example. "No, we don't do shutters or the wall next to the one we painted" so now it looks horrible. WE had to be out of our home in 3 different AirBNBs before the insurance money ran out and we were homeless. Joe seemed to be in cahoots with our Insurance agent. All of them have 0 customer skills! They would actually out and out lie. Things they tore out (like our vanity and sink, closet doors, etc. were "missing" so had to be repurchased. And of course, out of pocket. I don't know why USAA uses them. We certainly have advised them not to. Don't consider them for anything! If your insurance company selects them, you have the right to turn them down.
