Marshall's located in Laurel, Maryland was once an unbelievable oasis overflowing with real name…read morebrand leather handbags, exclusive fashions that you would see in this store at the same time they were for sale at bigger stores like Macy's. This Marshall use to carry beautiful Kate Spade, bags and modern dresses from BCBG. Now it's all fashion for frumpy grandmas and old church ladies. This Marshall's use to be the go to place for unique quality shoes and delicious styles. The store was clean and organized in a way that made it feel like a more prestigious store. It always felt like this Marshall's was a far far class above TJ Maxx and totally far beyond the league of Ross Dress For Less which is set up like a disorganized thrift store. Unfortunately, whomever is managing Marshall's worldwide has done it a terrible disservice. They have reorganized the set up of this store so that it now resembles the bargain basement Ross Dress for Less snd every local thrift store. The shoes use to set up nicely like notable shoe stores with shoes visibly set on top of a row and all the sizes of that shoe in their individual boxes under the top displayed shoe. Now Marshslls has reorganized and set up their shoes in close rows like those old Payless stores where the shoes are not easily visible snd you have to go on a hunt row by row looking for shoes or a particular shoe. Also, they cut the tops off of the shoe boxes so you cannot store the shoes nicely when you get home. This shoe set up makes the store feel cheap. In addition to various other issues, Marshall's no longer carries dresses. Well they have maybe 30 dresses that look like they have been there for years. Most of their dresses are outdated and not organization. The handbag quality has also declined. Marshdlls no longer carries nice Italian leather and name brand bags. Now Marshalls carries cheap handbags like Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger. All the items appear as though the buyer for this store is 85 or 90 years old and never heard of fashion. The place looks sad inside. It needs a coat of paint on the walls and someone who knows how to organize a store. They really need help staging this space. The bathrooms snd fitting rooms are also of concern. They appear as though they are never cleaned. Marshall's please make changes. Your store is declining in every way.

There were associates on the floor available for when I asked a question if where the board games were. And everything was well stocked. No issues with asking if they had something in the back. "This is the one night of the year that it stays on until it burns out," Batman explains. "It's a good thing if you're rich enough to afford the electric bill," Robin smirks. "But I don't..." "Shush! Down there!" Damian admonishes his father. "It's crime time," Robin yells as he hurdles off the building's ledge, from which they were once perched like gargoyles, and immediately engages in fisticuffs with whom he believes to be the Riddler, Two-face, and the Joker. "AAGGGHHH! Don't hurt us!" They plead. "Robin, stop!" Bruce pleads as he grabs Damian's fist-clenched right hand. "They're just kids." "They're just kids? KIDS?! What lowlife has kids doing their dirty work?" the ever-mission-focused Damian scowls. "Look around you," Bruce calmly adopts the roles of teacher and parent as he walks into a bustling sidewalk filled with kids dressed as Superman, Lex Luthor, Darkseid, Zatanna, Flash, and Mr. Freeze, among a few less DC-specific, generic Halloween icons. "It's Halloween." Before 2020, in the U.S., parents could rely on myriad pop-up costume shops and national retailers to fulfill their pre-teens' desires to dress up like Li'l Clayface or Li'l Poison Ivy. Post pandemic, one of the last brick-and-mortar places parents have left for such holiday-shopping is Target, which, unfortunately, is no longer as committed nationally to exploring new customer bases and bolstering first-time business owners. At least at this 3343 Corridor Marketplace location in Laurel, Maryland, the exceptional customer service from Lynn makes each trip for groceries, household staples, and seasonal offerings worthwhile for us.

Either the store overall no longer carries what I was looking for, or I may have missed it during the last season. I noticed they had what looked like a shawl to wear indoors and thought it would be perfect in keeping me warm. At the time I visited, there was a sale going on, so that helped a lot. They also had some sleepwear sets, but when I felt them, I noticed the material was very thin - more for maybe spring weather vs winter. I will look for that at a different store altogether. I did not stay long in this store. It was quick in and out. I still had good service when I checked out.

Since hitting my 30s, I've considered myself too "old" for Old Navy. But, I decided to open my mind a little bit...and escape the heat with some quick window shopping. I was quite surprised that I found a few summer wear items that were on sale especially because many items were marked off 30-50%. I thought the store, for the most part, had a decent inventory of clothes and was very well-organized. Overall, I thought customer service was pretty good. I get it's a part of their job, but I get a bit annoyed when I'm asked to apply for a high interest store credit card MULTIPLE times during a shopping adventure. It would be nice if these corporations could pass on savings to customers WITHOUT them applying for and using a store credit card.
