I have been coming here recently to do Amazon returns since they have a station in the back of the store. If it were not for Amazon I may never have set foot in a Kohls again but here we are! Also they give you Kohls cash just for returning here. Decided to look around while I was there and was able to find a very cute ski jacket for myself! I have been looking for a ski jacket for months. Everywhere I have gone either has no jackets for skiing or if they happen to, they are either not in my size, too expensive, or ugly. I have not heard of the brand Madden Girl before but what a great jacket for $60! I am shocked. I even took it skiing with me and it did a great job keeping me dry and warm. Kohls is a great place to go for guys clothing specifically. I kind of feel sad for this store it is usually pretty empty, but it is nice to not be in a crowded store. read more

This store is clean, organized, and well laid out. My senior mom went shopping in this kohls and she was treated like a queen. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. They were very patient and really helped my mom find everything she wanted. Liz, the shoe department manager, went out of her way to find the last pair of shoes in the size we needed. Kohls had everything we needed at a terrific value and sale price. Everyone we encountered was very nice and very informative. I highly recommend this Kohls. read more

The sales associate and the manager were extremely friendly over the phone when I hand a request for an online order for in-store pickup that I was late in picking up. They were helpful and professional, and though my order was cancelled because I didn't pick up in time, the manager offered to have the item ready again at the customer service desk and even said she'd price-match in case the price went up. In store, I had a positive experience in buying a pair of shoes and redeeming my Kohl's Cash. The employee was extremely helpful in ringing up my order, complimented my purchase, and invited me back. I saved $66 off the original price, according to the receipt! The store was extremely neat an organize, except for a few spots near some messy customers. Lots of clearance items, but a bear to try to sift through them as it always goes. Will be coming back! read more

So, on November 30th I went to kohl's in Laurel and I witnessed the worst for of customer service that I have ever seen in any retail store. There was a mother and daughter checking out with hundreds of dollars worth of stuff. At least $400-$500. Apparently the daughter was trying to buy a lotion which would not ring up. The manager came over and several other employees and they were all horrible. The lotion had a big tag that said 20% more free, the manager insisted that meant it cost 20% more than the regular size. All of this took 25 to 30 minutes for an item the the regular size was about $15. It was the only one in the store and an finally an employee came up to her and said I can sell it to you for $29. The customer said "Do you think I am stupid the is twice the price of the regular one." The employee flipped her off and walked off with the lotion. I followed her because I had to see the end of this. When she got behind the jewelry counter she she ducked down and stuck it in her pants pocket. To me the manager after figuring out it is literally the only one in the store and she couldn't find it at all in her computer system she should have given it for free to the customer and said happy holidays. Kohl's, not really sure what this place is. I mean it has everything under the sun, is it a department store, is it a convenience store? Meh, I don't know. This Kohl's is located in Laurel off of Rte 198. Not necessarily easy to spot from the road, but once you enter in the shopping center with the Target, Chick Fil A, and Weis, its hard to miss. The parking is good, I can't say it ever looks busy when I go... I must be honest, I don't frequent Kohl's often because IMHO the clothes aren't the BEST quality. My experience is similar to Courtney, as the clothes just don't last. More often then not the store is clean, and the staff are helpful. On this date, (the day after Christmas) it wasn't the case. But hey, I understand. I am happy that they do have other nifty things like luggage and workout gear. They also have frequent coupons that assist with savings. I can't say that I will go out of my way to go back, but it's there. read more

Its been years since I've been to a Kohl's. I was pleasantly surprised! The store was well lit organized and very neat. The floors even had a nice clean shine. I was also surprised at the quality of merchandise. Not high end but definitely good in a pinch for the price point. I cant believe I drive past this place often and never venture in. I needed to use a gift card I'd received and I've never had such a hard time getting inspired to buy something! For all of the sales, discounts, and coupon offerings they advertise, none of the prices were really that great once I did the math. I finally decided on a KitchenAid mixer ice cream attachment that was "originally" $99, on "sale" for $79.99, and I had to tear out a coupon from the circular for 15% off-bringing it down to $67.99 +tax....the same price it is on Amazon, Macy's, and everywhere else. I get it, Americans love feeling like they've gotten a deal...but not when it's just smoke and mirrors for jacked up prices. read more

So I can't believe I'm standing in the store right now taking my time to write this review. I guess what I'd really like to know is why it bothers me so much. In looking for clothes for my daughter, I'm astounded that this department is the worst I've seen in any store. In a shelving unit that should be for 2T-4T, there are clothes mixed in from infants all the way up to little girls. On top of that, all the shirt designs are mixed together. This is not Kohl's. I realized there was a closer Kohl's to me when I looked it up on Yelp. I brought my teen son here to make some selections for clothes for a dance he was attending. I was able to find all the items in one location. He even seemed interested in the process which is a feat in itself for someone who loathes shopping. The store is clean, well lit but difficult to find an employee for a price check. The price checking stations were down and no one seemed concerned about it but hesitant to assist when you wanted to check a price. Checking out was easy but spent 15 minutes because a tie had a sensor on it and we had the darnedest time trying to determine what article of clothing was setting off the alarm. Periodically they will have in store promotions, email coupons if you sign up and the offering of Kohl's cash that is accumulated from purchases of a certain amount. Not a terrible experience and I would utilize this location again. read more

Kohl's Kash is a RIP-off method!! It one purchases something on uses Kohl's Kash, if the item is return, even unopened, the customer is charged the retail price. In essence, buy something for $200, use $50 Kash, pay $150. Return the item and the customer is charged $200! So, penalized for using Kohl's Kash! Is this legal??? read more

I used to come to this location back in the day and was turned off by the lack of cleanliness in the store. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I popped in last week to use a Kohl's cash before it expired. The store was pretty immaculate and even the sales racks were neat and tidy. Everything was organized by style/color/size and the dressing rooms were pristine. I typically drive to the Annapolis location, but this one may become my new favorite! read more

I love this Kohl's; I've shopped here for over a decade. They have great sales and deals and Kohl's continues to give out coupons every few weeks which you can use on sale items. Most of the employees here are really nice and helpful. The lady in the makeup/jewelry department though is always rude and impolite. Certain departments could be a neater but overall, it's a great place to shop. read more

My experience at Kohl's yesterday will probably end up being my last one. I spent an hour shopping in this location yesterday with my daughter. The main focus of our trip was back-to-school tennis shoes. My daughter found a pair of Nikes that she wanted. The price on the sample shoe was $59.99. We checked and double-checked that the SKU number on the sample shoe matched the pair of shoes she picked out. When the cashier rang them up, the price was $88. When I pointed out the discrepancy, she said, "Nike requires us to sell their shoes for whatever price they ring up for." I asked, "Why is the sample shoe marked at almost $30 less than the actual selling price?" The cashier actually shrugged. We went back and forth for a minute, but she maintained that there was nothing she could do about it. I said, "Someone should probably grab that sample shoe and change the price so other people aren't fooled, right?" She responded, "We can't do that, ma'am." You know that point in an argument or tense discussion when you realize that you and your opponent are not on the same page in the slightest? Yeah. I left the shoes on the counter and headed to the car to do what I should have done in the first place: order the shoes from Amazon for $2 less than the price that was displayed on the sample shoe. $10 of Kohl's Cash that I can't use until Kohl's allows me to (when I don't need anything else) isn't worth this frustration and a full hour of my wasted time. I won't buy clothes for myself here because they never last more than one or two washings without losing their shape, breaking or stretching. However, they sell Carter's brand for kids. The selection is decent, but nothing special. The prices are comparable to other places, but they do offer coupons regularly. I came here on my last visit in search of a bathing suit for my son. I found the last size 18 month bathing suit in the store, thankfully. I would rather go to the Carter's store in Columbia than come here, but it works in a pinch. read more

It was been years since I have walked into Kohl's Department Store. I used to dread coming here because whenever my Mom mentioned Kohl's, it specifically meant "time to get school uniforms." Well now that I am 24 years old and can actually walk around by myself I would have to say that it is a lot better. The entire store has been reorganized, the bathrooms are astonishingly clean, the baby section is quite vast and the home section is the finest. I went on New Year's Day this year and it was perfect timing to go since everything was on sale. I ended up getting Christmas presents for next year! I would have to say that as a Fashion Major and brand conscious person, I would not purchase clothes from here. They resemble Walmart and tend to only buy/design brands for the elderly or children. The junior section is awful and the women's section is a hot mess. read more

DON'T EVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. I ordered six pairs of slacks and they were shipped early. Lasership (their crappy shipping service) lost my order and Kohl's wanted me to wait 8 - 10 days before I could either get a new order shipped or get my money back. This even though the package never left the Lasership facility for delivery to me! I was told that I would have to place a 2nd order to get my merchandise and they would/could issue a credit after an investigation. They wanted me to do this even though I couldn't trust them to get the first one to me correctly or whether they would be issuing me a credit on it. I am beyond irate and incredulous! I'm being treated like a criminal even though the package never left the shipping company's warehouse nor was ever on the truck for delivery to me. read more

The customer service at all Kohl's is typically poor, it's just a fact of life that I have come to expect, however this location is particularly bad, especially the cashiers and customer service desk who very obviously stall the lines and purposefully draw out each transaction as they compete with each other to service the least amount of customers. read more

What can I say? Kohl's rocks! I really like this particular store - the folks who work there are very helpful and friendly. I went on 0600 on Black Friday and basically had the store to myself. I heard there was a huge rush at midnight. When I got there, everything was neatly put back, and the shelves re-stocked. I found everything that I needed, plus what I didn't need but wanted. Earned some Kohl's bucks too, so that will come in handy for the Christmas shopping. I always go to this Kohl's. LOVE IT. read more

The bane of my existence. I have never had a GOOD shopping experience at any Kohls. I don't even know why I come here. This past weekend, I was on the hunt for new bras and searched for my brand online. Surprisingly, Kohls had the best price on the bras I wanted so I reluctantly got in my car and went to this ungodly store. Once inside, I found the bras and noticed that they weren't on sale like they were online. I walked to the back of the store to customer service and waited for 10 minutes because one representative needed assistance from the only other customer service rep because she "couldn't do math." Once home girl got her lesson in addition, I was called to the counter. I asked the representative if the bra I was holding was on sale. She said it wasn't. When I pulled up the price of the SAME EXACT bra on my phone from Kohls.com, she then proceeded to tell me that the stores DO NOT price match with their website. Say what?!?!? Really? I politely told her that Kohls was ridiculous, told her I would not be purchasing the bra in my hand, and walked my happy behind out the door. Never again. read more

I have never been so offended in my entire life. My mom and I went shopping for my birthday and she bought me almost $400 worth of clothes from a different Kohl's. I brought all my new stuff home only to find that three of the items did not fit. I knew that my mom had the receipt so I proceeded to check the website to see their return/exchange policy. It clearly said no receipt, no problem. All I wanted to do was exchange the items. I brought them into this location because this store was closer to my house and proceeded to the customer service desk. The woman that assisted me was absolutely the RUDEST person I have ever dealt with. She accused me of stealing the items and told me that kids constantly steal. I'm 24 years old, hardly a "kid" and I would never do such a thing. I told her you can watch the video footage of me walking in the store with the items, you can even call my mother who also applied for a credit card at the time she purchased these. If their return policy stated they needed a receipt I definitely would have gone to my parents house and picked it up but never would I have imagined how I was treated in this store. I absolutely hate to say this but I 100% believe this was a race issue. I also would not complain if she had just said maybe one or two things but she made me stand there for 15 min uncomfortable with her attitude and demeanor. Wont be shopping here again. read more
