Huge store! It has what you are looking for and what you are not. I went in there to purchase a gift for my husband. I had made up my mind that I would not get any more shoes and I really tried to look in only the men's selection. Without looking too much, I walked out of there with a pair for him and a pair for myself. They had a clearance and I had a coupon offer. I recommend this place read more

An extremely large area shoes and sneakers everywhere. However, very tidy. We were looking for specific sneaker for gym class found a cool pair of adidas. There was plenty of staff around to take question ls and point me into the right direction. I expected a lower price but the sneakers were brand new with no flaws. Give If a fry read more

Huge store! I need to come here more often. I mean, I really shouldn't but I was impressed with the selection compared to other locations. I walked around and saw alot. I was picking up an online order. Erica was super helpful and personable. Thank you! I'll come here more often! Worth the trip! read more

DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse - Shoe Stores Near Me - Columbia, Maryland

So unfortunate to say that this location is a no no for me ... how disappointing for a customer to have to return to the store to take both sensors off the shoes purchased. I'm sure the company has some type of protocol to follow when checking a costumer out. Very unprofessional and inconvenient I'd say. I asked for some sort of store credit or something for the problem THEY had created and in response all I got was a I'm sorry. No empathy for costumers especially during these times #covid19 all I wanted was to get a quick new comfy pair of shoes and instead I got delayed and a I'm sorry. I would NOT RECOMMEND this location to anyone. Unless you want to have to check your box to make sure THE EMPLOYEES are doing their job correctly then go for it? P.s I'll hold onto the picture for another time ! read more

Great selection of shoes (sandals, sneakers, boots, pumps/heels, flats, mules, slides) organized by style in the aisles. There are also handbags and accessories such jewelry, shawls, and socks. The back of the store has racks of clearance shoes. I was on a mission for rain or hiking boots for an upcoming trip and I found Sperry rain boots on clearance. It was originally $100 and I got them for 50% off. Fyi the sales associate informed me that the rewards program recently changed and now there are three tiers. I have been a rewards member for several years. The perks include that you occasionally get coupons in the mail and get informed of sales. Additionally the more money you spend on your purchases, the quicker it is for you to get your reward. I learned something new while looking at the rewards brochure which is you can earn 50 points when you donate shoes. DSW is definitely a fun place to shop for shoe lovers. read more

DSW is a must stop of mine about once a month. Because of how much walking I end up doing in DC I go through dress shoes fast. Without DSW I would spend so much more. Fortunately there are always sales, they send me coupons, and I earn points on my purchases. (You can use up to 3 promotions at a time.) Plus the have socks with little bison on them, of which I have 3 pair. (Don't ask.) Unfortunately the only pictures I have on my phone right now are some wild looking women's shoes that I tease my wife that I will buy her with my points. Plus one of a comfortable pair of shoes I bought for the weekend. read more

If I could put 0 stars I would. I ordered a pair of slippers on the 20th of December, it is not the 17th of January and I called the customer service line just to find out my ordered arrived on the 26th of December to the store!!!!!!!! Nobody from the store contacted me nobody emailed me to let me know the shoes were there, I wasn't even given an arrival text call or email. If these slippers weren't a gift to someone else, I'd throw them at the people that work there. read more

DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse - Shoe Stores Near Me - Columbia, Maryland

I like the Columbia, Md location. Unfortunately, 1/2 [of the shoes I like they are out of stock on. The store is nice and clean and the staff are great. Looking forward to my next visit in hopes they have 12-13 size in shoes. read more

This is one of my favorite DSW locations in the Maryland area. And, they have one of the best clearance sections. Yes, I shop clearance and I am not ashamed to admit that I go straight to the clearance section first before I peruse the other areas. It is always full and plentiful with shoes. Great shoes. Also, if you sign up for their free rewards program, you can receive coupons ranging from $5 - $20 depending on how much you spend and the occasion. I used to get $10 coupons for my birthday regardless of how much I spend, but now they only send $5 rewards unless you spend a certain amount between a selected period. But, I always get $10 coupons throughout the year, so it's not as much of a bummer. The actual store is pretty big (just one floor though and not as grand as the Bethesda location). The staff are usually very friendly and available for assistance, if needed. The line can get pretty long at times, but it usually moves very fast. read more

Placed an order online for pickup, which was supposed to be ready in 2 hours. It was not ready after 2 hours and after going to the store, they could not fulfill the order. Useless ordering process and zero customer service. read more

DSdubb Snowden is my happy place. They always seem to have my size and different variations of what I'm looking for. What's more is this location seems to have the fastest ship to store I've experienced with other locations. Thumbs up for second day pickup!! Worth mentioning is the checkout line impulse buy section, cmon now, what other pick aisles can you find Ok! brand k-beauty masks? I'll have one avocado and black sesame mask, thank you. Anyway, you already know what DSW has to offer shoes and more shoes, and if they don't have your shoes they can order them for you free of charge. read more

I used to come here actively for all of my shoe options. Although I now go elsewhere for most of my purchases, I still come here for their clearance. I suggest when you come here, to go to that section first (racks in the back). read more

Shoes, shoes, and (oh yeah) more shoes. What else do you say about a place? Especially one named *gasp* Designer SHOE Warehouse. (What, you were expecting jackets or underwear?) I honestly don't know jack about shoes. The only thing I've learned, as I grow older (and fatter) is that you want comfort. Sure, you could spend $100+ on some snazzy looking Nikes or Reeboks, or you could just go here and buy a comfortable pair of Dr. Scholls for $50. Better yet, wait until there are deals and get two pairs. Anyway, DSW hasn't failed me, or my wife, or my daughter yet. Whenever we've beaten up our shoes beyond repair, no cheap Payless or expensive Foot Locker for me. Nope, I head to DSW, find something that's comfortable without breaking my wallet. read more

I knew exactly what I needed (for once) and was just hoping that it was in stock. The shoe section I was looking in was rather jumbled, with the wrong styles in the wrong slots, but I eventually found it, in the correct size and everything! At the register, the line looked pretty long with only two cashiers, but it moved quick enough. Good price, too - particularly if you're a DSW member. read more

I enjoyed my trip here. I bought my mom and wife here to buy shoes. They looked around and found a couple of pair. I like they had gender neutral bathrooms. For me, I think the men shoes are over priced to be in a shoe warehouse. The prices I saw were not sale prices. But I like the cashier that was rocking to the music. She was very helpful. With my mom and wife needs. She was the first cash register by the door. That's again for the wonderful experience you gave us, but please lower the men prices down a bit, I may come back and buy a pair or two read more

This was a super nice DSW and the employees were really helpful. I happened to get a pair of shoes for an amazing price, even better than any DSW I've been to. I couldn't believe that in the Columbia location they would have the best selection AND prices. The employees were very friendly and even though there were lots of people, the line moved quickly. read more

DSW is by far my favorite shoe store. I definitely have an appreciation for quality merchandise that's well-made, but hate to pay full price. This place has a good selection of shoes and handbags at very reasonable prices for the quality you're getting. The normal DSW prices are already at a good discount from retail. When you couple that with additional discounts in the clearance section, you can find some really amazing deals. The store is big enough that even when it's busy you don't feel crowded. An awesome bonus - there's a bathroom in the store for customer use so you can shop for HOURS! The rewards program pays off too and you get certificates based on your spending during a certain period of time. read more

It's dangerous for me to spend too much time in DSW but the great perks I get for being a Rewards member make it hard to stay away. This store has actually come a long way in the years I've lived in Columbia. Stopped in last weekend to use my bday reward of $20 and I was surprised how meticulously organized everything is now. The selection of shoes, boots and handbags are pretty good, especially for a quick purchase. They do have a few high-end designer names but most are mainstream shoe designers you can find in any mall. The place to pay attention is the sale section at the rear of the store. Sure, you'll spend some time searching through the massive displays but I guarantee you'll find a deal you can't believe is actually the correct price. Shop in the off season for best selections (right now for sandals). read more

I've been called a shoe whore, but I'm not sure that's the right moniker. After all, I'm not putting out for pumps or peeptoes. I'm not saying I'm above doing so....which I guess means that yep, "shoe whore" is apropos. This DSW has a very good selection, seems to have a good inventory of sizes and keeps up with the seasons. There was a long line to check-out this past weekend, but by the time I dug my iPhone out of my purse, it had moved so quickly I didn't even have a chance to update my FB status with, "Buying still more shoes at DSW"! read more

I went to return a pair of ugg boots I just purchase Saturday 11/26. Didn't like the fit. Went to the register the young lady looked at my receipt and said I can't give your money back, because the shoes cost to much. I said excuse me? And she walks away to another young lady at the register. I asked many times excuse me please explain to me what the issue is. She said very nasty a manager will be up to speak with you. I was very upset because of her tone and attitude. The manager comes up and says we don't have this amount of money in our register. Can we refund to a card. I had no issue with that. My issue was with the young lady. Her approach was so unprofessional and not customer service friendly. Just me kind. I asked for her name and very nasty she said something like Siyed. The manager was pleasant and assisted me. This young lady should not deal with customers put her on the floor and have her stock shoes only. She should not deal with any interaction with customers. This will be a DSW I will not return too because of this kind of behavior. What happened to good customer service??! read more

I LOVE this store!!! I always find so many pairs of shoes that I want when I shop there. They have such a large selection and they always have the shoes I want in my size, which is hard to find; size 11! I also love using my memerbship card too because I get great discounts and coupons in the mail. The only negative thing I would say about shopping here is when I run out of $$... Or when I look at my credit card bill! HAHA read more

I purchased a pair of shoes online from DSW. When the shoes arrived the box was battered, beat up. Took shoes out of box and lo and behold they shipped me a pair of shoes that had been worn. Some had worn them and returned then and the warehouse in turn tried to ship them as being new. All I had to do was look at the bottom of the shoes and the suede and could tell they had been worn. This is the second time this has happened. Beware, check shoes out after you have received them!!! read more

I like shoes...everyone knows this about me. But I like customer service better. Ok, yes, I did get a greeting when I came in, but if you see browsing around, not really seeing anything...maybe a little confused, maybe that's an associates opportunity to assist me. Just a thought. read more

Best place to come for shoes! Their clearance area is one of the best. I would still have to state that the Bethesda location has the ultimate shoe clearance section with multiple designer shoes available at a steep price cut, however, the Columbia location is still able to compete. read more

My favorite shoe store! LOTS of styles and sizes available at good prices. If you want a particular shoe and can't find it here, it probably doesn't exist! They always have a large selection on clearance at the back, too. Recently redesigned inside, I prefer the previous layout, but there are lots more registers now, which obviously leads to a speedier checkout. Staff are friendly and attentive, without being overly attentive. Plenty of parking and a customer loyalty card that provides real discounts. read more

I came to the checkout counter and the cashier found several coupons (without me asking) that saved me $90 on my order! He was so friendly and told me "I want to make today YOUR day!" To top it off three separate employees assisted me graciously and were absolutely pleasant and polite, and clearly happy to help. I have always been a DSW shopper, and always pleased with my experience, but this Columbia store blew me away. I will be sure to intentionally visit this store in the future. read more
