I love it here! my husband and I most recently dined here last night for dinner we arrived about 8:00 p.m. and the restaurant was fairly steady. we dined at the bar...the bartender/server Marquis he's definitely consistent I actually noticed his growth since we've been dining here for so long... he started out as a waiter and I believe became the backup bartender and now he seems to be the full time bartender/server ...great for him! he's definitely taking the role seriously and we love that for him! I did try the grilled scallop medallions and shrimp meal with double broccoli it was very good. I must say it was a little bit of food I wasn't full at all so if you do get that just remember you may still be hungry... I was still hungry even after 2 old fashioned drinks and 2 pieces of the chicken quesadilla. Plenty of parking. I highly recommend the place. The people are great the food is not. Portions were 1/3 sized. My son's steak was 1/2 fat and not cooked correctly or seasoned. The other adult with me was so disgusted by their "Sirloin" (aka minute steak) they didn't eat at all. The staff is exceptional. They remember your favorite items if you're a regular, fast, friendly and welcoming. This is how EVERY restaurant should be run. Always clean, the food is fresh and flavorful. I drive 30 minutes to this one rather than the closer one because it's not just the food, it's the people. A+++ read more

The best salad bar in Hampton Rhodes It has such a judge combination of so many fixings you can add to your salad.

The restaurant serves decent food, but there is a problem with consistency. Occasionally, we've ordered the same exact dish and portions are not the same ...huh? However, if you have a tight budget or, like us, you'd like to not drop $100 for a meal for a couple, you can't beat the bargains that they offer, especially through their app. This past Sunday, for example , they once again had a BOGO for any entrée! My wife and I walked away with only $25 taken away from my wallet and that included a 17% tip! And my wife commented that the salmon was perfectly cooked to a medium to medium rare temperature. The salad bar is always consistent. And they have really great daily specials. But again, the trade-off is service. Haylee has been consistently good in serving us in the past but others just do not have the same level of attention or quite late getting back to check our refill our drinks. That needs some attention. Overall, I think we'll be going back again, but perhaps this review would gone or some attention from their management. read more

This place is terrible. I pointed to the ribs on the menu, asked for 2 orders with baked potatoes and onion rings. She brought my to go boxes and there were no potatoes, She corrected this and I returned home with everything. On opening the plate there er NO RIBS...just 6 pieces of meat covered in sauce that were so tough and dry they were inedible. There were no ribs, only dry meat. I managed to eat 2 of the 6. First of all, they had one waitress for the entire restaurant. 4 people in there to work this location Boyfriend loved the ribs and cookie dessert with ice cream I got the salmon and it had bones in it. South Suffolk location near Obici Hospital is open and running with good management, staff, service, and food. Everything was neat and clean, bright and cheery. My wife's pasta dish and my steak were cooked as requested and presented in an appetizing way. Night and day compared to now closed College Drive, North Suffolk store. read more

We came here for Mother's Day. Several members of my family called to make reservations, but the person who picked up the phone said that they didn't make reservations. Fast forward to Mother's Day. We arrive and it's a long wait. We see a sign that says "Reservations always accepted!" The manager apologized and said she was doing the best she could. There was a pile of puke immediately outside the entrance and a pile of puke beside one of the outside benches. I went to use the bathroom and the handle to turn on the sink had puke on it. We get seated and there are empty tables EVERYWHERE. (I think there could have been a staffing concern?) The server we had was very nice and did a great job. Went in to try the Thursday lunch special....ULTIMATE CHICKEN SANDWICH. When I entered I was greeted almost instantly. I am on crutches and the host was very Sweet about assisting me to my seat. The waitress approach a table almost instantly and I already knew what drinks and entree I wanted. I ordered the raspberry lemonade and when it arrived from the bar it was beyond tart and undrinkable. I advised My very helpful waitress and she went back to the bar and the bartender remade it instantly. The replaced lemonade was unbelievably good with the right amount of tartness and sweetness. I also had the salad bar which this is my first time having a buffet style entree since COVID. However they have hand sanitizer and gloves to get your salad which was definitely appreciated. When my food came it was piping hot and very delicious. It was the best $6.99 I've spent in a very very very long time. I encourage people to check out Ruby Tuesday's lunch specials during the week as you will be pleasantly surprised and when everything is so costly will appreciate the pricing. Hmm Ruby Tuesday I really like you guys but idk about your curbside.i honestly didn't know it's not like other locations where they bring it to the car or have an area at the door. And you don't have to go in the restaurant. They want you to go to the bar. Lucky the staff is amazing so the new trainee Ashley was super helpful, I explained to her I just got off work, picked up my kid and I just hadn't plan to have to take her out the car seat and deal with her running around the store while trying to get a curbside to go order. She helps me so I didn't have to take her out the car. I'm so Thankful!!! Wow! What's happened to this restaurant? Are they under new management? Service is slow, prices have jumped up, food was cold when we finally got it. It took over 15 minutes for someone to take our drink order. We ordered our food at the same time. It took almost 40 minutes for our food to come. The waitress is always great. The food is overpriced compared to other similar restaurants and the food is not very good. We went one night and got the sweet tea glazed chicken as an appetizer to try. It was amazing. The rest of the food was poor to average including some avocado chicken, bacon sandwich. I asked for hush puppies instead of fries. We decided to go back to get just the sweet tea glazed chicken and on the second visit, they just tasted like chicken. It was very disappointing. I may go back and ask them next time to cook a bit longer or I may not go back because it is so expensive for subpar food. read more

The only reason there is any stars is because Hayley was an amazing server . But the food was absolutely disgusting. I had the steak and ribs with mashed potatoes. The potatoes had a film on top and had no flavor reminded me of powdered mashed. The steak had zero seasoning and mainly fat . So bland even the steak sauce didn't help . The ribs which were bbq tasted like the bbq had been sitting out for 3 weeks . They were tender I'll give you that . My boyfriend had the captains platter he could barley bite the shrimp and the fries were ice cold . The calamari was over cooked . We ordered the stuffed mushrooms $10.99 for 5 mushrooms ! Disgusting carpeting emitting foul odor. Every seat in the place needs to be replaced because they are ripped and torn and deflated cushions. Employees are wonderful and did a great job. OSHA needs to protect these precious employees because they have respiratory problems working in these conditions. Someone also should call the department of health. We came here because it was late and we didn't know the area. Reading the past reviews I expected to see bad service and BAM we got it. We were seated in a corner and our waiter was watching two tables right next to us. Our drinks went empty and sitting on the edge of our table and even though he walked next to us over and over our drink stayed empty. We asked twice and he said he would bring them twice and we never got them. I ended up waking to the bar and asking for the manager. HE then made our drinks and handed them to Our waiter to bring to us. Our food was good, one of the best times I have seen a salad bar in Ruby Tuesday's. And the host at the door was quick to help me answer my issues. But the issue was that no one payed attention to us. Our food went to a different table the ours and in the end even though we waved them down for our check we ended up standing up and heading to the door. I asked the host to get our check to us quickly or we were leaving. THEN they rushed to get us something. Today, was my first time at this restaurant I arrived at 3:10pm and I won't be returning. First, I had this server that sat my son and I at the table was our server Jason P he asked were ready to order I ask for a couple minutes I ask for water than it a while before he came back it was not until I looked over the booth for him to come over and take our order I got the salad bar and my son got a kids dinner. The server then came back to get the order and put it in at 3:27pm I went to the bar to get a salad and went back to sit didn't get much due to the limited items on the bar not much to choose from and they where out of a few things as well I made due with what they had. My son got his food a little after I was almost done with my salad keep in mind no one is in this restaurant at the time we didn't get refills on our drinks the service was just bad all together. When it came time for the check the server came back and try to charge me $12.49 for salad bar when the price was $7.99 for 4pm I won't sure why he charged me that so I asked him and he made a face and smacked him mouth as if he was annoyed with me asking since I was there before 4pm so than he came back with my manger had to take it off he said only this time since you didn't make the cut off time, so I than asked him what was the cut off time and it was 4pm, already knew what it was because I checked before I went into the place and placed my order before 4pm. I then started to pay for the check as the server was standing over my shoulder watching me and I put no tip he then got upset and said "oh really ok well" then walked away. The appetizer was the triple combo with the spinach artichoke dip the pretzel and cheese dip and the salsa. It was great. Our waitress, Casey, was wonderful, and our drinks (coke and Unsweetened tea) were great. But our main meals were completely flavorless. We both had the 12 oz ribeye. No flavor whatsoever. I had a baked potato with butter and sour cream and broccoli they were so so. My husband had loaded mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese were equally flavorless, and the potatoes didn't even taste like they'd had any salt added to them at all. If it weren't for the bacon, one wouldn't have known what they were eating. I find it difficult to find that staples like this could be so bland, but yet they were.
