The kids' meals are a good value, they include a main and beverage and then everyone gets self serve soft serve ice cream included with their meals. Service is really kind of minimal. You order at a counter and pay there. Then you pick up salad plates (if you ordered salad bar) and get your drinks at the self serve beverage bar. After you seat yourselves they bring your prepared meals to you. Everything was good. Nothing was over the top great; but for what it is, it works! My husband ordered the baked potato soup and described it as, "more potatoey than soupy." When I looked in the cup there were many chucks of potato and little soup in it. I ordered the Key West chicken and shrimp which came over a good buttery rice pilaf (not dried out & hard as some places can serve it as a base for meats) & chose the southern green beans and steamed broccoli as my sides. The dish surprisingly came with a bourbon sauce. That's not in the description but if you look closely at the menu picture it's in the background. I'm not sure how some pineapple pico makes it a Key West dish but oh well...I didn't use it. A citrus Key lime sauce might be better suited. I like the dish without the sauce. The chicken was juicy & cooked perfectly. I didn't really eat the pico de gallo and pushed it to the side. The shrimp were slightly overcooked but tasty. The green beans & broccoli were seasoned well and not overcooked. My husband ordered the bacon cheeseburger MW. When it 1st came out it was definitely under M. He said it was raw lol but I won't go that far. He re-ordered it as well done to be sure. It took a while for the burger to come back out and it came without the bacon but the bartender went and got it for him as she forgot to ring the 2nd order in correctly. However, one employee single-handedly ruined the reputation of this establishment for me. My mother and I have frequented this place for about a year now. They've always had phenomenal customer service and food. However, yesterday when we pulled up to the drive-thru, we were immediately assaulted by the strongest weed scent that we have ever smelled off of one singular person before. In layman terms, the drive-thru worker stank. Badly. When my mother points out how overwhelming the aroma of weed is, instead of being apologetic, the drive-thru worker immediately gets defensive (as all junkies in denial do) and proceeds to call my mom and I quote a "f*ckin idiot". The worker also claimed that she had cancer and was using the herb for medicinal reasons. As paying customers, we have every right to a refund and yet this woman initially denied me one, claiming that they "didn't do" refunds. To make matters worse, she took my card to the back of the restaurant instead of returning it to me, which I did not appreciate at all, as I have no way of knowing whether she took a quick snapshot or not. Magically, she could suddenly do refunds when I threatened to call police. She also mentioned that she would make up some fabrication to the police and accuse us of trespassing when, in actuality, we were simply trying to order. As far as the cancer claim, due to her willingness to lie about not being able to give me a refund and about us "trespassing", I am not fully convinced that this woman is not just another pothead lying to justify her addiction.
