Barely 1 star. Horrible service. 20 minutes after my husband and I got our food, our kids got theirs. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!

On Oct 20 2019 Myself,wife,mother and 3 other family members went to this location after viewing my fathers body at Thompson Funeral Home. Upon entering we were told the wait was about 10 mins later we were told 5 to 7 mins after a long wait I ask what was going on. Then I was told the waiter for that table was stressed out, and it would be another 30 mins. At that I said no forget it and we left. We watched people come in and get seated during the hold ordeal. When I was telling this story to another family member later, she stated that sort of thing happens in Orangeburg meaning we were White and those that got seated were black ! Stay away. Understaffed. Poor service. Steak not cooked correctly and when done it was tough. Second bad experience here.

This might have been the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. Our waiter was, at best, clueless. He was extraordinarily terrible. I don't even know where to start. We waited forever for him and finally had to ask the hostess if anyone knew we were there...then we waited some more. The drinks and food came out at random times, often wrong and he just stared blankly when we asked for whatever was missing/wrong. At one point, while we were waiting (and waiting) for our food, he stopped at our table and asked how everything was. We didn't have anything! I'm just skimming the surface of how bad it was - and the two tables closest to us had the same experience that we did. One guy behind us was given a bowl of soup with a fork. If we hadn't been so hungry, it would have been comical. Don't go to this restaurant unless you have all day to wait and you're not hungry. read more

Sitting here waiting for what should be service but I must be invisible to them no one is asking me if I need anything. Waiting to get seated was the same. I will pay for the beer and then go somewhere else for food won't be back. Wow wait I was just asked in I need anything... but I know it will take way to long so time to leave. read more

Waited 50 minutes to be served and only after a trip back to the kitchen. When the food finally came it was cold. Manager Tony was supposed to come apologize but we never saw him. The wsitress did her best and was polite. read more

We stopped here on our way down to Florida. We were seated right away- but in the bar area (even though there were plenty of seating in the main dining area). They sat us in a booth closest to the kitchen doors- which needed some WD-40. Talk about annoying. From where we sat we pretty much had full exposure to the unprofessional wait staff. Some examples include: the waitress bickering with the bartender about being too slow, a busboy grinding on a waitress as they walked back into the kitchen, a lot of loud and unprofessional language, a waiter shouting about his tips, another rapping and another cursing loudly. All of this happening out on the floor. The walls of our booth were dirty (grease?) and the lamp above us was disgustingly dirty as well. We waited about 10 minutes for service and another 10 to get our drinks. I'd give it one star but the salad bar was good. read more

Waitress was great. Kitchen seems disorganized, my family's meals came out, then 10 minutes later my meal came out missing a side item. Bathroom smelled of old urine, as in, urine that has lingered around on the walls or floors for weeks or months and has not been cleaned up. Bathrooms were visibly disgustingly filthy. Floors unwashed. Walls and stalls smeared and dirty. Dining area appeared tidy but there were fingerprints smeared on the woodwork everywhere, dust, and general filth on the wallpaper. The place needs to be CLEANED deeply and thoroughly. Additionally, my husband and I both suffered from diarrhea the following morning after having lunch at this Ruby Tuesday. Coincidence? I think not. I never get diarrhea and this is the only common denominator. The food was bland but okay. read more

Dinner tonight was good however service was terrible. I ordered an appetizer and the waitress never put it in. She never stopped by to check on our table during the meal and it took her forever to bring us our checks. read more

No onions or croutons on the salad bar. They're known for the croutons and delicious salad bar. This wasn't mentioned when we ordered the bar with our meals. No consideration was given when we asked about it. They were sorry. Really? The rest of our food was good. read more

Ordered salad bar with the mini cheeseburgers. We ate our salads and it was over 30 minutes before the sliders finally arrived. Definitely didn't check Yelp reviews before we came but certainly will before/if we ever come back. read more

Avoid this place if possible. Food was terrible and took 40 minutes, salad bar was old, waitress was unprofessional, walked into a waitress complaining to the host that he seated her section. Save your money, no one working here cares about anything. read more

Service not good (slow), food was terrible (buffalo chicken had a fish taste, must have been cooked in same oil/cheese sticks minus marinara sauce, then when received looked like salsa/salad bar had not been refreshed in awhile). My family and I went here and was not pleased with the our decision at all. We arrived about 1hour and 45 minutes prior to closing and was not able to get most of the items we tried to order off of the menu. Although the waitress tried to accommodate us the best she could under the circumstances we were not pleased at all. I will not be in a rush to visit any other Ruby Tuesday's in the near future. read more

I only visit this restaurant once per year and this visit was pleasant. The food was good and the salad bar wonderful. The service was just OK considering that we had a large group with separate checks. read more

We always eat here on our way South every year. Over the years the service has become intolerable. Nobody smiles; waitstaff acts like they don't want to be there. Our order was wrong and we had to wait for them to cook the shrimp that was supposed to be on top of the steak. By the time it came out, the steak was cold; then we had to ask twice for utensils. Waitress didn't bother to ask if we wanted steak sauce or ketchup for our steaks. Whenever we flagged her down for something, she would leave and be gone for a good while. While we were waiting for our check, I looked up and she was in the lobby playing with someone's baby. To add insult to injury, the check "recommended" a 15-20% tip "based on the price of your meal". What?!! Never coming back. Too bad for the surrounding hotels. I bet a lot of people like us will just drive on further before stopping for the night. read more

OK it's Ruby Tuesdays. What did you expect? Great food? No it's a chain. The recipes are developed in a lab. You can get a good meal but not a great meal. There are options for a low calorie meal also. BUT you can't get an alcoholic drink on Sunday in this county. Hope you really wanted ice tea! read more

We ate at the Orangeburg Ruby Tuesday on January 27, The food was good and our server , John was delightful. He made sure that everything was just as we wanted it. My husband, myself and our granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Loved the salad bar too. We will definitely be returning. read more

I've been to many Ruby Tuesday's over the years and have never had such terrible service. We waited less than the 10 minutes to get a seat, which is why I'm ok with giving one star. We were seated, a server took our drink orders, and we waited. Got the kids' drinks from a different server about 5 minutes later. We had to wait on our drinks because there weren't any clean cups. She then asked for our orders. We ordered an app, then she asked for our entree orders. Two adults and three kids and she didn't write anything down. (Also contributes to one star) So then we waited. 10 minutes later our app came (cheese and tortilla chips). Then the two kids' meals (pizzas). No silverware or napkins. I asked for them. Then we waited. 5 minutes, 10 minutes. I asked a different server. Then we waited for 5 more minutes. I went and looked for some, asked another person and they promised to bring them out. Then we waited. The kids had finished their pizzas. A different server gave us napkins. Our food came out, no silverware, no drink refills. I asked for silverware and was told it would be right out. Another server walked by and I asked for a manager. A few minutes later, three people showed up with silverware. Then the manager comes to the table, I tell him what was going on, and he honestly acted like he didn't know what to do. He offered to get us drink refills and then said he'd give us a dessert. I told him no thanks, we would just like drinks and our food and we'd pay for it. He just needed to train his people better. Then he disappears. No apologies from anyone. Even after we got the check. Unless you have abnormally low blood pressure and enjoy eating without utensils, I would recommend finding somewhere else to eat. read more

We called on Sunday March 8,2016 which was Mothers Day and ask to make reservations but was told did not make them on Mothers Day; however, when we got there around 6:00 pm was told it would be about 15 mins. People started to go out and other people were going in but us, so we asked about a table was empty and we were told it was reserved. The setting staff was very rude and laughed and waived by. I would give 0 stars if I could. This place was a joke! Never given any silverware we had to go find them off another table. My husband ordered chicken Bella which has portobello mushrooms, dinner arrived with no mushrooms just chicken and artichoke. When confronted the waitress said oh and wondered off into the kitchen then 4-5 mins later came back said oh ok so we're out of mushrooms. Normal service that item would be taken off the menu and rejected at the kitchen if it did come through but instead they made without one of the main items! When speaking to the manager he said yeah the waitress knew we were out. Well maybe some retraining of waitress and kitchen staff. He did remove the item from the bill but wtf are we suppose to do when 2 out of 3 persons have a dinner. As soon as the manager finished speaking with us he had to tell the table next to us no napkins you get paper towels, the table behind us also spoke to them because they never got waited on. When we were leaving there was another customer complaining to the manager. Geez we were only there an hour and 4 complaints! Who the heck is running this place? Are they asleep?
