Awful. Saw we site with order online. Thought the menu looked good. Ordered "our most popular" sandwich. Meat smelled off...dog ate it. When I showed up at my appointed time for my delivery nobody knew what I ordered beside the sandwich, nothing was ready, They didn't have the cookies I had ordered and paid for, The drinks had no ice in them. It's really really pathetic for the fact that there were 4 or 5 ladies standing around chatting behind the register. As my husband said ...that was a once and done. Very disappointed. Very nice polite service but absolutely horrible food quality and another example of a good original business once upon a time in Columbia franchising out for growth and not ensuring quality of product, hence tarnishing the over brand reputation. During lunch with very few customers they said they ran out of potato salad. No excuse for that. The bread tasted stale and totally hardened and dried out, the meat was way overcooked and dried out to a point that it had no taste or flavor, just shriveled presumably in the microwave, and the cheese was way too hot probably overcooked as well. In general I think the cheese quality and taste is one of the biggest weaknesses at any grouchos branch. I would not return to this branch again. Such a big disappointment and waste of money on inedible disappointing food. read more

The nicest, most courteous waitress in Orangeburg. Very helpful and knowledgable about the menu. I was that impressed. The three of us had subs. Fresh bread, mine had Turkey and roast beef with swiss cheese melted over it. No need to add all kinds of other things to give it flavor, it had plenty of flavor by itself. Great new addition to the 'Burg. Food is always delicious and a generous portion at a good price. The My Wife's Salad is the best salad ever! Fresh vegetables, the best bacon and tons of cheese. Service is getting better as the waitresses gain more experience and they are always friendly. We visit here at least once a week for lunch and there's always a good crowd. Keep it up Groucho's, Orangeburg needs great places like you! read more
