Orangeburg SC. Not good! This is a train wreck. It either needs to undergo new management or these doors should be shut! There was plenty of staff there, but very few there to help. They act as if they don't even see you. Twenty minutes just to be acknowledged. Then when you are, you try to get it all in at one time because you don't know when you'll be acknowledged again. So be ready to order food when you order drink. And when you get their attention just to cash out, have payment ready at the same time. The worst is, the manager was there, but not managing anything or anyone. Food, don't get peppercorn Asiago sirloin, it won't have any peppercorn & the sides are very small portions. Ordered two, both well done, mine was okay, my husband's was pink inside, but we weren't saying anything. We could not get out fast enough. So, in a nut shell, you will not be over-served or over fed, that's for sure. If you plan on being underserved in every way, you'll be okay. I have always had great service here. Always. They waiters that I have had must be the best because I have never had reason to complain. I am surprised they have gotten such spotty reviews in our Yelp community. It is chain food but hey it is what it is. I had the salmon and it was wonderful. On a plank, hot and seasoned well. Veggies were bland as heck and I had to actually add salt. They were not blanched that well either. I can give them 3 stars because the salad bar was always clean and my food was good. But service was always spot on. I hope it gets more consistent. read more

Seated right away which was nice, but had to wait some time for a waitress. When she finally arrived, she was apathetic at best. We decided on soup and the salad bar. The soup was decent but the salad bar left a lot to be desired. With the only available protein being some kind of mystery meat. Maybe ham? And at $10.99 it was way over priced. Well was here on 3/2/16 and service was great by Kadhij G. She did an excellent job and when mentioned items missing off salad bar she addressed it. She did inform the items I wanted we were out but cane up with a couple suggestions to replace The salad bar experience overall could have been better. Looked very picked over but could have been due to go through the salad bar around 9:00 pm. Was out of Waldorf salad and no more was in the back of he house due to someone not making it right so None to stock with. Also no black bread croutons, my favorite addition to any salad! Salmon was perfectly cooked and still the right amount if under doneness. Seemed to Be over seasoned and was dark in color due to the large amount of seasoning applied 3/3/16 Tonight i am having the same and so far the salad bar is much better stoked but it is closer to 7:00 pm. Tonight they are not out of anything and trying the bourbon salmon this time instead of the grilled seasoned salmon. The salmon again was cooked extremely well. I went with my two boys for a lunch date. We were seated quickly.Our waitress, Rachael was very nice and the food was good. I had a chicken sandwhich that had peppers and cheese on it. I enjoyed my vegetable trio platter which came with a choice of salad or soup. I'm not a great fan of a salad bar because of the lack of hygiene associated with it and as regards to soup I enjoy vegetable soups much more than non vegetable soups so I opted out of both options. I decided instead to get a another set of sides of steamed veggies. On getting my bill I realized I wasn't charged for the extra sides and pointed that out to Rachel who served me at the bar. She said she thought it wouldn't be right to charge for the sides when I didn't get the side salad or soup. The previous reviews were spot on. The food was fine. Standard Ruby Tuesday stuff, not great but not bad. You know what you are getting before you go. The service however, is atrocious. I sat at the bar which had more than 12 seats for patrons. While I was there they were between three and five people, including myself, at the bar the entire time. It took forever to place a drink, water or a food order. The bartender for the most part ignored us to make drinks in a corner by where the staff likes to talk. And restaurant business was conducted in front of patrons at the bar. I was in the middle discussions about who was going home early, what time shift change was, who is coming in, and how they were splitting the tips. That meant I was often within arms reach of three or four waitresses and yet had trouble placing a food or drink order. read more

I have given this restaurant the benefit of the doubt several times but the last time that I decided to dine there did them in. They bought me a completely cold rack of ribs. Then to add insult to injury they returned with a rack of ribs that dry and didn't have very much meat on the bones. I will not ever eat there again. Two stars are for the manager who assisted and the food wasn't truly terrible. With that said, our waitress was absolutely horrific. She reapproached the table three times to seek order information because she failed to write them down. After that, I still did not receive my side I had ordered, even though she asked me an additional time. When she finally came back to the table she only chose to drop a check instead of refreshing beverages or asking if everything came out ok. Great experience!!! I'm a coach and I took 9 wrestlers in on a Saturday around 5:30. We were greeted by multiple ppl, the hosts took only seconds to figure out our seating arrangement and were super polite. Mo-mo was our server and she was absolute great. Drinks were never empty, ticket time was around 20 min for an unexpected party of 10 athletes. ZERO COMPLAINTS from the kids! The reason I took a star off is because another employee interrupted Mo-mo in the middle of her distributing our plates to let her know there was a possible problem with a cash-out, and she had to obviously reply to that server and let him know she had to finish what she was doing before she could handle his query. She was great! And I understand the other servers urgency about their cash-out query, but the business has to stay with the staff so the customers can only know about THE EXPERIENCE! Service was good.... very nice waitress and bartender. I ordered the pork carnitas burrito. It took an hour to get and it was so bad. The menu picture showed it with jalapeños, sour cream, pico and queso on top. The plate came out with the burrito, a small amount of queso on top and some dry tortilla chips. I'm not sure what the chips were for because there was nothing to put on them. There was no pico, no jalapeños, no sour cream, no garnish at all. The waitress did bring me small plastic containers of each after the fact. She didn't bring the food out, so I'm sure she didn't know it wasn't on the burrito until she looked. The inside was filled with almost all rice. The small amount of pork was those dry, hard pieces that have sat out all day. Just horrible. read more

This was the filthiest Ruby Tuesday's, nay restaurant, I have ever been to in my life! Stopped in with the family on my way back from FL and this exit is about the only place to stop and get a meal between Charleston and Columbia. Note to self, next time keep driving! When we drove up there was a server and a cook sitting outside in the parking lot smoking a cigarette with their aprons on. This always bugs me because you have to wonder if they wash up before going back to handling food and I can guarantee they don't switch aprons. Bathrooms smelled like urine and the female bathroom according to sweetie and my kids had not been cleaned in a few days. There were multiple tables in the place that were dirty or not bussed upon entry. The lady sitting us even pointed them out and said she was going to have to search for a clean table. When we were sat at a table by the window we were forced to have to stare at 2 dirty tables the entire meal. Our server, yep you guessed it was the one sitting outside in the parking lot and nothing is more gross than smelling cigarette smoke on your server. The blinds on the window were so caked up with dust I don't think they've been cleaned in years. There was no visible management and obviously if there were they weren't doing their job. It was about 2 - 3 in the afternoon so they weren't busy so all of the above is inexcusable. We are big fans of RT's and have been for 20+ years. They have been a tradtional resting place for my family to get a good meal while on the road for family vacations and weekends out. RT's always has consistantly fresh, healthy, good food in the right portions and their salad bar rocks!! In fact I can honestly say I have never been to one I did not like...until this one! This one stinks !! literally for 2 big reasons... Terrible Service and Filthy,Smelly Bathrooms. We have stopped here twice in the last 12 months and the first time I thought it was just a fluke, but the second time around told me that this place is just bad and is doing the chain a big disservice, they should shape up and train their staff to treat their customers as welcomed guests and clean their bathrooms regularly, several times per day, not just once. First: The food and sald bar was good, but we sat for at least 13 mintues after being seated before any one came up to give us a menu or pour our water, and then there was several occasions when we wanted to have our glasses filled and were walked right by as if we weren't there by our own waitress and other staff, one carrying a water pitcher, with no appearance as if they cared if we needed anything.The place was not that busy, 2-3 tables only filled on our aisle. The staff needs to be trained to be attentive to their customers. Secondly, as we left both my wife and I went to use the restrooms with our kids and we both came out very digusted with the filthiness of the bathrooms and once we left I read on Yelp other complaints of the BRs at this place, so not just for our 2 visits but others also. Just so surprising for a place like RT's and, as I said, this was the second time we have experienced these conditions at this one restaurant. We asked for beefeater gin and the server was told by her boss that they have just regular gin. What does that mean? The salad bar was an absolute disgusting mess! I have had good experiences with Ruby Tuesday but not this time. The manager was on his phone while customers around us were sending food back. We were actually group #3 at the door. Folks ahead of us seemed irate, but we stuck it out. They were seated and so were we, but it was a long wait and it was awkward. We waited forever for water. None of the staff was real motivated. Food arrived. cold. fish. cold. fries. cold. soup... cold. you get the idea. We overheard the table behind us complain about their appetizer. We ordered 2 coffees to go. warm...closer to room temp than hot. I saw the manager work. Well, he walked a little...not much more motivated than the staff. I peeked into the kitchen...trashed. 5 people standing around. I asked for ketchup...server returned with the packets and explained that they were out of bottles. The bill came. She apologized for no "little black book thing" that holds the bill. I've worked in food service. I've travelled the world, seen all kinds of food and service.
