It barely caught anything we ordered and despite the fact that the cashiers are supposed to be listening, they very clearly weren't when we were trying to correct our order. I'm sure this concept is supposed to make things more efficient but it's not and it's annoying for the customer. Not to mention the attitude of the cashier. Rude, Unprofessional, Racist We went thru the drive thru and placed our order. I had to repeat the order several times and she still had it wrong when we got to the window. So I repeated it again and she seemed to be made at me because she was a bad listener. She extended one hand to give me a drink so I put my money on her counter. She then told me to pickup the money and put it in her hand. She repeated herself then turned around to her coworkers and said the same thing along with some other racial comments. I told her that I would have put the money in her hand if she had put out her hand to receive it but I am not going to pick it up off of your counter and do it now. Decent Bojangles location. Tried them while passing through in route to Columbia. The register lady wasn't overly pleasant - no "welcome", just "dine in or carry out" - and she was apparently the shift manager. The restaurant was clean (basically empty) and in good condition. Tried their chicken strip combo with dirty rice and a biscuit, which was just over $7 (good price for the amount of food). The highlight of the dish for me was the dirty rice. I could've eaten a bowl of that and been happy. The strips were average; kind of like frozen home-cooked bag chicken and weren't very warm. The strips were supposed to be spicy, but I didn't taste it. The ranch and Bojangles (horseradish) dipping sauces made it better. The biscuit was nice and flaky, but had a bit of a fake butter flavor to it. Overall a good meal at a good price, but nothing I'd go out of my way to get again. read more

I've heard about the Southern Popeyes dupe for sometime now. They are know for their biscuits. They have a plethora of locations throughout the South. I happened to eat at a location in Orangeburg, South Carolina. We had a large crowd and the staff was able to accommodate swiftly and efficiently. Dining area was spacious and clean. The chicken was spicy and tasty. I really liked the fries and the coleslaw had a sweet twang to it. However, I can tell the food was sitting a bit and wasn't that hot. I'm glad I was able to finally experience Bojangles but I'd prefer to stick with Popeyes Chicken. read more

For the price, you get some good food. This location didn't live up to the Bojangles standard if you ask my opinion. The Bojangles standard ain't even that high and this location flunked. Visited the drive through for Sunday breakfast. The low 2-star score is due to the limited menu that wasn't kid friendly, the poor service and the blatant lack of respect for Coronavirus safety. To start with the menu, they only offered Cajun chicken for their chicken biscuits. My wife and daughter wanted plain chicken and was forced to the strongly flavored, slightly spicy Cajun chicken. The Cajun seasoning is rough for kids, but luckily my daughter was able to choke it down. In terms of service, I ordered biscuit with sausage gravy, which they gave me without a fork! I learned once we were on the highway, but luckily had an extra fork in our glovebox. I should have double checked since the worker at the window kept yelling "is this order good?" instead of actually checking the order herself. Finally, our visit was in the Fall season of Coronavirus when cases are risking and nobody was wearing a mask. They didn't just have the masks pulled down, they were non-existent for all employees we could see! In terms of food quality, it was average. The Cajun chicken has a nice flavor, if you are in mood for Cajun spice. It would have been better with some pickle chips, and maybe even some Mayo. It was a little on dry side. WHAT A MESS! Tiffany took our order and knew what she was doing but once we put our card to pay she just walked away and started filling food up for someone else. When we entered in, it seemed like a "typical" Bojangles- moderately busy for 10 am, older people quietly enjoying their fried feast, and the beautiful aroma of fried chicken and potatoes. Overall the service was mediocre- ordering was pleasant but any time we asked for something it seemed to be an inconvenience... Tea and fries were fresh but the chicken seemed like they had been sitting for a bit (trust me on this- I know my Bo chicken). My bathroom visit was pleasant- about what you would expect for a Bojangles, although my friends said the guys bathroom had a significant amount of water under the urinals. read more

Immediately I think of other places I could have spent my money for something better. Just comes down to a lack of consistency amongst stores. Very hungry and looking forward to our meal until I saw the individual preparing/assembling the food wearing --and his face mask that was pulled down and effectively only conceding his chin and leaving mouth and nose exposed. Place was a zoo of people but after a half hour here it became obvious is was an output issue not a matter of many people showed up at once. The manager does 50+% of the work while the young staff either stands there doing nothing or run back and forth directionless. They were nice enough but man - how about some training? Once we got the wrap (after going back up twice) the cheese on the salad had actually melted and the fries were now stone cold. When we asked for some fresh fries we then got another stone cold sack that was sitting at the drive up window (as if forgotten in a previous order).
