Food is pretty good!…read more Stopped by on a whim and.... Not bad! It's in the back of a convenience store and the lady that's working there is really cool cause she's a COWBOYS fan! The food looks buffet style but it's not and it's all hot. There's certain dishes that are only there on certain days so I got chicken, corn on the cob, and green beans. All of it was good. The only thing it's lacking is a place to sit and eat. This is more of a takeout spot. Not a big deal.... If I'm back that way I will hit them up.

Yall. When I tell…read moreyou this is hands down THE BEST fried chicken I've had in probably 7-8 years? I'm from South Mississippi and KNOW me some fried chicken, frfr. This place had me hootin and hollerin this afternoon. The workers made me feel right at home like it was meant to be. I don't know anyone here in Columbia and am just getting to know the area and got recommended. We have a place in my hometown called Hartz Chicken and this rivals it (never thought I'd say it). The entire vibe was giving blue collar worker, families, hard working professionals, my white tail, and all in between. If you haven't gone in here, you're wrong for that. I WILL be back, trust and believe that. Thank you to everyone at Bernie's for being so kind to me and welcoming me not only to South Carolina but to this gem of an eatery.

The customer service here is so unprofessional. Today, while my husband was waiting to place his order, there was the general manager, cashier and another employee. It took someone in the back fixing orders to yell out and say that guy had been standing there waiting to place his order for them to service him. No apologies or anything! So, customer service was totally bad. The food was just okay. We ordered the 1/4 lb Popcorn Shrimp with Cajun Fries, a biscuit, unsweetened tea and the Caramel Apple Cheesecake Cup.
