We hit Ruby Tuesdays at an odd time - half way between lunch and dinner. The place had a couple large groups that our waitress had to service. The facility has some age but was clean and orderly. There is plenty of seating for large parties. The environment is very comfortable. The salad bar is always an attraction for us. Everything was fresh and clean. Plenty of standard items to choose from for a normal salad. On two occasions we had to ask the staff to refill the items on the salad bar. Our waiter was pulled in lots of directions. He did his best to manage the three large parties he had. It was disappointing that the manager and/or another person didn't step up to help this guy. read more

I walked into Ruby Tuesday with hope. I walked out $75 poorer, still hungry, and questioning my life choices. The steak was so thin it could've been used as a bookmark, the ribs had less meat than a Slim Jim and were tougher than a phone book--I literally had to rip them in half. Dessert showed up early like an overeager party guest, ice cream already melting with shame before I was even done with my entrée. Solid 2/10. Dana the server was sweet, but the kitchen and management should be put in time out. The cushions also had cracks in them. The Salad Bar is my draw! It's always fresh and well stocked. But entrees are another story. I used to get the Bourbon Salmon as pictured. As pictured on the menu it looks succulent and moist. But for months it is burnt top and bottom. It has been a long while since I ordered the entree but I was with friends and one ordered the salmon also. My Friend is not one to complain so I decided to keep silent about our dislike. I am tired of getting entrees here and it being subpar. I don't know how the cook could visually accept this as acceptable. Boggles the mind really. Managers need to get on the problems in the kitchen. I know complaining helps them monitor issues but I have a job and don't need another job complaining about the food. I just want to get dinner. Wish I had taken a picture. I was always a fan of Ruby Tuesday because they had a salad bar, but during my last visit they didn't have diced eggs on the salad bar and I asked they why not and they said it was a cost issue. Are you fricken kidding me, I guarantee a tub of diced up bacon cost a lot more than some diced up eggs. Total BS reason for not having they. I typically have a burger or something during my visits but I was felling pretty hungry on my last visit so I tried the full slab of ribs. They were cooked but not very well and were very tough to eat. With the knife they gave me a had a hard time trying to cut the meat off the bones. So I bought them home and used a good knife to cut them off the bones. It was definitely undercooked. If I go back I won't be eating the salad bar unless they add eggs back to it, and I don't recommend the ribs. read more

Nice casual place for a quick dinner! We went on a Friday evening and the restaurant was busy but it was easy to get a table. The Hickory Bourbon Salmon with zucchini and rice pilaf was cooked perfectly. It was the main reason we selected Ruby Tuesdays for dinner and why I am writing this review. It was fantastic! Our server, Brady, was helpful with our orders and stayed on top of drink refills. He was patient with splitting ticket orders too. With Brady as your server, you will enjoy the dinner. read more

It's not a wonder this chain is struggling. We ordered our meals, and you could tell our waiter was doing a lot. In fact it looked like he was the only one that was doing anything. 3-5 waitstaff were sitting in booths or near the door dash door. Our table had an issue with the chicken taco's (type dish) it comes out and there was no more that 4 pieces of chicken in the tacos! One had just 2 chunks. When we asked the waiter he was quick to take it away, and he brought it to one of the managers who was sitting watching the basketball game who apparently said, "it's measured out so that's how it comes" as when we're told this we suggest they adjust the name of the dish as it's called a "loaded...item" there was nothing "loaded" about this dish. A small bit of lettuce and a few diced tomatoes were on the side. The table next to us had a problem with the way an item was cooked as well. For some reason they were addressed personally by the manager and even had part of their meal comped. Selective management I guess. My BBQ burger didn't have any bbq on it but our poor waiter was running from one end of the restaurant to the other and was running the bar while everyone else just sat or hung out at the host stand. I had forgotten why I quit going to this restaurant chain, this visit quickly reminded me why. We won't be back! I called and made a reservation for 7 ppl for 5pm. We get there about 5 after 5 and they were not busy but it seems a lot of people got there at once. So I go to the hostess stand and they did not have our table set up. So we had to wait a bit while they were seating other parties to get our table ready. We were waited on quickly and 4 out of the 7 of us got the salad bar. Now the guy doing the salad bar was a rockstar. He was constantly stocking and cleaning up there. The items that were there were fresh and delicious. Now the rest of the food took forever to come out. They said they were waiting for the pot roast. They finally brought the other food out but by the time the pot roast came it looked nothing like the picture. My sister said it was good but I tasted it and it was not great. I love Ruby Tuesdays for the salad bar and it did not disappoint. Service and other food could use improvement. read more

Last evening my husband and I went to our local Ruby Tuesday for the first time in at least two years. We sat at the bar with just one other person. The bartender was obviously new and was studying a screen with drink recipes. He was rather loudly whinging about being too busy. He called for a manager and complained to her that he was behing on four tables and that two people (my husband and I) has just sat at the bar. So, what do you do when the bartender is complaining that you sat at the almost empty bar? You leave. We probably will not be back. read more

I have not been to a Ruby Tuesda for over 30 years , I guess now I know why, after my dialisys treatment my daughter and I decided something different would be nice for dinner About 3;00PM, we went into the dinning room and were sat right away we ordered our meal I ordered ribeye med well and got a small NYStrip cooked med well and very tough and my baked potato was so hard I couldn't cut it with a steak knife, my daughter said her fish was ok nothing special , then the waitress said she's pretty sure my steak was right and looked cooked right but would run it back and have themcook it some more , well you cannot uncook meat of any kind . As we were leaving I noticed stuck on the side of my shoe and look back at our booth and it was NASTY the floors were not at least all day or for many days ad the entry way was worse. guess it will be another 30 plus years before I go back there. read more

Frankly was disappointed. We came out to celebrate a birthday, looked forward to taking family out to dinner. We ordered, we waited close to an hour for the food to be delivered to the table. I ordered my ribeye medium rare, came to the table well done. We ordered 3 ribeyes, all well done. Told the staff about my steak, and the other 2 rib eyes, nothing was done to correct it. Today is Thanksgiving and unfortunately we had to get food delivered. We ordered 2 Asiago Bacon Chickens. I have ordered this multiple times recently so I know what it should look like and what it should have on it. The strips of bacon were replaced by bacon bits! The chicken breasts were so overcooked we could not eat them!! When I called to speak to a Manager, initially I was on hold for 15 minutes! I hung up and called back. I then spoke with a lady that said she is the manager. She advised since it was ordered through Door Dash I would have to contact them. I tried to do so and could not get anywhere. I called the store back and spoke with a man who stated he was the GM. His name was Joe or John. He told me he could look it up but he's too busy and can't help me. Needless to say, we will NOT return! I can deal with less than great food but the rudeness of the GM is completely unacceptable!! read more

I ordered the guacamole burger. I love guacamole but I was very disappointed when my sandwich arrived. My bun didn't get grilled so it just sank to the plate in pieces when I picked it up. I got a generous 1 tsp of guacamole that also fell to my plate because it was soaked into the top bun. Again, I also got a generous 1/2 piece of bacon. Of course, that sank to my plate because it was smashed into the top bun. You know, if the top bun was in that shape, there's no eating the bottom bun. THE WORST PART was that my husband caught the cook and then the manager walk by the heat lights were his side order of French fries were waiting for waitress pick up. The cook was the first one to put his hand in the plate and grab a handful of fries then the manager put her dirty fingers in and stole more fries. What a disgusting place. Between the MFing that all the staff were yelling at each other on the line to the female bartender that never asked how our meal was.. because we would of told her it was burnt. Let's begin with what they got right. The cheddar biscuits were AMAZING! They hit on multiple notes as to flavor. The texture equaled the quality of the flavor. In truth, these were worth the price of the dinner bill. Now the rest of the story. I ordered their sliders. There's a line between charred for sealing and burning the outside. They crossed the line. The burgers were dry and tasteless. The meat to bun ratio was way off making them taste even dryer. The "house sauce" and aged cheddar almost nonexistent. Their craft beer menu showed no imagination and was hum-drum. *Note we went on a Sunday afternoon so we probably had the kitchen "B" team. read more

I've never been to Ruby Tuesdays but came here with my mother and great grandpa. I found it to be very clean and nice on the inside. They have both booth and table seating! We order awesome cheese shrimp dip and it was so yummy! The chips were a bit salty but the dip so good made up for it. Salad bar is simple but fresh and likable. We also ordered the Pumpkin Cheesecake which was amazing! Over all great experience 4 stars because the waitress would never clear our table and she wasn't very good on checking on us and stuff. I'll make this short and sweet. I had a coupon - thank god for that. As someone else mentioned, my goodness gracious this place was a wee bit expensive for the quality of food you received! Sangria: pretty good. There was some weird fruity goop/most likely syrup that made it kinda icky after drinking about half of it Garden bar - looked semi-fresh. Kinda grossed out by what looked like a garden bar that hadn't been cleaned up in a while. Entree - best part of the meal by far. Ordered the spaghetti squash and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely blew my mind. The sauce on the squash was SO. GOOD. Highly recommend it if you're trying to watch your figure or you just want something good to eat. Service - not that great. We had about 6 different people bring various things to our table. I don't even know who my tip went to. Atmosphere - busy. Squished in the restaurant with not a lot of space. Felt like I was eating with the people next to us. Sometimes I don't mind that, but the people sitting next to us were getting a bit unruly and wild so that wasn't the best. It's a chain in Muncie so I wasn't expecting 5-star dining. I think Ruby Tuesday has potential however, it was just a-ok in my book. Took my family of four there for dinner. We had a coupon from the paper worth the price of an entree. Otherwise the food would have been quite expensive. As it was I think we spent around 72 economic stimulus dollars. We were seated right away at about 830 pm on a Friday night. So far so good. The waiter we had was named Jonathan. He was just okay. We had to ask for our rolls, had to remind him to bring refills, and once he poured iced tea into a half full glass of Coke. Then he started saying bad things about himself, how he was a "stupid idiot", but I don't know, it just made me feel bad for him. The salad bar was excellent. They charge a dollar more for it in the evenings and I did not see anything extra on it, so that is kind of a rip off. For the entree, I got the steak/mushroom/pepper with sauce and it was quite good, and cooked as specified. Don't bother getting the blue cheese coleslaw though. I saw them go to the salad bar and get coleslaw and mix it with blue cheese. It is nothing special. Endless french fires--yeah right. You had to keep asking for them, and unless you asked for more, you got the equivalent of one package of ketchup. Who knew ketchup was worth its weight in gold? At least, that is how they served it. The restaurant was clean. They kept the salad bar clean. The bathroom was clean. It wasn't too noisy to carry on a conversation. Never saw a manager--apparently they don't go out into the restaurant and ask how things were like other restaurants do. I did not have any complaints anyway. read more
