The facility has some age but was clean and orderly. There is plenty of seating for large parties. The environment is very comfortable. The salad bar is always an attraction for us. Our waiter was pulled in lots of directions. He did his best to manage the three large parties he had. It was disappointing that the manager and/or another person didn't step up to help this guy.

Tracked down the waitress and she replaced it. My father is a veteran and told the waitress he got a discount. She acknowledged but the receipt did not reflect the discount. Clearly short staffed, and had to get up to find the waitress to request a check and to go box. I get that there are staffing problems but the elderly have difficulty in non air conditioned areas in 80+ temps. Will go back, as this has been one of our favorites for my Dad. Hope the staffing and salad bar issues will be addressed next month.

Do not get me wrong, I love their commercials. But not every location is low performing based on my visit to the Muncie, IN store. The signage is excellent off of McGalliard Rd. There are a few entry ways into the lot. My lunch visit started with easy to find parking in Northwest Plaza and a debris free lot. Also the walk up was clear of trash. A friend and I were immediately greeted and seated in a booth. Not a big lunch crowd, but they had business. My table as well as the adjacent area was clean. Our friendly female waitress took drink orders and provided menus. My friend immediately decided on their special Bourbon burger, I chose the chicken sandwich. I slipped off to wash my hands and the restroom was spic and span with proper supplies. Both plates hit the table in around 20 minutes. Everything was correct and hot. My chicken sandwich with bacon was good, fries tasty. My friend loved his burger and raved! We did get a check in and refill on drinks. Our check was presented in a timely manner and cashed out quickly. Total time was around 50 minutes. That was perfect timing around a planned one hour lunch. I enjoy supporting small businesses. Being gluten-free and dairy-free, I asked them loads of questions about their ingredients, way before they even finished setting up their booth. They even showed me the hot dog package so I could see the ingredients myself. (Note: if you are gluten-free, gluten is masked is lots of other ingredients so you have to be cautious). Their hot dogs did have gluten but they advised me they have walking tacos, which I love and haven't enjoyed in quite a while. They went over the entire list of their walking taco chili ingredients with me and YAY for me, I could indulge! My walking taco included Frito's Corn Chips, Tarp's Chili, and Salsa. Simple ingredients made very tasty. They were very accommodating and super nice ! If I am ever in this area again and happen upon a festival or special event, I would be glad to see them and enjoy their tasty morsels.
