In town for work and I'm glad I found this place! My sandwich and fries were great!! Staff was nice and very welcoming:)

very disappointed in this location. I ordered a chicken parmesan the biggest they make and asked for it to be made a specific way. asked for no onions and or banana peppers or oregano yes got the sandwich home had all 3 items on it. This is the closest location with in 25 miles of me. called up to complain for them to make it right and nothing. I have always had great service at Penn Station but this location I do not trust. I have allergies and have to order my food a certain way. Spent almost $20 to not be able to eat the sandwich. I'm disappointed that I called up 2xs just for them to take my name and number and never call Me back. Will be filing a corporate complaint read more

The food is always fresh! The bread is delicious. The staff always have a smile on and greet customers promptly. They know the local customers and greet them by name! The store is always clean. The floors are mopped and tables cleaned quickly. Great place to eat in Muncie! read more

One of our favorite sandwich places we stopped by for lunch today. Just wanted to leave a review as food was great as usual; but was just impressed the team working. Trenton was on duty and so professional. I just noticed how he took care of customers, quietly greeting, cleaning, looking around to see if there was anything needed. Noticed trash was kind of getting full and went ahead and took it out. Was just impressed with work ethic of Trenton. The whole team working just impressive today. Penn Station, with the funny name (Penn Station is at 34th Street in New York City) and all, has good sandwiches, even though their Philadelphia Cheesesteak recipe needs some fixing to be used in Philly. That would be very basic: roll, steak, cheese, optional onions and ketchup or marinara sauce. If you're at Geno's or Pat's (the places you'll see on TV), you order saying "Provolone wit" for provolone cheese with onions on your steak. After photographing cross country this morning, I needed some place where I could load the files to the computer and let the processing start. I asked if they cared and they had no problem with that. I ordered an Italian Sub without mayonnaise. Once again, in Philly, you specify oil or mayo--they don't use mayo by default. Of course, the tavern ham, genoa salami, and other ingredients probably aren't the same anyway. He asked if I wanted it grilled, and I thought that would be a good change. I like the "toasted" subs at Quizno's, so grilled sounded even better. I also got a small order of fries. Unlike other Penn Station locations, I didn't have to get off the stool to get my order--they brought it to me. However, refilling the iced tea required some leg work--oh, no!! The good thing is that the sandwich and fries were good and the tea wasn't hot, even though it's apparently brewed in the machine. Other places, it can be incredibly hot. I'd never had their fries, and I was concerned that they would be like those from Boardwalk Fries but they were much better. I think the thinner fries cook so much tastier. I finished my food, got 1300+ photo files into the computer, all for a reasonable price. They've got free WiFi but I didn't use it since I wanted to try my Sprint LTE on my mobile hotspot. The staff is so rude, I have been here twice the first time the manager helped me and was awesome! the second time I came he was leaving as I walked in, the staff was so rude to me. wouldn't let me get a word in, I asked for a drink while ordering and she didn't hear me I guess so I asked as I was leaving, snd she replied with you didn't get one, any vinegar or ketchup? ARE YOU KIDDING. it was a girl with dark hair, and she really ruined my experience in all. NOT TO MENTION the coworker and her were talking shit about other coworkers and their work schedule with them. I wouldn't ever recommend to eat here or work here. So disappointed. UPDATE. Had a small fry which was decent amount of fries- somewhat spilled over into bag a la Five Guys style but these were wonderfully fried with lightly crispy outside but not dry at all. I think peanut oil is also to thank for this at Penn Station again similar to Five Guys. I believe a small fry was in the range of $2.50. The cookies I had were large and probably the most moist and chewy chocolate chip treats I've had in years. They are worth the $2.15ish after tax price tag! read more

How could they be out of chicken salad? Wow. They don't have that many menu items, right? I'm shocked. I'll go for the tuna instead. The did throw in some fries, so that was nice. But I have to say the workers seem so unhappy here. I feel for them that they have to do this miserable, soul sucking work for little money and few benefits and have to deal with assholes like me. But please try to prepare my food with some love. It makes me feel bad to eat here knowing I am contributing to someone's misery. But, it's not my fault. read more

I LOVE Penn Station and have been to many but this is by far the best I've ever been to. The GM is awesome; very personable and friendly. He made us want to hang out and talk. If I didn't live an hour away, I would be here all of the time. Keep up the good work, guys! read more

I come here once or twice a month. The service is always friendly, and the sandwiches are very, very good. Like, sometimes you go to other Penn Stations and the subs are dry because not enough sauce or generally not quite up to par. This place doesn't have that issue. The subs are always consistent and have plenty of sauce/mayo/whatever. Other than that, this place is pretty standard for the chain. It's relatively close to Ball State, which is nice if you're a college kid and want a decent hot sub. read more

Penn Station is a big-on servings grilled sandwich shop borrowing the East coast style of sandwich making. Penn Station's baked bread is the best sandwich sub loafs bar-none, when grilled it is the perfect golden, crispy on the edges tender in the middle , best loaf out there. Everything is made on the spot: Fresh squeezed lemonade, brewed sweet tea and thick cut potato fries. Many people come for the fries alone, (but I prefer mine crisped with a bunch of salt and pepper, and barbecue sauce). Service is only as quick as a made-to-order grilled sandwich shop can be, so something it can take 5 minutes for your sandwich. The Muncie location is always clean and pleasant, though for some reason it has 3 Televisions stuck on the so-called news. I return whenever I get a chance though not often due to it's off the main road but in a odd nook situation. I wonder how business would be if the shop was in a different location, say near the mall or the Ball State University village community. read more

Favorite sub I've ever had. Get their Pizza Sub with all the add ons they ask you about. Tastes like a pizza in sub form like it should. Little difficult to notice and get to off of McGalliard but its all good. That's just Muncie. read more
