    Goes so good with chili
    Suzanne A.

I was thrilled to find a Skyline Chili on my business trip. The restaurant is right off the highway, a convenient stop if you are hungry. They have a drive through or you can come in and sit down. I ate inside because I knew what I was getting was something you shouldn't eat in the car. I always get the three-way which is pasta, chili, and cheese. You can add beans (4-way) and/or onions (5-way). For Skyline enthusiasts you can buy items with the Skyline logo. I was hoping to purchase the seasoning packets but they did not carry them. The service is great. Stop in... You won't be disappointed.

The food was good, the service and ambiance was good! The food came so faster then any restaurant couldn't beat them.

I don't normally give my opinions on fast food but I don't think that I had ever eaten Skyline before. I stored in the other day for lunch and grabbed a couple of coney dogs. It was cheap, came out quick, and waitress was fantastic. The chili had a strong cinnamon flavor which kind of puts me off (a little f the spice goes a long way with me). Maybe it will be a once I while type stop for me.

September 19, 2019 Thursday - 5:45 for Dinner 2 Adults Atmosphere - 4 stars Food - 4 stars Service - 5 stars Background - The place was featured on Guilty Pleasures from the Food Network. This place was featured but at the original location in Cincinnati. Atmosphere - One other customer was here when we arrived. Felt weird arriving at dinner time and so few people in such a large space. The place has very clean modern feel trying to feel like a café. But in doing so it feels very sterile. Food Drink - Just water tonight. They do have Pepsi products. Dinner - I have always wanted to try Cincinnati Chili, so I went all the way. 5 way, spaghetti, topped with chili, beans, onions and a mound of cheese. I had them bringing the heat, with their extreme habanero cheese. Like habanero the heat is brought on the back end. Skyline's own hot sauce reminded me of Tabasco with a little more heat which shows up on the front end. A great combo bringing different heats at different times. Service - Yes it was our first time and all of the staff knew it. I think most people are regulars here, which great for them. Our waiter asked if we wanted samples, we both said no. But now I curious what would have been the samples. He was friendly and great. Future - Maybe for lunch, this place knows how to get people in and out.

This is one of my favorite stops when I am traveling on 69. It is bright, clean, great service, and has tasty food. Skyline is a Cincinnati- based chain that has made its way into different parts of Ohio and Indiana. It's known for its chili sauce, which has both the traditional meat and a vegetarian option. I love getting the three-way : it is spaghetti topped with chili sauce and a ton of cheese!! What more could a girl want?? :) As I get older, sometimes the sauce makes my tummy hurt (boo to aging and sensitive tummies) but the tasty oyster crackers help me prepare (served with all meals). Come in, seat yourself, and the service is very quick!

Her immediate, first answer was BYOB. Full Stop. Build Your Own Burrito? I think this was the easier lunch decision we've ever made. "Waze, navigate me to BYOB". Less than a ten minute drive later and there we were. First thing's first: You can't miss this place. It's painted bright teal and definitely stands out from its surroundings. BYOB isn't a fancy, sit-down, full-service affair. It's a place with probably a dozen tables set about the area. What is 100% unique about BYOB is the ordering method. There's no menu board. There's no tri-fold menu on the table. At BYOB there are holders with 3 different colored pieces of paper. Each one of those has the menu for that particular food item (Tacos, Burritos, or Bowls). There are also golf pencils. You fill out your order on your yellow, pink, or green order slip and present it at the register. I think this is SERIOUSLY cool. We asked the gentleman at the counter what he would recommend (our first visit and all) and he said they're known for their Wet Tacos. Just about anything with the word "taco" is an easy sell for me, so my wife and I got that. No need to peruse the menu slips for this. If the person behind the counter says "It's what we're known for", that's enough for us. Maybe ten minutes later our Wet Tacos arrived...and Holy. Hell. They were awesome. They were amazing. They were incredible. They were unbelievable. (I'm running out of adjectives). They were magnificent. (ok, I'll stop there). But seriously. There's a lot of magic going on there. I've eaten a lot of tacos in my time and these just raised the bar.....HIGH. The staff we encountered (all both of them) were awesome and you could tell they enjoyed working at BYOB. They were also quick to clear tables after visitors left, making sure the place was kept clean. I'm pretty bummed that this place is so far away from home and that we can't visit on a whim (it's about 2 1/2 from Louisville) so we'll have to settle with infrequent stops when traveling up I-69. Regardless, BYOB is a place I would, 100%, visit with amazing frequency if I was able. OH...and the restroom doors are cutely decorated.
