Ordered the ribeye it was grey and tasted "off" they took it back to replace it and brought second ribeye on a plate no fresh sides as my first ones were cold by the time they returned. I sadly have to give a low rating based solely on the poor, slow service, and the lack of management preparing for our group to be served as expected. Our family was gathering here for our annual Labor Day weekend lunch. I had made a reservation a few weeks in advance, and had confirmed a few days earlier that we were expecting 15-20 people to attend. We arrived to a table prepared for 14 people. As our group started to arrive I quickly determined we didn't have enough seats and had to request more tables be added. One server was assigned to our group of 20. I need to mention that our group was about 90% of this restaurant's customers for the time we were there, so in my opinion it was poor management for only one server to be responsible for our group. Beverage refills were slow - as in several of the group had empty cups waiting on refills. I had a coupon for 50% 2nd entree which I gave to the server, who didn't apply it to the bill until I mentioned it. There were errors on other tickets as well. After giving payment to the server our group waiting a long time to have the tickets returned to us. I will mention that the food was good. Several had the garden bar as part of the meal, and were pleased with the options on the bar. If our group had just shown up I could understand if the service for a group of our size may have been difficult for one server. Our group however had advanced reservations, so I do fault management for not making better decisions on giving us a totally pleasant experience. read more

We have eaten here several different times but tonight was different being it was Christmas Eve and we showed up at 750,my husband ordered steak and fries but they brought him brocoli although it was delicious, my god was also missing the broccoli after explaining to our server who happened to be the manager (alexis) who was such a delight and beyond nice,I tried to tip but he refused explaining he was the manger I have never been treated so nice and so decent,I felt like I was the queen such a wonderful experience and absolutely made my heart so full! Wow. The service was awesome, and the food was just the same! The hostess was very kind and had a pleasant smile and greeting. Our server was very kind and knowledgeable with literally the whole menu. The restaurant was filled about half way (Thursday around 5:30-6pm). The food only took about 7-10 minutes! Haven't been here in awhile, but the service was quick and our server was awesome! She was very friendly and engaging. The salad bar was very fresh, which actually had me full before my food arrived. I ordered the hickory bourbon salmon and broccoli, and it was very tasteful. Hubby ordered the ribeye with loaded baked potato and broccoli. He mentioned the steak was kind of flat to be a ribeye, but was flavorful. There was confusion about one of our additional side items and the pricing, but our server was quick to get it taken care of and the manager actually applied a coupon to our check, which is always a plus!! Not a lot has changed since our last visit, which may not be a good thing because it seems outdated. Maybe some new carpet and updated decor would spruce up the place. Wonderful Ribeye for a chain restaurant, spent a month and over $900 eating there until i realized i never knew how to read a room when i walked into one. Staff is remarkably not dysfunctional and appear to be many long timers on the payroll. Highly recommended for occasional visits, but not as a lifestyle. Joined family here for a celebration. Good service, but the staff was rather confused as to whether our party of 12 should sit at separate tables in the bar area or have the actual large table in the dining area when that party failed to show up on time. Service was good - even though this was the bar team, they did a fab job of keeping track of who had what when the food arrived. My steak was ordered rare and arrived... rare. As expected. It was okay in the most okayest way an okay chain can okay your experience. Out of stuff they shouldn't have been (you have shrimp for pasta, but not grits? No to-go cups? Huh?) Worst place in the area to order food. I ordered on line and they didn't have an item that was listed, so instead of calling me to change the sides they gave me something I don't eat. Trying to eat after surgery abs have to deal with this. Well done Had a nice meal with the family. Great service I love the salad bar here. Sometimes I will get an entrée with the salad bar is my side and fill up on salad and take most of the entrée home for the next day for lunch. The prices are fair and the service is good. They change the menu from time to time which is probably a good idea so every now and again they have new things on the menu. Sometimes You will see a coupon in the Virginian pilot that you can bring in for something like buy one get one free entrée or $10 off your check. I think my favorite thing on the salad bar is the pumpernickel croutons. Unfortunately they are deep-fried and taste like heaven. read more

Ruby Tuesday used to be one of my favorite places of all times years ago, probably because of the salad bar. Love, love, love the homemade croutons (at least I think they are). Everything here tastes pretty good. This visit when I was in N.C, was ok. I had to send back my steak because it was too grissily. (is that a word?) Anyways, they took care of the problem immediately and took it off the bill since all I had was a bite of it and a couple bites of the baked potato. Went there for lunch today and we both ordered the Garden Bar (we have always loved it). It was below sub par. Most, if not all, of the food on the bar was OLD. Brown lettuce, dried up cucumbers, dry pasta salad, rubbery spinach and broccoli, squash salad was dry on top from sitting out so long. I tried to eat some of each thing and it all kept getting worse, so I asked to see the manager. He was polite, and removed the $11.99 x2 for the salad bars off our bill. The waitress came over with our revised bill and said "I looked at the salad bar and everything looked fine to me." When I started telling her everything I listed above she rudely interrupted me and said "wait...I'm leaving". And walked away. If she didn't want to hear what I had actually experienced from the salad bar then why did she think it was ok to voice her inexperienced opinion? She didn't eat any of it. She had no idea how bad it is/was. So I will not be returning because 1) they served old food and 2) rude wait staff named Autumn. If I could I would give zero stars. read more

My fiancé and I dined at the bar this afternoon and had a lovely experience with our bartender Heather! She greeted us as soon as we sat at the bar and gave great beverage recommendations. We had the sampler which came out quick and was delicious! For lunch we had the crispy chicken sandwich I added some toppings and the salad bar which was great as always! My fiancé had the shrimp fajitas which he loved... his only recommendation was salas! I will definitely recommend and be back soon!! read more

Never been to a ruby Tuesday but I really enjoyed all of the options they offer for the garden bar. The quality of their food is awesome and the waiting staff is friendly and fast. I highly recommend this restaurant. The only thing that could be be different is not walking right into the garden bar when we enter. The layout was different but everything else is great! read more

I'd give this place no stars if I could!! Placed an online order which gave a pick up time of 7:30. Got to Ruby Tuesdays and told it wasn't ready....... Finally got the food at 8pm!! The person at the counter said "well we've been really busy" which was comical because the place was practically empty!! Unless a few bus loads of people left right before my arrival... which is quite unlikely!!! The kicker is they ask for your phone number when you place an order... so if it's not ready or running behind then call or text me! It's that simple!! My wife and I drove 45 minutes to dine here(Location #4762--65 Son Lan Pkwy, Garner N.C.) because its the closest one to us. We have dined here several times before but haven't been because of the driving distance. We wanted to eat a good salad so that's the reason we went today. We both ordered the all you can eat salad bar. When we made our first salad we noticed the salad bar items were mostly empty. I told the Hostess the salad bar needed replenishing, there were at least 20 people eating from the salad bar. We waited 15 minutes but no one ever replenished any of the items that were empty. We told our server(Alyson)that the salad bar needed replenishing--she said she would tell the guy responsible for that task. We waited another 15 minutes--still no action on replenishing the salad bar. My wife told Alyson to tell the Manager so maybe something would get done. The Manager(Ryan) came to our table and told us the salad bar would be full in 10 minutes!! We then saw Ryan walk out the side door next to the restrooms, don't know where he went but he wasn't in the restaurant to manage things. We waited another 30 minutes only to see someone put out some clean plates and fill up the ham and mushrooms. The salad bar was "NEVER" replenished so we could make a good salad. I would say that at least 60% of the salad bar was empty. We ask Alyson for our check, we paid our check and left. VERY DISAPPOINTED--with this. No one seemed to care if we got to eat what we paid for. BAD MANAGEMENT!! To say the least!! We surely won't drive that far again to pay for something we can't get to eat. read more

My daughter and I stopped by on a Friday night for a meal. The host was kind enough to put us in a socially distanced area. NeNe was the waitress that helped us. She was friendly, funny and made sure we had refills and everything we needed. The dry rub ribs were delicious, especially with sauce on the side. Another very nice dinner at the Ruby Tuesdays. We stopped in to get a drink, salad and Appetizers. As always our wonderful bartender Autumn made wonderful drinks and was her usually happy helpful bartender. She and the rest of the staff were extremely busy as you could see them all moving quickly to serve the customers. I am sure they are short staffed. Preston (he has been our wonderful server before) even stepped in to help fill the salad bar so customers had what they wanted. All the staff works well as a team. Ordered delivery today from "Libby's BBQ" and come to find out it is really Ruby Tuesday!!! Way to SCAM your guests!!! Never would have ordered it if I knew that in advance. The food and portions were average at best and the prices were EXTREMELY high compared to the other BBQ places in the area that serve better food. I will never be back and by the way a 90% health food grade SUCKS given the fact you get 2 extra point for mgrs. being serve safe certified. We eat here often. Love the salad bar. Host/Hostess always greets us promptly and seats us quickly. My only complaint is that the waitresses tend to group up between the bar and kitchen area and socialize quite loudly. One waitress in particular has a very loud voice that really carries throughout the restaurant. I understand the need to socialize, but the restaurant clientele don't really care to hear what you did last night, etc. Steak was very tender & tasty- the baked potatoes were hard on the bottom and very small - not sure if they were microwaved too long or what. read more

We really looked forward to coming here for the Salad Bar, but it was not what we expected from RT. I've had great experiences at other Ruby Tuesdays but this one was really skimpy. We had to scrape the bottom of the bowl to get croutons, and they were stale (unlike the awesome fresh ones I've had at other locations). I ordered the Lobster Pasta, and the pink peices of "lobster" in it may have resembled lobster, but had no flavor. The thick lump of pasta on my plate should have been served as a side in the Salad Bar, not as a main course, and the peas and bacon were the only things that gave it any flavor. My boyfriend got a steak and it was alittle overcooked. He asked for A1 sauce and after waiting awhile the waiter brought it in a cup, which made us wonder if it was really A1 or a cheap imitation. Luckily we had a "buy one entree get one free" coupon so we didn't feel too ripped off when we left, considering the meal was $50.00 without the coupon! (they get ya on the salad bar and the drinks). Thats a lot of money, I'd rather spend another $25 to go to a nice restaurant and get a meal where you can expect good quality food prepared fresh. OR, spend $25 less at a family owned restaurant with good home cooking and friendly service. read more

Used to be one of our favorite spots to go after work... but the atmosphere has really changed. Their are not many places around this area that offer healthy eating options so Ruby Tuesday was a weekly staple for us. The new cook is doing a good job and the bartenders, Jessica and Katrina are pleasant and are the only ones that seen to do any work. They are under new management and it shows. He walks around with his hands on his hips, food will be sitting on kitchen seal and he still just stands there. I have seen the bartendar ask him to get a salad to go bowl and he will tell someone else to do it rather than do it himself. They play very loud explicit music in the kitchen and you can hear every word if you are at the bar.. and even the cook singing. Its just inappropriate. I mean its Ruby Tuesday not the club. Also the salad bar is a mess and is never maintained anymore. Worst Part is after sitting in this restaurant for an hour I saw the employees come in and out of the restaurant, go to their cars, come back in, play in each others hair, use their cell phones and NEVER wash their hands. There is no chain that I can think of that has fallen quite as far in the past seven years as Ruby Tuesdays. It was never really my "go to", but for a short period of time in the early 2000s, it really was a much better restaurant, with better food. It used to be better than Friday's, and its ilk. Now...it's just not very good. Everyone loves to talk about how great the salad bar is at Ruby's. Truth is, that's the part that they've left to slide the most. Less quality, less quantity in terms of toppings, bland greens (a sure sign of a greater dependence on pre-washed veggies), and cost-cutting have really knocked the place off it's former 3.5 star perch. My last visit, I went to get some ham for my salad. It was pinkish, and sort of off color, but I put it down to the lighting. When I returned to the table and took a bite, it turned out that they had replaced the ham with bologna. Why not just leave meat off the salad bar entirely, if chunk ham vs. bologna is going to make or break your restaurant? My entree was bland, but freshly prepared. The service was excellent, although it could have something to do with the fact that more waitstaff was on duty than there were diners in the restaurant. I'd rather eat McDonalds. We just moved here from Hawaii and have eaten at RT everywhere across the country. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at an RT. The entire restaurant was filthy and looked uncared for. Didn't have basic beers, menu items or chicken items. 2 attempts to cook my sons burger medium and it was still well done, soup looked old and the ribs were sad. Will not go back. Only upside was our waiter (name slips my mind but he had a fabulous Elvis pompadour ) He was awesome and tried so hard to make up for everything. *I see RT replied. Went two months ago and got crab cakes that were fantastic! Large, lots of crab meat, and very delicious. Went back this Sunday, got two TINY crab cakes, with barely any crab meat, and were disgusting. Server said they had changed the portion size and recipe. Only thing I use to like there. Had a great server for lunch. She was attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger per her recommendation, got grilled asparagus and the salad bar for $9.50. We showed up to enjoy a mid afternoon meal on June 20th after receiving a So Connected BOGO. We have been to this restaurant several times and the service has never been great but this trip was horrendous. There were no more then 12 people in the entire restaurant with at least 3 servers working. We were seated in a booth in the bar and watched servers walk back and forth on the other side of the bar for 15 minutes and even had one look right at us a couple of times. No one showed up to take our order. One server walked out of the kitchen area with a paper towel on her face wiping blood from her ear. We decided to leave but my wife asked to speak to a manager which came over within a minute but his tone really showed no sincerity at all! I'm sure there has to be a health issue with airborne pathogens with the bloody paper towel. Avoid this place! read more

I ordered jumbo shrimp and fries. The menu stated it came with coleslaw and hush puppies, which I didn't receive. The fries could have been cooked a little longer. The shrimp had a heavy coating of batter that was spicy, which tasted good on first bite but wasn't something that was good after that. I wasn't happy with this meal, but I've had other dishes from this location that were good. Three stars seems generous but since I'm willing to buy food here again I feel three stars is fair. read more

We were there on a Sunday night. Service was terrible. Once we got our food the waitress never came back. We had to go to the bar to get our check. I got the Salad Bar for my meal. I have definitely seen better healthier salad bars at other Ruby Tuesday,s. Macaroni salad tasted funny. the Manager assured me it was fine. I woke up in the middle of the night so sick to my stomach. Definitely food poisoning. SO make a hard pass on the salad bar. Too may other places to chose for dinner. read more

We always stop here for lunch on our way to Southport where we vacay once each year. The Garden Bar is AMAZING-it's more than just a salad bar. The food is always good. My only beef is with the service. It's fine until the food comes. It would be nice if the server would come back 5 minutes later and check on us. By then at least one of us is ready for a beverage refill. But the last couple of times, it was almost impossible to get anyone's attention. But I look forward to another trip through the Garden Bar in a few weeks! read more
