Just okay. They were out of chicken which is in a lot of dishes on their menu. Three of us had to change our order. I do like the deconstructed kabobs but they ran out of bell peppers so one of us only got green peppers. I was able to sub my rice for extra veggies which was nice. Salad bar was okay. The ribs were quite dry overall but had a nice sauce on the outside. The hash browns were the best part of the meal. I was at the Festus, Mo location Tuesday, June 3rd with my 4 year old grandson. The salad bar was clean and fantastic. Aiden ordered chicken and mashed potatoes from the kid's menu. Our food order was a total disappointment. After a long day of traveling we wanted to pick up some food and hang out in our hotel room. The order was relativery simple: a mushroom smash buurger and chicken tacos with a request for utensils. We received the burger with no ketchup and corn in a dish with no utensils or napkins. We were asked to add a tip to our order-we added a 15% tip before we even picked up our order. We decided to make our annual trip with Festus as our overnight midpoint; however, we will not be ordering from Ruby Tuesday again. Me and my boyfriend were trying to venture out on new places to eat since we typically only go to the same restaurants when we go out. Amber was our server and as soon as we got settled in, she got our drinks and when we were ready, she got our order in a timely manner. I've been fixated on this since I paid for dinner last night so I thought I'd wright a review. I got the single chicken Bourban entree. It's a $16 entree and the only thing edible was the piece of chicken. My sides were broccoli and mashed potatoes which tasted like they had been sitting out all day then microwaved and they were a little less than warm. We didn't get there until 7 so we probably did get the days leftovers. I had to force the broccoli down because I'm pregnant and needed to give the baby some nutrients. I skipped the mashed potatoes. I'm so bummed I had to pay $16 for that meal. My husband got a smash burger and that tasted good. I'm just bummed I spent extra to eat a balanced meal and that's what came out of the kitchen. Just a quick update to say this RT CONSISTENTLY beats the competition. It's a great place to take advantage of happy hour specials, the burgers are some of the best you'll find - seriously! And the service is generally very good. I've eaten at a lot of RT and this one just simply stands out. I will never be back. the bartender was the only server on a saturday night. we were the first people to sit down at this time. we were there for about 15 mins before anyone else was seated. we waited an hour and a half for our food. the manager came out and offered every table around us a discount, free dessert, and even comped one of the tables entire meal. We were offered nothing. even though we were there before and waited longer than everyone else. the sever never once got us refills, asked how our meal was, nothing. she took our order and then brought us our check. the manager was walking around checking on everyone , but didn't really show any interest in checking on us. as far as our food, it' was terrible. my steak was basically just a ball of fat. i didn't even eat it. my zucchini wasn't even cooked, just raw on my plate. overall, the worst restaurant experience i have ever had. i still tipped 20%, but i can see this establishment being shut down after roadhouse opens, as they can't keep up with three tables in the entire restaurant. read more

We had a large party so I'm sure it was overwhelming but we were all patient and understood our wait may be a little longer. They split our party into three tables which was a little strange but again we were ok with it. The last table to order received their items first but still took close to 45 minutes after ordering. Half of the second tables occupants received their orders about 15 minutes after that. Then the third table was told that their food was given to another table!!!! They just said to forget it. My daughter and I received ours about 15 minutes after that news (we had just assumed our food was given to that other table) not one dime was removed from anyone's tickets.
