The burger is made up of things that don't seem like they should go together: jalapeños, jam, bacon, cream cheese and a burger patty. IT WAS AWESOME! A little spicy, a little sweet, a little creamy, a little crunchy. So yummy! So good, in fact, that I took a picture of it! The atmosphere is clean, neat, but small. Brick BLT is by far the best sandwich I've ever had. The cream cheese, brown sugar and garlic aoili make the sandwich melt in your mouth. I make my husband go there pretty often. Thankfully, he really enjoys their burgers and beer. I enjoy their cranberry mule. Service was prompt and food came out quickly. The main interior is small but not cramped. I had some time to hang out as I was waiting for an event to end. I stopped into the Brick Bistro for a bite to eat and a glass of wine. Hung out at the window bar table. The service was very good, timely and friendly. My salad was great and loaded with lots of avocado, chicken, olives, and cheese. The dressing was lightly and nice as it tied all the flavors together. We have this local place a try. The atmosphere was great, very small seating area and bar. They were busy based on their footprint. Parking is street parking and I believe behind the building has some too. My drink was great told him to pick, so no idea what it was called but we did their loaded nachos (so so so so good) and Big Banai( think I got that right). We have been several times since this opened. My daughter loves their coffee. She has tried several different flavors. They have more flavors than most places! My only complaint would be lack of fat free milk options. They only have whole milk. Not the best option for everyone, especially when your name says Brew. Arrived at 1030 and like most restaurants these days they are severely understaffed.... Guy at the bar just yelled over and told us to sit where we want. The menu is very small with not a whole lot of choices. The atmosphere is good with a patio open. The coconut latte we ordered was really good!! I was getting my hair done next door to them and the staff was talking about how great their food was so I decided to place an order with them and they even delivered to the salon. It was delicious!!!! I ordered shrimp tacos and the portobello and black bean sandwich and it was all amazing!! I liked it so much I stopped in a week later and ordered their grilled cheese and nothing to disappoint! Super friendly staff and they absolutely know what they are doing with the food! Stopped in on Thursday night a week ago, having forgotten that Jefferson County lifted their mask mandate, it was refreshing to feel like we were back in the "good old days" before masks were a part of our everyday lives. The restaurant was impeccably decorated and colorful with tables spaced and a big window across the front with a bar for eating while watching the passers by. We were warmly greeted and quickly seated at the window bar table. They have a very nice drink menu and I ordered a margarita (followed by espresso martini, because, why not?!). Neither disappointed and I would drink both again- and, because they were both well made, it also makes me feel good that I'd have a similar experience trying something else from the menu. Their food menu intrigued me right away as everything had a little twist on it- nothing run of the mill about their offerings. I love restaurants that surprise me and excite my palate and all of their offerings were interesting. I ended up going for their pork and pineapple street tacos while my husband asked them to bring the most popular pizza. My daughter ordered pretzels that came with a Gouda dipping sauce (delicious)! We didn't have one bite left to take home. The tacos were the perfect mix of tender, juicy seasoned pork and sweet pineapple. The pizza was a crispy thin crust full of toppings. This is probably my favorite little spot in Festus now. I recently moved here and tried it out with my mom. Went back with a friend and back again with my son. I had their jalapeño popper and bacon grilled cheese and was blown away! It was so delicious I got it again on a return trip even though their menu is large and full of good choices. It's small so don't plan to sit down with a large group but it's a great spot for more intimate groups. They make coffee drinks, boozy drinks and have brunch all day on Sunday with some amazing options. Highly recommend and looking forward to my next lunch here. read more
