I like that you can schedule an appointment online (and they actually have someone available when you have an appointment) and I can be in and out in 10 minutes. This is the worst place I've ever been at. I've been a loyal costumer for 4 years and the last few times I came my dip powder sets came off like a fake nail after 4 days I had the same lady do my nails both times, not to mention overcharging me for a set that I could get at Walmart and glue them on my self.I paid 50$ for a set for it to come off in 4 days? I hope the lady that did my nails gets fired because this isn't the first time I saw other costumers have issues with her. I will be happy to come down and explain this in person to the manager. I've been to many lash artist here in Washington state and no one compares to her. Her work ethic, her communication, her work is just simply a 10/10! I came in here last week for a shellac manicure and natural lashes extension. It was my first time here, my first time getting French tips, and my first time getting lash extensions, and they were awesome! I booked my appointment online a few days before and the website is very easy to navigate. I was also impressed with their following Covid guidelines (everyone wore masks, plexiglass between me and the manicurist, they took everyone's temperature, & they had us all fill out forms saying that we didn't have symptoms. For my manicure, I didn't originally know what I wanted but they were very nice and gave me a few options to pick from before I decided on French tips. For my lashes, I didn't know what to expect but they had me fill out a waiver and then she took me back and talked to me about everything we were going to do. Me and my friend came in today to get two full sets when she cut my nails I wanted a long set and as she was doing them she said $150, I said that's too much and she asked me how much I think ? I said $120 then she asked 3 other people in the salon what she should charge JUST for the length.. I sat there while they talked about us in there language, she was throwing the bags of nail tips on the table, and they were laughing at us I just thought that was very unprofessional. My friend was getting a shorter set and the girl told her $110 a little after my lady had said the price for mine. We instantly new that was too much, especially when most salons like this rush and don't even give you straight, nice looking nails. They cut the nails off and we left with tips still on. Luckily PANTHER LAKE NAILS came in and SAVED the day! Me and my friend got the sets we wanted for $60 and $70 and they're SUPER nice. DO NOT get ur nails done at rubys , weirdest worst experience I've had. But look at our Panther lake nails tho ! read more

I called in an appointment but I still had to wait one hour for them to even get to me and then when they finally sat me down it took them two hours to finish and the nails don't even look good. And when I went up to pay they tried telling me it was $70 when realistically it should have only been $55 according to their prices in the menu in their salon. And now less than a week later a nail has already fallen off. They are terrible and will try to scam you. Made me bleed multiply times. Don't waste your money. read more

I got my nails done here twice, and the first time was a great experience. The service from my nail technician and the owners was great, and my nails turned out better than I expected. However, I came back to get a fill recently with another technician and unfortunately it was anything but a good experience. She was very rough with her technique and handled my fingers very aggressively while twisting and tugging at my hand. She also grazed over my skin around the nail several times with her drill tools which ended up causing mild inflammation near my cuticle. I asked her to put jewels and they were placed very sloppily, and they fell off less than a few hours after I left. I felt like she was rushing to get my nails done and over with (even though I was the only customer at the shop for 1+ hours...) and ended the session by dowsing my entire fingers in alcohol/polish remover(?), and then slathering cuticle oil and lotion on me without even rubbing either of them in. She was a nice lady and was not rude to me at all, but the technique and aftermath does not seem worthy for the price I paid with the tip. So sad, because I really liked this place after my first visit. read more

ive been here for an acrylic set, and a pedicure on different days. overall, they have great quality for fair pricing! my manicurist paid so much attention to detail and was so sweet, and the pedicure i got was awesome for the price. however, do not go if your on a time crunch!! ive gone twice with appointments, one time i had no wait, one time i was waiting 20 minutes past my appointment time. the wait time, even with an appointment, is hit or miss so make sure if you go you have time to spare read more

Lady who did my nail, I think her name was Kim? She was rude and aggressive. I was getting dip nails for the first time and she would nap at me for looking at my nails after the dip bc I was fascinated or just in general she was snappy! She was holding onto my finger so aggressively too and was annoyed with me when i asked her to use a new nail file. She didn't by the way and kept telling me it was new when clearly it wasn't. The dip turned out soooo thick like I had bricks on my finger nails. I didn't realize this was so thick until I got it done somewhere else after a week bc it just looked awful. Not to mention, she would dip your finger in the master powder where the other place would use a smaller container to pour the powder from the master so she's not contaminating the master with everyone's fingers! So Ruby's is not sanitary. Also the dip powder i got was a purple color but there was leftover red glitter in there and it showed on my nails. Again, not sanitary and sloppy. Not only that but I get automated text messages from them for deals and no option to stop the subscribed texts and I had to block them. read more

She invited me to her other nail salon (US Nails in Renton) to get my nails fixed, and even upgraded me to Gel nails. They are my favorite set of nails I've ever gotten by far and received excellent customer service from her and the woman who did my nails the second time. Will for sure be coming back :) read more
