I have been a long time fan of Rubio's. We used to make special trips just to go there when the only one was an hour and a half away. Recently I took my family to this location and ordered fish tacos. When they came, I asked for limes. You know,the things that have always come with fish tacos at Rubio's. They said they were out, they only have lemons. Lemons do not go with fish tacos. I sent an email to the company, they replied with something about having supplier issues and put two free tacos on my account. That was a month ago and today I went to redeem them. Still no limes, but they had lemons. The person working there said that limes are too expensive right now so they have lemons. He said they're losing money giving away limes. Go to any grocery store and you'll see that lemons cost more than limes. I'm guessing they just use far fewer lemons since they don't go with Mexican food so they're saving money since no one uses them. The service was great, the restaurant was clean, but this is a deal breaker. I will not eat fish tacos with lemons and I will not eat them without limes. This might seem trivial but it's part of what I enjoy about a good fish taco. Look at their instagram page, fish tacos with lime. I'll be getting my fish tacos elsewhere from now on. I love rubios food so hopefully this was a one off situation or just a bad crew working. Just went by on 06/14 around 6pm. Both of the employees who were serving the guests had AirPods in. When you would try and tell them something you had to repeat it a second time after they removed their AirPod. I really only drink the mango tea here (it's delicious). When we arrived it was out. I informed the team and they didn't replace it. There was also multiple other beverages out. So after my meal when I was leaving and still couldn't fill my cup with tea I asked for a refund. They did give it but I could tell they were annoyed and as we were leaving heard them talking about it. I'm not going to pay almost $4 for a drink I wasn't able to get. I called and explained what the issue was they said no problem I see what happened and I'll contact DoorDash for you and get it refunded and told me to order it again. There were 2 tables occupied. 2 workers chit chatting & laughing in the back.. that I could see. It took about 3 minutes to be greeted. Once order placed, the salsa bar had slim pickings. Salsa's were practically empty, to the bottom of the bowls. I'm pretty sure the labels were messed up, I got a mild sauce (that I normally get at other Rubios) and it was super Spicy. The cilantro/onions were scrapable to the bottom, barely enough for 2 tacos. Minimal lines. Both trash cans were overflowing. Women's bathroom, has not been cleaned in a while & toilet paper almost out, 1 or 2 more customers... and then no more. Very poor service & just seems lazy! Would not recommend this location. Rubio's has always been a decent experience for me. Quick and friendly service. Ample seating both inside and outside. Food is always good. Won't be the best seafood you've ever had, but good quality for counter service for sure. My partner and I usually go on Taco Tuesday for their fish taco specials. Can't go wrong! read more

I arrived to a line of about 8 people waiting to order. The guy taking orders was on the phone taking his time to take a phone order. Finally he hung up and turned to the first guy in line. Then he saw another guy who as waiting for a take out order. He told the guy in line "just a minute". He went and found the take out order for him and then went back and started bagging take out orders. He didn't come back and I gave up and left. Being on the west side of town I wanted a yummy treat so decided to dine in at this location. Per usual I asked for a cup for water. The nice staff gave me one and I went to the salsa bar and filled the cup 3/4 with salsa. The reason being is that I use 4 small cups of salsa for my burrito and chips. The water cup equates to the amount of salsa I use in the smaller cups. The thought being less plastic waste. Alas the "manager" (I think) saw me and told me in a very stern Dutifully I poured out the salsa into 4 small cups and threw away the water cup. Too bad Rubios. I've only heard good things about Rubio's, so instead of going to my usual mexican fast food Filibertos I gave this a try. It was a mistake: 1. You can't custom order a burrito, so you have to order what they have and adjust accordingly. Leaving you to pay for add on's if it doesn't come with the burrito. 2. You can pick a protein witch is standard. However, who knows how much you'll get. I ordered stake and it was bitter sweet. I maybe found like three or four pieces which is upsetting. But when I did get a chance to have some stake I'd rather just have the bean and rice burrito back. So to put it plainly the stake SUCKS. 3. Chips and salsa was pretty good. If that's all I ordered I'd be content. All in all, if you want some Mexican food you might as well go to Taco Bell. I would of had much better food for the $15 dollars I spent. read more

Stopped in for lunch with my employees as this was the birthday girls favorite place to eat. This is the first time I have been to this location and they were nice and clean inside with almost no wait. The server was friendly and answered all my questions. I opted for the California Bowl with Chicken. It was delicious and I ended up eating the whole thing. I also liked the salsa bar with the different salsa options they have. I was able to try all of them and see which one I liked the best. All in all it was a great place for lunch and I could see myself coming back. read more

Was pretty impressed trying Rubio's for the first time. The service was really good and the food was awesome. The whole time I was eating there, there was a line to the front door , that tells you something lol! I definitely see myself coming back to try other protein menu items as I tried their shrimp items and it was very good! Their Mexican corn bowl was also one of my favorites there ! Fresh and Delicious Rubio's is always a good choice for a fresh and tasty meal. If you have not tried Rubios original fish tacos you really should. The fish tacos are delicious and loaded with fresh ingredients. I like to add a lillte spice to my tacos by adding jalapeño and hot salsa. If you don't like fish tacos, Rubio's offers street tacos, quesadillas, burritos and salads. My family enjoys the quesadillas, and the burritos which are big and very tasty. Rubio's hit the right spot. They are very tasty and reasonably priced. I would recommend this restaurant for quick but tasty meal. read more

Street tacos barely have any meat, and if you leave guacamole in them; it's basically a guacamole wrapped in a tortilla sprinkled with meat and maybe a single leaf of cilantro and onions. Love places that have Keto options! This is a great place for a quick lunch. I ended up having the gourmet chicken tacos with a cheese taco shell. They were delicious! The pictures on their website look so good an appetizing, but what you get is NOTHING like the photos. I ordered the shrimp honey bowl and a taco bowl and the ratios were so off. I had a bowl 80% filled with cauliflower rice and maybe 3-5 shrimps. I ate 1/4 of the bowl and was left with only rice. The salad same thing it was all lettuce.
