Yes, $1 Taco Tuesdays (as of the date of this review) for the tacos on the $1 menu. If you want to add cheese, the price goes up. Second. It's a family-owned and run business. After my coworkers and I finished, we spoke with one of the staff and found out her mother makes the hot sauces (and I imagine much, much more). The entire staff was friendly and engaging. For my lunch, I chose the Asada/Steak, Al pastor, and Birria, four in total so that my bill was $4 plus tax. The tacos arrive freshly made on the smaller-sized Mexican style tortillas. The meat on all my tacos was seasoned and marinated well, and the sweet onions and fresh cilantro rounded them out. Great flavor on their own. Because I enjoy hot sauces (up to a certain level), I tried both sauces brought to our table, and each one was a unique and complimented the tacos. Our group shared an order of chips and salsa. Both seemed fresh and homemade. The chips were on the thick side but held the salsa without flinching. Available beverages included canned and bottled sodas, waters, aguas frescas, among others. I know I'll return on another Taco Tuesday with my George Washingtons in hand, but the regular menu looks interesting on its on to return on a different day. When I got my food, it wasn't what I ordered at all. It looked like they gave me birria tacos with corn inside the meat and a cup of dipping sauce on the side. I'm not sure how that happened because all I wanted was carne asada tacos. So there was definitely some miscommunication.
