Salt of the earth owners and the food is authentic, fresh and deliciously flavored. Good portions too. Prices are right.

Surely, you can find something that you'll like here as there's plenty of variety. Don't recommend for the middle of the summer when is scorching hot, as there's no A/C or indoor seating available.

I had been craving fresas con crema for the longest, and I ended up getting them almost every night that weekend. My favorite was the Fresas con Crema Raffaello. I will say, though, it can get pricey, so don't expect to spend just a few bucks. The fresas con crema alone were over $18 lol. The service really depends on which truck you visit, but for the most part everyone has been friendly. The atmosphere is super chill, there's plenty of seating, and they have trash bins throughout the area. It's mostly clean, although there are a few spots that smell like straight-up trash. They also have free parking behind Denny's and paid parking right next to the food trucks. Save yourself the $6-$10 and park behind Denny's, you can put that money toward a drink instead! I seriously love this place and will always make room for it in my itinerary whenever I'm in Orlando. The fact that they're open until 2 a.m. is just another bonus!

I was stunned on how expensive the price was, 19 dollars after taxes and tips! The food came in a reasonable time, and we took our food upstairs to the cafeteria area so we can sit down in AC. The chicken tacos had a good amount of chicken with onions and cilantro added as well. However, there was no sauce or salsa, making it a bit bland for me. I was hoping for some picante! However, the tacos were still filling and satisfying. The chicken could have been more tender, but I still enjoyed it. Thankfully I didn't get anything to drink as it probably would have been more expensive. The service was at least fast and friendly. After paying, the attendant handed me a number and called my number after 2-3 minutes. Since it was a food truck, there is no atmosphere to talk about other than being in the convention center. Lol While the tacos satisfied my hunger, and were alright, the big question to ask: "was it 19 dollars good?". The answer: "Definitely not". Unfortunately, I think Rubio decided to take advantage as the other restaurants inside the convention center charge the captive audience exorbitant prices. For lunch, 19 dollars for three chicken tacos is almost a ripoff, even if it was decent. For the same price, I should have just walked a couple minutes and ate in a restaurant instead. Overall: C

The giant NOW OPEN banner was flapping like it personally invited me, and the storefront painted in bold Trinidad flag colors looked ready to hand out citizenship papers with every order. I walked in thinking I'd grab a quick bite. Rookie mistake, one look at the doubles and suddenly I'm ordering five. Then I'm calling my aunt and cousin like it's a family emergency: "Allyuh want doubles? Because these looking SERIOUS." Next thing you know, I'm walking out with ten doubles like I'm catering a small festival. And let me tell you, these doubles? Soft bara, perfectly seasoned channa, pepper and tamarind sauce hugging everything like a warm Caribbean auntie. I've basically been on a doubles‑only diet since, and honestly, I feel spiritually aligned. I even ate one cold from the fridge and it still slapped. That's when you know it's real. Then there's the boneless curry chicken with buss‑up‑shut. Pure comfort. The kind of meal that makes you close your eyes after the first bite. The potatoes were soft enough to spread on a cracker, the channa was rich and earthy, and the chicken tasted like somebody's grandmother was in the back whispering, "Put a lil' more seasoning, nah." The buss‑up‑shut was fluffy, torn, and ready to scoop up every drop of curry like it had a mission. And the pepper sauce? Flavorful. Respectful. Not trying to fight me or send me to the ER. A rare and beautiful thing. The place is clean, the parking is plentiful, and the staff has real Trini accents that instantly make everything feel more authentic. Even the way they say "Next!" has rhythm. Next time, I'm calling ahead for dhal phourie, because clearly this place does not miss and I'm not risking it selling out. If you see me there again, mind your business! I'm probably ordering another ten doubles and living my best life.
