It was hard to enjoy the food with how dirty this place was. I don't think I need to say much. The pictures tell it all.

I would not recommend this place to anybody. Servers were nice but definitely hard to enjoy your food with this scenery. Plaza is also terribly unkept. Food was not worth the experience.

Strawberry ice cream ordered after i ate.

Thai hidden gem was a nice place to come get everything f you need. From Mexican sweet bread, to Mexican ice cream fresh homemade waters different varieties to choose from, they also sell piñatas and tortillas by the pound! I ordered a Gordita and a sope, i expected it to be small but they where a decent size, my husband ordered camarones ala diabla they could of been more Spicey but they wasn't. I got pineapple water and it was so refreshing along with a strawberry ice cream and that was delicious not sweet. The prices are very inexpensive for what we ordered.

This place never lets me down with there delicious Mexican breads. I come here just about every Saturday to eat at there restaurant(Tortilleria La Mexicana #1) and to buy some breads and tamales. I always leave happy knowing this place is here.

Had lunch as I have heard good things about this taqueria. Chips and salsa verde were promptly delivered. Ordered a Coke and found that they only have bottles and cans. Coke was the Mexican variety which was nice. Salsa is very flavorful with a heat that builds as you continue to eat it. Very good to use on your tacos and tamales. Ordered the chicken tamale which comes with sour cream and fresh cheese. A little dry but still very good. The pork tamale comes with red salsa and is the better option in my opinion. Also had two tacos, chicharrones & lengua. The Iengua was made of diced tongue which had been sautéed in spices until tender and then diced. Quite tasty. The chicharrones were pork skin which were also cooked down and diced. I had hoped that they would have been deep fried for a bit of crispyness but were quite soft. Still had great flavor, just the texture was too soft for me. The selection of taco fillings is quite extensive and you could come here for days trying them all. Between the two of us who dined here, we had two cokes, 2 tamales & 3 tacos. Total bill was $10.50!!!! Unbelievable deal. Make sure to check out all the baked goods they have as well as the homemade Popsicles in about twenty flavors. All appeared to be made with real fruits and spices. Try this place out for lunch or dinner, it is a great change of pace from the Garribaldi's and you may find that the food is much better, as I did. They also serve beer and margaritas.

I know I was the gringa in there pero no sabor. I've had tacos with more flavor in a snow storm. Please tell me you gave me a mild version because I'm white and this is not what you sell normally.

My sister ordered an extreme amount of food, as she wanted to try everything. All this for $15, wow!

Went to this place yesterday.. Hands down the best Mexican food I've had. I loved the steak torta and the tacos. They have a great menu with excellent prices. The shrimp tostadas my guest had were incredible.. I will definitely be back!

I ordered food from Uber Eats, and it arrived with a hair in the lettuce. It was absolutely disgusting.

We always come here if we need a taco fix. For 1.60 per taco it is unexpectedly good. I always go for the al pastor and chorizo.

We were greeted when we walked in and service is at the cash register so this is more of a quick service style restaurant. The restaurant itself has plenty of seating despite being in a small space, and is very cheerfully decorated. We ordered some flautas, steak and pork tacos, and chips and queso. There is a topping bar for your tacos with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and hot sauces. The chips and queso were delicious, and the flautas were also fantastic! I didn't like the refried beans as much as my husband did--they were on the thinner side and to me the taste wasn't what I wanted it to be, but the rice was good. The flavor of the steak taco was great but the cubes of meat were too big in my opinion. The real star of this show was the tacos al pastor! Super tender and delicious!!! If Yelp had a half star system, I would definitely have given a 4.5 but since they don't it feels necessary to round up to a 5, because overall this place is a winner! We will definitely be back!

My wife actually went before I did, and she said it was okay. So one night, we decided to go and try it out together. We walked in and were quickly greeted by the hostess. I looked around and had a hard time recognizing the layout as they had really made it different than the barbecue place before it. The decor is beautiful, and I felt as if I was in a Mexican Cantina in Mexico City! She asked if we wanted a booth or a table, and we chose a booth. While it wasn't packed, it was fairly busy, which was a great sign. We sat and were given menus, which were quickly followed by Chips & Salsa. She asked what we wanted to drink, and I ordered a Michelada. The Chips and Salsa were good, not the best I have ever had, but tasty. We ordered queso dip and a main course, and my Michelada arrived- the best I have ever had in Apopka, and rivaled any that I have had anywhere- great start! The queso was good, typical. I had steak tacos, and my wife had a burrito. We also had a side of tamales. Everything was fresh and tasty, and we were both very impressed! The staff were friendly and genuinely happy to see us; I felt like a long-time customer. We have been back several times and have enjoyed each visit. We will definitely keep coming back!

The atmosphere was perfect for Cinco de Mayo: lively, busy, and the kind of place where you accidentally stay two hours longer than planned. It's very family-friendly, and I'm always comfortable bringing my very active toddler here. Service is quick and we've never experienced a wait, though we tend to go on weekend afternoons. They give you free chips & salsa as soon as you're seated. The margaritas are big & strong. I usually opt for the El Jefe and even the medium size is plenty for me. My husband gets the mango agua fresca. Just know that if you order size large of anything, it's basically the size of a pitcher, haha. For food, we always share the mixed molcajete which is a giant sizzling stone bowl full of chicken, steak, shrimp, pork, with grilled peppers, tomatoes, onions, and queso fresco. It's also served with rice, beans, guac, lettuce, and tortillas on the side. Ask for their homemade hot sauces if you like more spice (yes, they are HOT). It's plenty of food to share with lots of leftovers to take home. Well worth the $35 since we get multiple meals out of it. We usually get my son a quesadilla, but he's starting to try more of the foods we eat. He loved the chicken! Fiesta Cancún is a vibe -- highly recommend.
