Do not order from this restaurant they are a ripoff. If I could give it a zero I would. They sold through slice app a large cauliflower white pizza for 40 dollars. The pizza came as an individual size which i could have ordered for half the price. They refused a refund or adjustment to the price of an individual pizza. I've been trying to find a pizza place that's good with toppings. I find that with most in the area half the toppings are falling off before you take a bite taken away on a river of grease. Not here! Really good incorporation of ingredients. Service is always pleasant, it's a bit small in the front, but the restaurant is good and the parking lot is decent. Adding a star since my last review. I'm still perplexed by the lack of mozzarella in their calzones, but a regular slice from here is wonderful. Nice crust, tasty sauce and good cheese. I've only ever had a regular pie & garlic knots from here but i have to say it's the best pie in town (definitely better than branchinellis lol) pizza is cooked perfectly not burnt & not under cooked. The knots could be a little more oily & garlicy for my liking but overall they're tasty. My boyfriend loved the sicillian slices, we'll be back to try some more! read more

This is my parents' favorite local Italian place. We've eaten with them here once before and enjoyed everything, and we were going to order takeout the other night. All their food is so delicious - from the pizza (some of the best slices) to the cooked dishes (beyond restaurant quality - chicken is so tender). We have catered from there and it arrives just as good as when ordered dish by dish. The brothers that own it go out of their way to help you order correctly if you cater from them. OMG I ordered a grandma pie a Cesar salad a dozen garlic knots and fried calamari with spicy marina and what I got was a JOKE first off grandma pizzas have thin crust this crust was as thick as a Sicilian pie and the pesto tasted as though it was taken from a jar it didn't have that fresh just made taste the pizza was awful the garlic knots were so dry and didn't taste garlicky at all they tasted like canned biscuits twisted to look like garlic knots and the lettuce I. the Cesar salad was wilted not crisp and I expected shaved Parmesan cheese and they had that Kraft sprinkled cheese and lastly the spicy marina sauce tasted as though it was diced tomatoes out of a can with chunks of garlic I expected see at least some crushed red pepper in there honestly that place is a disgrace to the Italian food scene and you will be wasting your money if you are looking for anything more than knock off italian cuisine read more

This is a great little pizza place. We have been looking for a pizza shop closer to home and we finally found a good one. We've tried this place twice now and both times the pizza has been great. So the Big Tomato is very close to my house. I have never patronized this pizzeria before the pandemic. But after cooking at home almost everyday, I did need a day off. So one day in May I decided to get some take out. I ordered the chicken saltomboca. Upon arriving to pick up my order I saw the local bay man delivering a fresh bushel of clams. Needless to say I was impressed that a pizza house was utilizing the best resource of local shell fish. I ordered the baked clams also. So my review of this local pizzeria. Always consistent and food done well. The baked clams are always on point. Whole clams with the proper amount of seasoning and toasted bread. Delicious. The chicken saltamboca can be cut with a fork. The preparation is done well with prosciutto fresh herbs and cheese. The brown sauce totally complements this dish. So after four months plus of this lockdown, I feel for all restaurants that are trying to stay afloat. The Covid 19 is responsible for me in ordering from this place weekly for the last three months. In the past I ordered pizza from another place when I can and from Rubin is when I wanted delivery because I preferred the other place but in the past year or so I'm not sure if rubinos is doing something different or it's just me but their pizza is better than most other places. I moved to the area about a year ago and discovered Rubino's about 2-3 months ago. They are my new go-to pizza spot. The owner and staff are always very friendly and wonderful. I'm vegetarian, and they offer a lot of vegetarian-friendly options that are hearty and thoughtful (spinach, garlic, onions, zucchini, eggplant) (aka more than the standard olives, green peppers, and mushroom option that most other places offer). I rotate between three pizzas - regular NY style with various veggie toppings, sicilian with various veggie toppings, and the stuffed veggie. All three are great, honestly the sicilian is my favorite but that's just my personal preference. My husband prefers the regular NY style. Both of us have been blown away by the stuffed pizza, but that isn't a pizza you order every week or anything simply because it's too beautiful and huge and filling to eat more than a few times a year. The stuffed pizza is fantastic and lasts for several meals. I'm sure that their meat stuffed pizzas are also amazing. Highly recommend that you try their stuffed pizza at least once, but order earlier on the night and try not to order on a Fri/Sat to be kind to the staff. These take awhile to make.
