I have been to many salons in Tucson and this one left me impressed! They are fairly new and in a super convenient location. The most impressive part was how CLEAN their shop is! It smells nice, everything is in its place, chairs are comfortable and again it's just so clean! I greatly appreciate that! They have a wide selection of colors and did a great job on my nails. RT Nails has become my new go-to nail salon. I've searched for a quality place like this in the area and have always come up short. I have received acrylics, a pedicure, and a dip manicure from here before. All have been amazing and lasted and incredibly long time and the price is great. The color options are endless which makes for a fun experience every visit. They also often have country music playing which I am a fan of!! Got a lousy pedicure from Sofia? Some nails filed square some round. Had to have the polish corrected because some nails you could see through the polish. She doesn't speak English so communicating was impossible! I paid extra for sugar scrub that didn't happen. read more

First time getting my nails done in 10yrs. I wasnt sure of what i wanted I am happy with my experience here. Im very picky so i did notice instant flaws that are probably only visible to my eye so its ok. I went with short and rounded square acrylics and now kinda regretting not going longer with a coffin shape. But theres always next time! Price was reasonable. read more

This review is for gel polish manicure. The pros - tons of colors, reasonably priced, clean and super nice customer service. The reason for two stars: technique. I've been getting gels for years and have been told by numerous nail techs not to soak in water as it shortens the life of the gel - makes it lift more. That said my last place (before I moved here used water and it didn't impact me much). Historically, good gels on me last 2.5-3 weeks. Ok gels last 2 weeks and are usually what's expected from gels. These started lifting after 9 days. Second technique issue... It's SOFT SOAK OFF GELS. The tech removed the top clear layer with a drill (like for acrylics) which should be done by hand. But ok. Next time I'd just do them myself before going. But then after the acetone wrap the color was lifting (as it should) and it could be flicked off with an orange stick or her nail. She used the drill again. I hinted that I didn't like that but was ignored. The drill is so bad for you. The combo makes me want to not return. And I really wanted to love this place based on the service and convenience. If you get acrylics or dips your experience may be better. read more

Just moved to the area and decided to give them a try, extremely disappointed when I walked out. Wait time wasn't too bad, considering I didn't have an appointment. Asked for SNS dip (powder) manicure and gel pedicure. Got the powder first and the nail technician didn't even cut my cuticles, just went straight to the nail drill and buffed the heck out of my nail. She was also the same lady answering the phone and paid more attention to that then my nails. It was done in such a rush that by the end they looked all bubbly and shaped weird. Worse part, the bed of my nails were throbbing after she finished for the whole day. Next was the pedicure, same thing, no cuticles were cut. One leg was massaged, the other was ignored. I asked her not to cut my nails and she still did it. It's been a week since I got my nails done there and instead of looking good, it looks like I got my nails done a month ago with crazy overgrown cuticles and paint already chipping. Let's just say I won't be returning. My advice find somewhere else. read more

Today Patti did my nails; a fill and gel polish. She works slowly and patiently and is SO precise. I didn't have to touch up any filing when I got home. This is the second time I've gone to this shop, and the best part is they are so friendly and welcoming. I've only had my nails done a half a dozen times ever because it wasn't necessarily a pleasant experience, but I'm keeping my nails done indefinitely now because I enjoy going to this shop.
