This is an area we are unfamiliar with and let alone we ended up pulling into this sketchy area as it was the closest off the freeway. It was so scary and we had to abandon our vehicle due to not being able to get roadside service right away. My family and I had to leave our vehicle behind an alley and run to find a safe place to find a tow company. I called a few places and they told them our situation and they were quoting $600+ plus to tow and drive us back to the Valley. I ended up finding Hawks via Yelp and decided to give them a call. I ended up speaking with a nice individual and he quoted us half the price. They came to our rescue and had to bring a flatbed due to the type of vehicle we had. He drove us all the way from Lynwood to the Valley. After going through such a traumatic and sad incident with my Father the Owner of Hawks drove us to our house safely he was kind, compassionate, he kept my sons spirits up and made us feel at ease and just safe. It turned out to be a great experience. I spoke with Mike on the phone. He sounded very professional and caring. As I explained the situation to Mike, he said he could be there in 20 minutes and he could tow the car to the nearest tire shop, so the car's tire can get repaired/replaced the next morning when the shop opens. He also said he would turn on his emergency light on his tow truck, so my son could identify him. Mike showed-up within the 20 minutes he promised. He carefully inspected the flat tire and determined it is something can be easily fixed. So, he fixed the tire on the spot and my son was able to drive home safely. This not only saved us the expense for towing the car, it also saved us from the hassle of going to the tire shop and pay the expenses for repairing or replacing the tire. Code 4 Towing definitely deserves the 5-star rating it received here for their service, their honesty and their customer caring. We went the day after my car got towed there to get all of my personal items out of it. While there is asked for my keys because it still had other stuff hanging on it that I needed, it wasnt just the car key. He said oh if the keys aren't in the car we dont have them. I went back to my car and looked in and under everything, not there. The guy went in the office to look around, came out again and said no we dont have them are you sure they're not in the care. I was so impressed by the excellent service I received. The street the truck had to be towed from was a two way busy street in Downey on Downey Ave. I didn't know how the truck was going to be able to get towed since the traffic in the evening there never stops and the position the truck was parked made it seem it would be difficult. AM PM Towing gets there and Richard helps us, it took him less than 10 minutes to get the truck onto his tow truck. I was so amazed by how fast he did evening. He was very kind and professional.
