Their tow truck damaged the wall around my house upon picking up my car for a tow. I spoke with the supervisor & texted with him several times. He old me he would repair the damage over the weekend, no one ever showed up. Said he'd come the following weekend, again no one showed up. Suing them might be my only option now. Terrible experience. I don't know how AAA vets who they subcontract out to but they dropped the ball with this company. I'd give them zero stars if I could. read more

Three stars because the customer service here it's just so unprofessional like I don't understand what's up with these chicks. They are so unhappy and miserable for some reason I've been in Montebello resident for over 13 years now I've had to deal with these people more than a handful of times and I wouldn't just say it for myself because I've been there and witness them be so rude to other people as well. Is one girl in particular I believe her name is Jessica. she's just so naïve l. The last visit I had an older gentleman assist me while I got my belongings out of my vehicle. my 1984 buick regal got towed a while ago and got sent here. when i got it out the yard i noticed damaged inside my interior which confused me. tow guy basically broke into my car, ran sacked my car and ripped out my back seats. looks like they were also trying to gain access to the trunk. broke my heart. sweet lady at the front desk with glasses has amazing customer service. expect ur car getting broken into especially if u own a classic car. god bless.. read more

My motorcycle (Suzuki GSXR600) was stolen and recovered the same day. Helms & Hill towed it to their towing yard as they have a contract with the L.A. Sheriffs Department of Pico Rivera. However, the California Highway Patrol/Vehicle Report stated it was not "wrecked," "burned," "vandalized," amongst other positive conditions on the check-off list--essentially, the motorcycle was in the condition of the report. When I saw it, it was wrecked and vandalized, plugs everywhere, their towing methods for a motorcycle are inexperienced; it was junk, in my opinion. The manager was not reasonable nor helpful. She personalized my questions to be accusatory, and there was absolutely no communication! Their price to release my motorcycle for less than 12 hours was $560. This towing company may have a contract with the Sheriffs Department and could be reputable, but what was on paper was an abuse of business etiquette, practice and they topped it off with unprofessionalism and disrespect! read more

This place seems like it's good but is very unprofessional. Jessica is a con artist. She gave me 3 different reasons why i was getting charged a towing charge even when i have triple A , she had disregarded my service call and marked it down as a drive up service call instead of a Triple A call. she tried to say my vehicle was taken by CHP and on the freeway. which both were not true but finally after 2 hours of talking to triple A on the phone and this towing place, they finally gave in to not give me towing charge because i have triple A. so she resorted to adding 1 more day to my storage fee to help them recope the $300 loss from not bein able to scam me because i didn't hold back jessica was very unhelpful she just wants money out of you and will make you feel like you're an issue and holding a line up when there's only one person in there. she will not tell you the best or cheapest way to go about things. she even went as far as telling the mechanic that i refused to pay which is untrue. Very unprofessional place. It's family owned it sucks they need a LOT of improvement. lady at the front desk doesn't even know what to say to you she needs her manager every single time and then they wonder why there's a line. read more

Helm and Hill was sent out to our house through AAA roadside assistance/battery help. After verifying that the battery needed to be changed, the man who came over stated that it wasn't under warrant. We called AAA to verify that the battery was indeed under warranty and we both (myself and the Helms & Hill guy) were on speaker with AAA when AAA told them and AUTHORIZED the battery swap . Then Helms &Hill rep in office (Jessica) stated they would not swap the battery due to their own internal process. We called AAA again and they apologized and said that the battery would be covered, but now Helms and Hill was saying that they had sold all the batteries they had in their inventory and it would be a couple of days before they could provide a car battery. If you have roadside assistance and AAA or your insurance suggest Helms&Hill tow do yourself a favor and request another tow Company. Nothing but rude and unwarranted behavior (Jessica). read more
