I had an appointment and just happened to be in the area a couple hours prior to my appointment and figured I would stop in and see if they could take me earlier and they immediately took me in. I have been going here for a very long time. I can't see myself going anywhere else I have never had a problem with my nails They never lift r chip. I've also had many pedicures done at royalty nails, and they are always amazing and I am always extremely happy with the service that I get and how they treat you. I have been going to royalty nail salon on and off for many years. I was just there recently. The owner was very rude to her son in front of people. She was yelling at him and than she was nasty to her tech. That so turned me off. I did the regular pedi for $35. The son checks me out and and tells me that I owe $39. I asked why that price? He tells me that their prices went up. We'll that was not true because one of the techs told her customer it was $35. The tech that did my pedi added the scrub and didn't even ask me. I thought that was part of the service. I was not happy that she took it upon herself to add it To my service and not even asking me. Well I won't be back read more

i went in for a mani pedi two days ago and did not have a good experience. Pedi was OK, nothing special, except the color was not a good match to the sample I'd chosen. I let that go. the manicure was actually PAINFUL and the tech drew blood twice! she said it was because of the way my nail was growing. I've been getting manicurems for decades and never experienced this before. My finger still hurts. Now after just TWO DAYS and not doing anything out if the ordinary, the polish on almost every nail is already chipping. total waste of time and money. I'd hoped for more based on other reviews but whatever polish they're using is not high quality and they definitely need to better train their technicians. Will not be back. read more

Booked an appt for a regular pedi/mani. A nail tech named Mary did my manicure & it was a very awkward interaction from the beginning. She was not a warm individual, from which I gathered from the moment she walked out of the salon giving me the stink eye while on her cell phone as I was patiently waiting to be serviced. The Owner proceeded to run after her, I guess to remind her that a customer was waiting. That likely may be where the disconnect originated from... could I have interrupted her break...not sure? I was patient & was not feeling at all anxious abt having to wait. Moving along, I sat down for my much anticipated mani & it was anything but relaxing or enjoyable. Mary kept making comments about my toes because they naturally turn up due to my very pronounced arch & was very annoyed at something that was obviously out of my control and TRUST!...I actually tried, which made matters worse. The pedicure while regular with no bells & whistles, was one of the most uncomfortable experiences I've ever had. She didnt cut my nails short enough as I requested, the square shape was changed to some other weird shape, & she cut uneven. Nail polish was left on my skin and she didn't push my cuticles back at all. Fast forward to Mary's start of my manicure...she kept doing this weird thing where she'd hold the aluminum foil close to her & wait for me to bring my hand further forward to her. To start, I already had my arms extended further than was comfortable! Tto make it worse, because I was watching a podcast on my phone, I only realized she was waiting on me to extend even further because there was an awkward pause/ silence in between each foil application. Finally I said straight to her, what is going on here...what are we doing??? She just looked at me in a surprised way, didn't even respond but did stop the weird behavior. I gave her my hands to do her thing & I still had to stay so engaged...I was stressed & was over the interaction so when Mary walked away briefly, I ended up discretely asking a young man that was working the phone & tending shop to switch me to someone else. Tiffany took over for my manicure and she was lovely...polar opposite...very warm temperament, took her time, and although it was a simple manicure, it was a pleasurable experience. I will go back and will only book Tiffany. My experience with Mary started off awful but ended on a good note with Tiffany. From my observation, the remaining staff overall seemed to be nice and good at what they do. This place was highly recommend and although I didn't want to leave this review, I thought the level of professionalism was so off putting that others should know. I hope the establishment takes this as constructive criticism and ensures all customers are treated with care & respect. read more

Phenomenal pedicures sometimes don't come at a good price. I'm glad to report that this isn't the case at Royalty Nail Salon. It had been 14 months since my last pedicure, which was for my wedding, four months before the pandemic. I don't love getting pedicures and look at them as a necessary evil. Trust me when I say that I was in dire need of one (you don't want to even know what my heels looked like). I went in on a whim, as it's located a few doors from my dentist's office. I'm notoriously terrible when it comes to making appointments and prefer to drop in for mani/pedis. Elena, the owner, kindly greeted me when I walked in and said she could fit me in before her next appointment. Score, because otherwise I would have walked out and probably wouldn't have returned until my next dentist appointment. She showed me the pedicure menu and I'm not one for fancy chocolate/blueberry etc stuff but the callus removal caught my eye (it's only $5 or so more than a plain pedicure and I STRONGLY recommend it). This was one of the best pedicures that I've ever had. First, she respected my request for no massage (hate them). Second, the callus removal machine is not a cheese grater or razor but an electric instrument that gets the calluses off without pain or discomfort. Nice! Third, not sure what that hot oil was that she used on my heels, but wow, my feet right now are like buttah. The pedicure was so great, that I'm now compelled to make an appointment for next time. I'm so impressed with this place. Admittedly my LAST pedicure was here (for my wedding) and while I loved the nail tech because she was so nice and accommodating, I didn't love the mani pedi. I'm giving 1 star because I can't give none. treated my teenaged daughter and her friend terribly and made them feel uncomfortable. What should have taken 1 hr took 3, and they kept leaving to attend to others. left my daughter's nails bleeding and refused a refund. Tried to grab my daughter to pull her nails off and she's out $60. The girls called the friend's mother who got them out of there. Employees tried to film my daughter's license plate but her friend's mom prevented that. There are plenty of reputable salons out there. I would recommend them over this place. read more

I was lucky to have Tiffany do my nails, even though I didn't make an appointment (lesson learned) Tiffany was fantastic, she was gentle with my nails, friendly, patient and she even helped pick the best color. I visited on my 65 birthday as a treat to myself I picked the 50 $ pedicure. While the end result looks good,the pedicure was only a 25$ service. There was no leg massage ,more of a lotion rub. The warm foot bath had no bubbling action whatsoever. And no foot massage at all. My toenails which were all filed straight and were nearly the perfect length are now crooked, and too Short. Mary used an electric device to remove clauses, but did not get all of them And I did not have a lot to begin with. I also had a, manicure also no hand massage,no cuticle cream . And a lot of ruff cuticle was left. I brought my own polish. Essie Gel counture which normally dries very quickly,but Mary applied it so thick that it smudged an hour later. The salon seemed clean, tools seemed to be sanitized. I think the service at this salon depends on who you get. I would not return to this salon. Although the other girls seem to be quite busy and quite good. The nail tech that I got seem to be lacking in many skills in performing a pedicure in manicure correctly. Just for some background I worked in a salon for 45 years. I have a cosmetology license. The salon I worked in for the past 13 years had nail techs that performed pedicures and manicures manicures manicures. So I'm quite familiar with what goes on with a pedicure. Not to mention I've had many salons in my area. They have always included a foot and leg massage even with the basic $30 pedicure. And the basic $20 manicure always included a hand massage. From the welcome and helpful phone inquiry about their services (once you go SNS you never go back to acrylic) to the ease of appointment set up and treatment, I was sold. Plus, the prices were competitive, especially for what you get. It's the small details that really matter. RNS has a boutique nail salon feel without a pretentious atmosphere. Elena was professional and her staff very attentive. Having read the reviews, I decided to get their callus removal pedicure ($35) which left my feet incredibly soft and smooth. No razors or graters here; instead they use a small buffing machine (think: travel size blow dryer) that proved quite effective. In the spirit of 4th of July wknd and plans to attend a 40th bday party, I was feeling whimsical yet romantic. So when Elena suggested a nail design, I figured why not?! I was happy with the results and will definitely be returning. BUT - what sealed the deal, convincing me that this would become "my salon," was the complimentary hot stone massage included in the pedicure and nail service. If I could give no stars I would do just that. I scheduled appointments for 3 people and they said okay for 1:30pm. Get there and we all had to wait over 30 minutes before 2 of us were taken care of and over 1 hour for the other individual. Then when the last individual was escorted to the pedicure chair there was a roach crawling on the chair and the lady squashed it on the chair and still expected her to sit there. First time coming here I follow them on instagram and I thought they did amazing work because that's what instagram showed so I went to get a full acrylic set and a pedicure. Well my nails look horrible started lifting the next day and later that day I ended up with an infection on my toe. DEFINITELY will not be coming back was not worth it very disappointed. read more

Took my daughter to get her nails there after three days her nails fell off. I called her to let her know. The next day I went and she said the reason why her nails fall off is because your nails are too tiny I cannot do this , I said fine. Give me my money back and we'll holiday deal she would not give me the money back. She insisted on putting new nails, but she can't promise that they were going to last I said, that makes no sense. She proceeded to continue doing her nails and as she's doing that she's taking pictures of my daughter. I told her to stop taking pictures she told me no she has to do it. I am SO tired of nail places where the technicians could care less, they don't speak to you or engage in your preference, and they do the bare minimum. Royalty is the first nail salon I've ever gone to where they debated my suggested design, offered suggestions, measured the length of my nails to make sure everything was even, and were excessively careful to match my right hand to my left. My nails are immaculate, and they put in SO much time. Hands down I will be back. They are skilled, professional, and dedicated. Stunning work. read more

Worse mani/pedi ever. The way my toenails were trimmed left the skin around my nails sore for 2 weeks my fingers not much better. I have natural nails and they were cut to different lengths and edges were not smooth. Came here based off other good reviews and pictures. Left so disappointed in the way my manicure turned out. First of all, I asked for square shape, half of my nails are round and half are square. The polish is so messy. There is so much polish on my fingers, especially the gel top coat pouring over my cuticles and onto my finger underneath my nail. On one of my nails there is a piece of hair dried into the gel. I was so upset with how they looked and had no faith in their ability to make it any better that I just paid and left. I immediately called another nail salon and made an appointment there to get them redone. I will never be returning here. read more

I came in for a new gel extension set and pedicure but left without a pedicure. I had to correct the staff who began doing a regular gel mani even after confirming multiple times I wanted an extension. I switched nail techs and he used plastic nails rather than building them with the gel, dropped the nail brush multiple times, spilled nail polish everywhere, and did not give me any say in the length of the nail. This might have been due to the fact he used cheap plastic nails. During my manicure alone they changed employees four times. I was never taken to get my scheduled pedicure, which I would not have stayed for anyways even if they had remembered. I will not be returning. read more

Owner always does outstanding job at the salon. She takes pride in what she does in the work she creates. She is always very nice and if there's anything wrong she will absolutely have no problem fixing it. I definitely recommend going if you want really cute designs or just good quality nail work. Only giving one star because I have to...otherwise it would have been zero. Would not recommend this place. Called around 1pm on a Sunday to make an appointment for 2pm. Girl answering phone sounded a bit unsure but said OK. I hurried with my plans and made sure to get there by 2pm. Checked in and girl said I would be taken in just a moment. Meanwhile, two women walked in together. They said they had no appointment. They were informed that it would be best to have an appointment because they are busy. The women said they had no idea but would wait. A manicurist became available, came out, and grabbed the two girls. She told me it would be "just a minute." I wait. And wait. It's now 2:26pm. I ask the receptionist how much longer. She said, "Not much." I said, "I had an appointment at 2pm, they had no appointment and were taken." She said, "I know. I'm sorry. She just grabbed them. It will just be 10 more minutes." So I wait. In 10 minutes, a manicurist came over. She took a look at my nails and asked me, "Are these yours?" Ummm what? I said, "Well, these are my acrylic nails, yes. What do you mean? Like, it's white and pink powder..." Then she goes, "Are these your real nails?" Ummm what? "Well, no. My real nails are underneath..." She goes, "OK." So then I ask, "Hey, how long is this going to take?" She replies, "An hour and a half." What?!?! For a FILL?! Okay this place is insane. I said, "No thanks, I have to be somewhere at 4pm, which is why I CALLED and made an appointment!" Needless to say, I stormed out. Do not come here. I've been getting pedicures for over three decades and this one was, hands down, the best I ever had! Gel polish, soothing cream massage, and even paraffin wax at the end! I came here for the first time today, in search of a new nail salon and I will absolutely be returning. The salon is well kept, and has a huge variety of colors with these fake nails on them so you can see how it would look on your nail - I have never seen this before and it's a brilliant idea. I got the paraffin spa pedicure and it was delightful. They used this machine for callus removal and did not need to apply the harsh chemicals that I am use to for callus removal. The machine was gentle and effective. The paraffin dip was so relaxing and they put my feet in little booties to keep in the heat and maximize effectiveness. I also loved the little flower toe separators they used instead of the more commonly seen foam blocks. For my gel manicure, they put your hands in these fingerless gloves - I guess to protect from the UV of the light which was also something I've never seen. I'm so pleased with the prices and services and will def make this my new go-to for nails. read more
