My friend and i booked an appointment for two acrylic full sets. we got there when our appointment was but weren't seen for about 10-15 minutes, which is okay sometimes they're busy. We got seated together and they started their prep. I have incredibly brittle nail beds and any aalon ive gone to has taken their time to be gentle so im not in pain, this time however from the first step I was feeling pain from the drills and their prep. When the first guy was done with my prep, another came over and repeated the same steps making my already thin nails even more thin. We had specifically booked ACRYLIC nail sets not only for the cheaper price, but since I know gel x burns my fingers beyond tolerance. They without checking in or asking instantly began with a gel x fill, which is $70 instead of $45 since i also got french tips, and it was too late to say anything. When it was time to put my hand is the lamp i was in so much pain i was squirming and had to take my hand out of the lap because i could not tolerate the pain. I was then given no sympathy and told to put my hand BACK IN THE LAMP. Finally we got through it and they started the designs, and i was never told it was a charged price per finger for design, i was not told a single bit of pricing until the very end. the designs were nothing like the photos i had shown them and they never asked me for clarity. All of this and i still have nails that are noticeably crooked, different sizes, and my friends nails were cut 3 times AFTER she told them the length was perfect so she now has paid for nails that are half the size that she wanted. We will never be returning here her and i have been getting our nails done together for 2 years and this is the worst experience we have ever had. But at least we left with a $3 off coupon mine were $130 after tip her were $100 after tip, and by the way tip is apparently included which was again never said to us. read more

Love Tokyo nail! They are all great nail techs honestly. They offer free beverages, and comfortable seating if there is a wait. It always feels clean in there as well. I been getting my nails done there for over a year. The only time I ever had any problems with my nails after leaving was this last time. I got a gel x full set put on and a day or 2 later had 2 pop off. I would like to note that I have short ass nails so they had very little to work with . I also think I requested them too long. I called and they got me in that day to reattach them. They also trimes and filed my nails, gave me 2 little massages and the whole manicure experience again! I was getting my nails done and I literally just watched a customer get charged $40 for a simple design and the customer stated that she notices the price is different every time. Now as I go to pay after my new gel set $60 and pedicure $40, she (Emily) states that there is $5 up charge for almond nails. Only square nails are $60! They are willing to lose loyal customers to surprise pricing and nonsense charges! The new management are thieves and sad but I am ending my 4 year relationship with this salon because of what I saw and experienced. Do not go unless you want to be robbed and overcharged. This is a crappy basic run of the mill nail salon, good if you're in a pinch & haven't had an experience in a better salon - the prices are alright for the area but the staff don't stick to appointments and rush through their work. I literally just spent $30 on a French pedi since they gave me a coupon from my last awful experience there; the lines are incredibly thick, poorly done & the two employees who performed it couldn't wait to be done. I was given a $5 coupon from a few weeks ago when I came with my stepdaughter for pedicures (had an appointment) & spent two and a half hours there. Requested us to be done at the same time when I made the appointment. They sat her next to me, rushed through mine, completely forget about her pedicure, after I reminded them it still took them 15 minutes to start her, and tried to rush her out the door before remembering I had scheduled a manicure for her as well. The owner/manager kept apologizing & touching my arm, and I kindly asked her to not touch me & complete my stepdaughters services. After my pedicure was done I waited for her for over an hour. Base and top coat were not fully applied to nails. I went a few times to this place and am Very annoyed. The last time I had David and he rushed my manicure and pedicure. He did not cut my cuticles or soak my hands in warm wAter. He also didn't put paraffin on my heels.Very rude and the store manager couldn't wait to push me out of the seat. They are not cleanly at all. The tools are not sanitized. Talk about health code violations. Hope someone calls the department of health on them I am sure they will be fined. Staff is rude. Steer clear... going back to my old nail Place as they are cleaner and friendlier. Worth the extra money. Not a lousy half ass mani and pedi for 28... I've been going to this Nail Salon for a long time (I believe they changed ownership not too long ago but most of the same staff has remained). They have constantly exceeded my expectations and the quality of their work almost never disappoints me. Hanna, I think is either the owner or a manager and she is always so friendly whenever I or anyone else walks in the front door. I've never had any issues with any of the staff and they are always very friendly. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait, especially during popular business hours for this type of place but I promise the wait is definitely worth it and they work as fast as possible to make sure everyone is helped within a reasonable amount of time. Never been here before but my friend comes here and gets her nails done by Maggie. I had Linda for a pedi and Angie for a Mani. The mani was ok, felt a little a bit rushed but my nails came out good! I picked the lavender pedi which is $10 more than a regular pedi. The extra $10 is worth it. The massage I received was nice and the hot rocks were a nice finish. This place does a good job on your nails and toes but are pricey and kind of a rip off. They advertise mani & pedi for $25 I got gel manicure & pedicure asked if I would still get the deal but would pay a little extra for the gel the lady said yes it'll be 15 for gel go up there to pay and it's suddenly 50 dollars instead of 40, so 25 for each.
