Needed a matcha to wake me up. This was good. It was a very quick turnaround. At 11 am, there was definitely no people.
This is the best boba in Orlando. The service is really nice they help you walk through the menu and are very courteous. They ambiance is great as well, but I wish there was more space to sit and talk
Royal Tea is my new go to spot for boba in Orlando. I tried their matcha crème brûlée with boba and it was amazing. The drink was milky and sweet with a perfect balance of matcha flavor. If you are looking for a good matcha boba drink this is the place to go. Matcha drink was so good me and my 4 friends got 4 orders of the it! I like that they let you choose your sweetness level, so you can do 25 percent, 50 percent, or more depending on your taste. They also have other great options like mango tea and original milk tea with a chai twist. The atmosphere is cozy and they have plenty of indoor seating, which makes it a nice place to relax. The service is also very polite and they will even let you change your drink if you do not like it.
On my second visit I give this place a 4, the first round was a 2 star at best. The first time I had the caffe latte with the whipped mousse. It was gross to say the least. I'm not a person who likes super sugary drinks (I usually get 50% sweetness when I order boba) I got regular sweetness this round and the drink didn't taste like there was any sugar at all. To make it worse, the mousse on top was salty and had a weird texture. Not sure why, but they also put matcha powder on top of the mousse, seems random to me and I'm someone who loves matcha lol. My friend got the royal three and was gracious enough to share the deliciousness with me. Loved that one a lot! There are better boba shops around Orlando including within walking distance so this one is a skip for me. The staff is friendly and the store is clean so that is a plus.
I love this place. They are always consistent with the drinks. You can change the level of sweetness and ice. The menus will inform you on all the ingredients in each item so you will always know what it is in it. I will say they add something extra that I can't replicate so that's why I always go back because it's wonderful. My husband can't wait to go back for when they have the peppermint version of black milk tea. They are always friendly and helpful when you ask.
No exaggeration when I say this is the worst tea spot in Orlando. I always get the same thing whenever I'm at tea shops: Jasmine tea, add milk, boba, and lychee jelly. However, when I came to order their Jasmine tea and I asked to add milk, they told me they couldn't. I asked "oh do you guys not carry milk tea". They said that they do however, it's "store policy" to only add milk to ONE specific tea and you cant add it to any other tea on their menu... I have never heard of a place telling you you can't add milk (something that they do carry and sell) to their drinks. I suggest management get rid of this silly rule. That'd be like going to Starbucks, asking to add milk to your coffee and them saying no. There's only one drink on their menu that you can add milk to. There were also more restrictions on modifications to your tea such as toppings, boba, lychee, etc. Because of all of the rules and restrictions and not simply being able to add milk to any of their tea or drink options (even thought they carry it), I suggest going to any of the other hundreds of way better tea spots in Orlando. Now onto the actual tea itself, I was disappointment that after all of their tea ordering rules I still ended up getting the Jasmine tea which was gross.. the Jasmine flavor was almost non existent and I'm not sure what sweetener they add to their drinks but it was really nasty and left a weird after taste.
Food quality: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Value: 4/5 First time trying RoyalTea out and got the Royal Bubble Tea. The staff was nice and the cafe was clean. I wish that there was a better indicator of which drink were dairy vs non-dairy and also what ingredients make up the drink. The menu board was pretty plain and if you wanted more detail, you have to ask for each drink. The boba was not great. Texture was fine, but it was bland and had no taste. Not sure if they forgot to soak the boba in sugar, but it was not flavorful at all. The tea itself was ok, not a very strong tea flavor. That might have just been an off day, but probably won't be going back.
One of my favorite tea places in the Orlando area! The tea always tastes super fresh and they use wonderful ingredients and fresh fruit. While their menu is more limited than some boba tea places, I think that is for the best as every item is a great choice. Everything we have tried here has been delicious! My two favorites to get are the Matcha Latte and the Lemon Lime Tea. You can also adjust sweetness and choose the type of milk you would like. The tea comes out quickly and the employees have always been so friendly. There are a couple of seats inside the store, and it is a great place to sip on tea and hang out. The only food options available are two dessert options (crème brûlée). But if you are looking for a food or snack, hop over to King Bao that is right next door!
Royaltea has been one of my go to boba spots since they've opened. Their menu is definitely smaller compared to many other boba spots but I like that that their tea is fragrant and just has good flavor overall. Their boba however, is pretty bland and the texture isn't very consistent. At times it's either old or undercooked, where it's not chewy throughout and has a hard center. And the boba doesn't have any sort of flavor or sweetness, some boba shops sweeten their boba a bit so it doesn't taste as bland. Staff is kind, the inside is pretty small and industrial design inside, but parking is a pain since it's street parking only. But overall I still recommend royaltea, I usually go for the Royal Three or the Cheese Mousse Jasmine Green tea.
Ordered the Royal Milk Tea, absolutely delicious. It was sweet, creamy, and had a nutty taste as well, which I usually like in a classic milk tea. The place we decorated in a minimalist style, which fit the aesthetic. And of course, service was quick and the employees were considerate and nice.
After finishing lunch at BB.Q Chicken, my friend suggested we walk to get bubble tea at this location down the street and around the corner. It's down one the streets off of Colonial and it's a small, intimate space where you can get your tea and go or sit and chill for a bit. This is the first shop I've been to where they make milk tea drinks with condensed milk instead of fresh milk, non-dairy creamer, or any non-dairy milk of your choice. The Royal 3 tea cannot be adjusted, but the regular Royal Milk tea can be adjusted for sweetness. My friend got the former and I got the latter with half sweetness and boba. Drinks were quick and only took a minute and a half. The staff were polite and worked quickly to get orders out to the window. My friend and I sat for a while and chatted with our drinks for a while. The tea had a great flavor not watered down by the add-ons or condensed milk and and the condensed milk added a creaminess to the drink. Pricing was on par with what I've paid for at other bubble tea shops. With regard to parking, street parking is your best bet, unless you're dining at a nearby establishment and can walk over quickly without getting towed. Do not park in Publix - they warn about towing people very clearly. I would come back here again.
I rarely get anything when I bring my son here. I saw they had the milk tea with taro and decided to try it. Was not really a fan. It's just milk tea with taro mixed into it in pieces. But otherwise we're usually happy campers here.
The tea was really good. The boba isn't super soft, but is sweet. The person at the register was super helpful in assisting me in making my decision and helping me customize my drink. It's a small place but very casual. I would be back.
Royaltea is very good, and what I liked the most is the different flavors and the Mousse Foam. It's almost a cream cheese mousse at the top - and I thought it added variety and more of a savory flavor to the drink. I ordered the peach oolong which was very light with the cheese mousse foam with boba. I didn't care much for the boba - it didn't have much sweetness to it and wasn't as soft as I usually like it. I ordered the Matcha Milk Tea with Mousse Foam and I thought this drink was much better, and got it sans boba this time. I like how the offerings are a bit different than your typical boba place. They also have fresh fruit drinks - where they put whole fruit in the drinks themselves. I would love to come here again to try other things as well! read more
One of the best boba tea places in Orlando. Consistently great!!!! I got the mousse milk tea with 50% of the normal amount of sugar with mousse topping. Friendly staff, modern and hip environment. Boba is cooked to perfection! I am a repeat customer. Also had the Matcha Latte in the past. Price point: $4 to $5.80. I only wished they had more pictures of their offerings next to the menu so while we are in line we can already start reviewing. They do have a menu with the description near the register. read more
I like this place, but they can't accommodate large orders. Every time I have visited the place gets easily backed up and lose track of who ordered first. Watched people behind us get their drinks, asked them about it and still watched them mix up all prelabeled cups. Unlucky for us, our cups kept getting mixed to the back of the line. How.... For the price of their drinks, my expectations are higher for them. Remember to adjust your sugar order if sensitive to sweet because their drinks are on sweeter side. read more

This was my first time having boba tea. My kid's are into Anime and Asian culture, so I decided to try this place. My partner is also a tea snob (we frequent Spice and Tea Exchange). He loved the jasmine tea, and I loved the mango tea. The staff was friendly and helpful explaining the ingredients. I bought the crème brûlée for one of the kids (didn't get a picture), but she liked it. read more
Finally got around to trying out the trendy Royaltea. Parking was fairly easy in the middle of the day and service was fast. They have an array of freshly made tea choices but nothing like a Thai tea or Taro tea as I was expecting so I opted to try their Royaltea with boba and their Lychee tea with cheese mousse and boba. I got both beverages 50% sweet which was perfect for me but not as sweet for my friend. The Royaltea was okay but the Lychee tasted pretty good, I actually would get it without the cheese mousse which was just okay in my opinion, I honestly might've enjoyed it better without. Overall, it was good to try out but not somewhere that I would crave. read more

A good boba & tea place right next to King Bao in the heart of Viet town! I have heard all the rage about this place & I must say that it lived up to the hype. They have a simple menu and if you're craving the cheese foam teas that have been going viral, this is the place to try it. I've had cheese tea twice before and didn't really get into it but this place definitely converts you! My usual order is a matcha tea. Now, this is a drink order that you think people can't mess up but I've had my share of bad matcha drinks. This place was NOT one of them. On the contrary, it's actual one of my favorites. Best believe I'll be back next time I'm in town to try more of their other drinks. read more

Awesome additional Tea Spot that I need when I am in the area. I have been here a couple of times and really enjoy the concept and layout of the place. My go to drink is the Lychee Cheese mouse tea and the Fresh fruit tea. Very delicious and not overly sweet. Great minimal selection of teas and not to overwhelming when you are reading the menu. I have yet to try their desserts but have heard a few good things about it. I will defiantly have to try it next time! I tend to bring people here if they are visiting from other places and they end up loving this place also! I do wish they open a location on the west side of town, since I'm not always on Mills. Don't forget to sign up for their clover rewards! read more

Highly recommended drinks: Mousse milk tea Royal fruits tea Royal bubble tea My friends and I recently discovered this place (apparently we are super late on this lol). We have collectively tried the mousse milk tea, the royal fruits tea, the matcha latte, the rose pu'er, the peach oolong with cheese mousse, and the royal bubble tea. I personally haven't tried any drinks with the cheese mousse because I don't like cheese (except for mozzarella, I know, I know, I'm weird but stop judging me) but everyone I take here that tried the mousse milk tea emphatically says they love it. They don't just like it, they love it. The cheese mousse is apparently made from cream cheese and it gives a nice salty contrast to the rest of the sweet liquid in your drink. If you want a refreshing drink then you need to get the royal fruits tea. It tastes as good as it looks. It comes with sliced fruit and chia seeds. The chia seeds add a nice touch because you chew them as you sip the tea. The boba here are not over cooked nor are they undercooked. They are perfectly good boba. Make sure you don't park in the wrong place or you will be towed. Street parking is safe. This place gets packed so also be aware it might not be the most relaxing or easiest place to hang out for long. I wish they had a drive thru! read more

ROYALTEA reigns with their unique yet simple flavored drinks. I believe the hype because they know how to satisfy the palate with just the right amount of sweetness and balance of the drinks we ordered. Walking in, it was pretty packed for a tight and narrow space. ROYALTEA came prepared on a Sunday night because there was plenty of staff (~8) working behind the counter to bring out drinks at a timely manner. The atmosphere is modern and earthy. They use wooden planks with embossed writing to showcase their menu, which is unique and creative compared to changeable TV screens or paper menus at other shops. Ordering was fast and easy because of their short menu. We got Fruit Tea, Cheese Mousse Rose Pu'er, Strawberry Milk Tea and Mousse Coffee. Everything is about $5 each. Fruit Tea was gorgeous with thin sliced assorted citrus and basil seeds, and green tea base. It was refreshing and had just the right amount of sweetness. Cheese Mousse Rose Pu'er had a pretty layered presentation. Label suggested to drink it at 45* to try all layers before mixing it. It was creamy and had a satisfying rose flavor, and the boba was chewy and delicious. Mousse Coffee has a salty and sweet after taste that reminded me of Sea Salt cream. It was really good as well. I didn't try the Strawberry Milk Tea, but my friend enjoyed it. Tip: Check-in for a free topping! We'll be back! read more

SO SO good! First thing to know: DO NOT PARK IN THE BACK PARKING LOT. You will be towed. They suggest parking along Mills / 17-92. Just be careful when you swing your door open because Mills is a highly trafficked road. This place is small but they do a great job with what they've got. If you go after 5pm, you'll probably run into a long line of people looking to get a drink here. The Royaltea Cheese Mousse is amazing. Don't let the cheesy drink intimidate you. The drink is comprised of tea but has a thick top layer of a silky whipped cream like texture. This drink will fill you up. It's a rich dessert in a drink. It may not be for everyone but it's essentially a smooth and creamy milkshake/tea concoction and is totally worth trying once. If you're not feeling brave enough to try it, you can't go wrong with the mango yogurt or strawberry yogurt tea drinks, or even the Royal Milk Tea or Royal Bubble Tea. All are amazing. They all contain caffeine so don't drink these too late in the evening if you want to be able to fall asleep. Another major bonus is that Royaltea is right next door to King Bao. It's an amazing combo that you should absolutely do ASAP. read more
Worth the wait! Almost every time you drive by this place, you'll see a line out the door for ROYALTEA but there's good reason for it. This cafe is not just your average sweetened boba tea joint. Their taste is unique and the quality of the tea is high quality. The inside is quite small hence the long lines and it has minimal decor but it's clean and homey. I also love their cups, they are made of a hard plastic and doesn't just soften when you squeeze it. The little heart covering on top is an added bonus. They also use buzzers to let you know when you're order is ready in case you wanted to grab a bite to eat next door. The menu has so many options from drinks to desserts. I tried the ROYALTEA Fruits Tea which was beautifully made with fresh slices of orange, lime, lemon, kiwi, apple and grapefruit inside. It's semi-sweet and has a rich tea flavor with delicate notes of the different fruit. I also got a Rose Pu'er with Cheese Mousse Topping. It was my first time trying cheese mousse and I LOVED IT. The rose tea was very fragrant and the mousse wasn't super strong but added a nice contrast to the tea. Both drinks made me question what the 'boba tea' drinks I've had before were. read more
Long lines but worth it. They have an ordering system that moved the line fast. You'll get a pager that will buzz when your drink is ready. Their drink size is huge. The cups are super sturdy and cute too. There are just enough types of drinks where you won't get a headache just trying to decide. FYI They don't serve food. I love the environment. It's clean, simple and bright. For drinks, I got the mango yogurt drink with lychee and grass jelly. The drink itself was a bit sweet but still had good flavors. I ordered it with less ice since I can't ask for no ice. And I was able to substitute milk for coconut milk instead. My friend ordered a fruity tea and the classic boba tea which were both really good. I'd definitely recommend this place ! read more

Let's say I'm a boba/tapioca fanatic, and each time I visit a different city I like to scope out the boba scene. We ordered: 1. Royal Fruit Tea with Ice Jelly - fresh, not overly sweet 2. Peach Oolong Cheese Mousse Tea with Tapioca plus less sweet - nice flavor, loved the creamy cheese mousse, tapioca perfectly chewy PRO TIPS: street parking only, 1 free topping upon Yelp check-in Long story short, I'm glad I stumbled upon this place! read more
I feel like I've always heard good things regarding Royaltea, so I decided to give it a visit. I've given this place at least 2 tries (since I'm not from the Orlando area, I don't get to go very often), but from my brief experiences, I feel like I understand the popularity of this place. Firstly, their menu is fairly small, but I don't mind that since I was still satisfied with what they had on the menu. My first time, I ordered the Royaltea with boba. I have to say, for a boba cafe, I was not satisfied with the boba. The tea, however, was fairly decent. My second time, I ordered the Royal Fruit Tea with boba, which was perfect for those who do not like a super sweet tea. I got the boba again to try it, but was very unsatisfied again. The only reason I am taking away a star is because of the inconvenient parking in the area, and the unsatisfactory boba. As for the parking, there is only street parking available near the cafe, with only 3-4 spots available, and there is no parking in the back of the cafe for customers, which is inconvenient since the cafe is so popular. Otherwise, I would come here again, but would advise against ordering the boba, and sticking with another topping instead. read more

I've been waiting so patiently to try royal tea!! It's been on my YELP bookmarked restaurants for 2020 and I finally made it in 2021! Their drinks all over the Yelp app and Instagram look spectacular but as a person who isn't a huge boba tea fan I wasn't sure they had anything for me. Luckily today I got the fruit tea and it was AMAZING!! It reminded me of these fruit drinks I used to get in my hometown as a kid! Nostalgia! The cups they came in were sooooo adorable (and reusable) I washed mine a kept it! I will definitely be stopping by again! I went to the Royal Tea that was in East End Market. I really don't mind if I add a topping and you charge me, but at least put a fair amount of it in there. I asked for herbal jelly and either the workers are trying to save on the toppings so they don't have to make more, or the management/owner is super cheap. I usually come here but definitely will reconsider all the other boba spot (On a separate occasion) Workers are also young college teens with not much customer service and texting on phones constantly. They were rude to customers that came before closing and girl pink haired girl yelled without and warning "WE ARE CLOSED". All the customers sitting down with their drinks looked at each other and smiled in shock at each other and got up and left. Time on the clock? 9:55pm 5 minutes before closing, mind you these are people that came in before they closed. Coming from the food industry myself, it's fair to not take in additional people, or politely ask paying customers to leave but this girl literally gave attitude. If you don't want to work then don't, no one is forcing you to be in this industry. read more
ROYALTEA seems like boba made for royalty. It's a bit pricey for what you get, which is definitely pretty good boba. Super insta-worthy, no matter where you're seated, which I find very admirable. I ordered the Royal Three because I can't resist "free" toppings when they're offered. My sister ordered the peach oolong with boba (free topping with Yelp check-in) and my parents got the Royal Bubble Tea to share. There is only one size, as seems to be the trend these days at many new bubble tea shops. You can adjust the sugar and ice level, which made my drink the perfect sweetness. The Royal Three has boba, grass jelly and pudding. I got lightly sweet but it was still a bit sweet. I knew what I was getting myself into by ordering the Royal Three, though, since those toppings are pretty sweet on their own. We were not a fan of the peach oolong - not sure what they use for the peach but it didn't taste natural. The oolong itself was fine. Overall, ROYALTEA was fine. Not my favorite but it's an insta-worthy spot that's worth a try. I did like the Royal Three and hope to try the Royal Fruits Tea next time. They do have a rewards program that may help with some discounted savings. read more
Yummy! Stopped by on a weekend day and it's hard to find parking, but there was no wait inside the store. I ordered the traditional Royal Bubble Tea ($4.50) with less sugar. There's only one size for the drinks in their custom made skinny cup. It was amazing, and surprisingly, with chocolatey notes balanced by black milk tea. Their milk tea reminds me of TBaar's, but Royaltea has more of a chocolate flavor. Of course, the boba was perfectly chewy and not too sweet. The boba to tea ratio was just right for me. I will definitely stop by again to try the cheese mousse teas! read more

Amazing!!! Always gotta hit up ROYALTEA when I am in Orlando! Their teas are extremely different from other places that I have ever tasted! Their menu is very short and sweet, which makes it easier to order. I think having such a limited menu will allow the customers to know the great selection that made the cut. I always order the lychee black tea with cheese mousse and it is always fresh and perfect to my liking. I have also tasted the peach oolong tea. They are both my favorite go-to drinks when I am in ROYALTEA. The location is on a busy street and parking was hard to find because it is a street parking. Make sure you only park on designated parking spots because other businesses are towing and giving tickets if you park in the lot while going to a different store. read more
Did I hear aesthetically pleasing? Yes, please! Super hip and edgy vibe, with a variety of fresh teas and small desserts, all is here - well, just about. Having tried a couple of the drinks since soft opening, the Royal Fruit Tea and Mango Yogurt are my favorites, as they are both refreshing with the perfect amount of sweetness. You may ask for less ice if you wish to, if you want to take more than just a few sips of your drink before it is gone. Parking is tight and it is ideal to not park in the parking lot behind the building - as you may be towed. This is what happens when businesses do not want to pay for customer parking. Came to Royaltea for the first time and the employees welcomed me once I came in. I had some trouble deciding on a drink but one of the girls helped me choose. I got the Cheese Mousse Peach Oolong with boba and the Mousse Matcha, and I liked that I was able to choose the sweetness level. The Peach Oolong was good but I could barely taste the cheese mousse since I was using a straw to drink it to get to the boba. I tried mixing it but still barely tasted it, and the boba itself didn't have any flavor or sweetness to it. The Mousse Matcha was good but over time it left an unpleasant after taste. Overall I think it was good, their boba just needs flavoring. read more
While in the area, we decided to make a pit-stop at Royaltea. The only available parking was street parking and at that time, it was rush hour so it was pretty difficult to find some parking. I got the Royal milk tea with cheese foam and boba. I did 50% sweetness and 50% ice. I think next time, I will choose 75% sweetness because the tea was much stronger than I wanted it to be haha. I also checked in through the yelp app and got free boba :D Their boba was chewy and soft and you can't go wrong with cheese foam! Overall, I liked my drink but I would like to try their fruit teas next time! read more

This place is very popular. That's why it took a while before I got my order. I got royal milk tea with herb jelly or glass jelly. You can't choose the sugar or ice level but it's not that sweet. They also have fresh brew tea, cheese foam and several kinds of topping. I went there around 1.00 pm and there were about 20-30 customers in that place within 30 mins. Check this one out! read more

Yes! And they have put up plexi glass barriers, and have markings on the floor in order to stay 6 feet apart while in line

They're still open, for take out only. I believe they're closing at 9pm now, but they should still be open.
Are their cups sustainable?
Not unless you rinse and recycle the single use plastic cups.
Do they use fresh milk? Not milk powder.
The milk is pasteurized by the supplier and then they use it after it is shipped to them.
Do they sell gift cards?
They do sell gift cards, I have a picture I would post it but I can't respond with a pic ! :)
Does anyone know if they still have their Merch, specially their "tea shirts"? I've tried to email them and ask, but no one has gotten back to me.

Yes! As I myself usually opt out of sugar, you do have the option of getting black tea or I believe oolong tea on ice. I would ask if their boba is made of tapioca flour or not. If it is out of tapioca flour it falls under paleo haha. Adds a chewy…

They only have regular boba, grass jelly, and custard/egg pudding.
