Royal Tea is my new go to spot for boba in Orlando. I tried their matcha crème brûlée with boba and it was amazing. The drink was milky and sweet with a perfect balance of matcha flavor. If you are looking for a good matcha boba drink this is the place to go. Matcha drink was so good me and my 4 friends got 4 orders of the it! I like that they let you choose your sweetness level, so you can do 25 percent, 50 percent, or more depending on your taste. They also have other great options like mango tea and original milk tea with a chai twist. The atmosphere is cozy and they have plenty of indoor seating, which makes it a nice place to relax. The service is also very polite and they will even let you change your drink if you do not like it.
On my second visit I give this place a 4, the first round was a 2 star at best. The first time I had the caffe latte with the whipped mousse. It was gross to say the least. I'm not a person who likes super sugary drinks (I usually get 50% sweetness when I order boba) I got regular sweetness this round and the drink didn't taste like there was any sugar at all. To make it worse, the mousse on top was salty and had a weird texture. Not sure why, but they also put matcha powder on top of the mousse, seems random to me and I'm someone who loves matcha lol. My friend got the royal three and was gracious enough to share the deliciousness with me. Loved that one a lot! There are better boba shops around Orlando including within walking distance so this one is a skip for me. The staff is friendly and the store is clean so that is a plus.
I love this place. They are always consistent with the drinks. You can change the level of sweetness and ice. The menus will inform you on all the ingredients in each item so you will always know what it is in it. I will say they add something extra that I can't replicate so that's why I always go back because it's wonderful. My husband can't wait to go back for when they have the peppermint version of black milk tea. They are always friendly and helpful when you ask.
Food quality: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Value: 4/5 First time trying RoyalTea out and got the Royal Bubble Tea. The staff was nice and the cafe was clean. I wish that there was a better indicator of which drink were dairy vs non-dairy and also what ingredients make up the drink. The menu board was pretty plain and if you wanted more detail, you have to ask for each drink. The boba was not great. Texture was fine, but it was bland and had no taste. Not sure if they forgot to soak the boba in sugar, but it was not flavorful at all. The tea itself was ok, not a very strong tea flavor. That might have just been an off day, but probably won't be going back.
No exaggeration when I say this is the worst tea spot in Orlando. I always get the same thing whenever I'm at tea shops: Jasmine tea, add milk, boba, and lychee jelly. However, when I came to order their Jasmine tea and I asked to add milk, they told me they couldn't. I asked "oh do you guys not carry milk tea". They said that they do however, it's "store policy" to only add milk to ONE specific tea and you cant add it to any other tea on their menu... I have never heard of a place telling you you can't add milk (something that they do carry and sell) to their drinks. I suggest management get rid of this silly rule. That'd be like going to Starbucks, asking to add milk to your coffee and them saying no. There's only one drink on their menu that you can add milk to. There were also more restrictions on modifications to your tea such as toppings, boba, lychee, etc. Because of all of the rules and restrictions and not simply being able to add milk to any of their tea or drink options (even thought they carry it), I suggest going to any of the other hundreds of way better tea spots in Orlando. Now onto the actual tea itself, I was disappointment that after all of their tea ordering rules I still ended up getting the Jasmine tea which was gross.. the Jasmine flavor was almost non existent and I'm not sure what sweetener they add to their drinks but it was really nasty and left a weird after taste.
Ordered the Royal Milk Tea, absolutely delicious. It was sweet, creamy, and had a nutty taste as well, which I usually like in a classic milk tea. The place we decorated in a minimalist style, which fit the aesthetic. And of course, service was quick and the employees were considerate and nice.
One of my favorite tea places in the Orlando area! The tea always tastes super fresh and they use wonderful ingredients and fresh fruit. While their menu is more limited than some boba tea places, I think that is for the best as every item is a great choice. Everything we have tried here has been delicious! My two favorites to get are the Matcha Latte and the Lemon Lime Tea. You can also adjust sweetness and choose the type of milk you would like. The tea comes out quickly and the employees have always been so friendly. There are a couple of seats inside the store, and it is a great place to sip on tea and hang out. The only food options available are two dessert options (crème brûlée). But if you are looking for a food or snack, hop over to King Bao that is right next door!
Royaltea has been one of my go to boba spots since they've opened. Their menu is definitely smaller compared to many other boba spots but I like that that their tea is fragrant and just has good flavor overall. Their boba however, is pretty bland and the texture isn't very consistent. At times it's either old or undercooked, where it's not chewy throughout and has a hard center. And the boba doesn't have any sort of flavor or sweetness, some boba shops sweeten their boba a bit so it doesn't taste as bland. Staff is kind, the inside is pretty small and industrial design inside, but parking is a pain since it's street parking only. But overall I still recommend royaltea, I usually go for the Royal Three or the Cheese Mousse Jasmine Green tea.
After finishing lunch at BB.Q Chicken, my friend suggested we walk to get bubble tea at this location down the street and around the corner. It's down one the streets off of Colonial and it's a small, intimate space where you can get your tea and go or sit and chill for a bit. This is the first shop I've been to where they make milk tea drinks with condensed milk instead of fresh milk, non-dairy creamer, or any non-dairy milk of your choice. The Royal 3 tea cannot be adjusted, but the regular Royal Milk tea can be adjusted for sweetness. My friend got the former and I got the latter with half sweetness and boba. Drinks were quick and only took a minute and a half. The staff were polite and worked quickly to get orders out to the window. My friend and I sat for a while and chatted with our drinks for a while. The tea had a great flavor not watered down by the add-ons or condensed milk and and the condensed milk added a creaminess to the drink. Pricing was on par with what I've paid for at other bubble tea shops. With regard to parking, street parking is your best bet, unless you're dining at a nearby establishment and can walk over quickly without getting towed. Do not park in Publix - they warn about towing people very clearly. I would come back here again.

Came here at the insistence of my son who is VERY "tea" picky! I love a good Matcha so I gave it a whirl- so amazingly delicious! Glad I did only half sugar as it was too sweet for me but I loved the green flavor with the oat milk option. My son had one of their "mousse" topped teas with Boba and it was superb, too! The mousse is whipped cheese and it's divine!! Now I know why there's always a line at the front door. HA! Parking is tight so go north on Mills and park on the street away from the Mills/50 intersection so that you don't have to rely on the kindness of other drivers to make your escape! read more

I've been to the Fremont, CA location-- first time seeing its cross-country counterpart! Royaltea's a pretty solid chain, though I wouldn't be able to tell its branding apart from the multitude of modern, white/minimalistic, vaguely plant-themed boba shops. For COVID safety purposes, staff wear masks, tables are sanitized, and social distancing is enforced. Parking is a mission and a half (be prepared to stalk some residential parallel spots...). We stopped by on a Friday evening right before a huge rush-- our orders only took around 10 mins. Comfy + cute indoor seating, decent for a medium-sized group! ROYAL BUBBLE TEA (less ice, 50% sweet): Decently strong tea. No milk substitutes. Already pretty sweet at 50%, can't imagine how it tastes at default. The boba's still overcooked and bland-- way too chewy. Idk what it is about Florida boba, but nobody's really getting it quite right. I can appreciate a boba place that focuses on signature menu items instead of 100 million half-assed ones. IMO, the California one still comes out on top. read more

Every boba I've tried in Orlando has been sorely disappointing for the most part, so when I was recommended to try Royaltea, I was hesitant to say the least. However, I was wrong, and I verbally told my colleague, "wow, this is good." I ordered cheese mousse royal tea with bubbles (left and right) and a matcha latte with cheese mousse (center), and they were both excellent. They were perfect at 50% sugar and the flavor of the tea was prevalent for both drinks. Cheese foam can be hit or miss, but theirs had a great balance of sweet and salty. The bubbles were only decent, good consistency but lacked flavor imho. This is the only place I would return to! 4.5/5 read more

There is a reason why ROYALTEA is a must-stop for boba lovers in the Orlando area. ROYALTEA offers a refreshing menu of fruit, milk and cheese mousse teas that will satisfy every palate. I love that you can customize your sweetness level of your drinks. Everything is so fresh and made to order. Their drink sizes are plentiful for the price. I had cheese mousse tea for the first time here. The thickness of the cheese mousse adds a savory richness to their sweet tea. It's a must-try when you visit! During the hot summer months (basically year-round in Florida), I like ordering their fresh fruit teas. They range from tart to sweet, but all come with real fruit pieces as they offer a cool oasis from the Florida humidity. Of course, ROYALTEA's classic milk teas will satisfy every boba afficionado. I advise ordering ahead and picking up your drinks, as ROYALTEA can get busy during peak hours. Furthermore, parking is a pain, as there is a small parking lot to the side or street parking off of Mills, which gets a lot of traffic. Usually I visit with a friend, who can drive around while one of us gets out of the car to pickup. ROYALTEA is a must-stop drink shop if you're in the Orlando area. Their entire menu is solid and you can pair their drinks with some of the tasty restaurants nearby. read more
Walking into this place it's so cute! They have little bleacher looking things and tables on them to sit. Very unique and offers plenty of room to sit and enjoy your tea. Once ordered our drinks came fairly quickly. They do have a nice selection but they don't have any flavored poppers which I personally like. But I got the Jay and it was so good and very refreshing and flavorful. I would go back and try something new but I would try another place that has those flavor poppers. read more

We visited Orlando (from NYC!), and you KNOW we had to try and find a good boba place. Some family that we have in Orlando recommended Royaltea, so we came by and ordered some drinks for all of us. We found that the teas themselves were great-- the flavor of their classic milk tea was, dare I say, ~royal~, and my sister really enjoyed their signature royal fruits tea. Their cheese mousse really took the milk tea to the next level and would definitely recommend getting a drink with the mousse in it. Where the store fell short for us was the boba. It was a little too soft for our tastes, didn't really taste like anything (probably wasn't soaked in sugar or anything), and I actually found a bit of plastic inside one of them, which is not exactly what we love to find inside pearls. read more
When you're told this is the best boba place in Orlando (cuz it may as well be!), your first thoughts are long lines and long wait just cuz it's Orlando lol. I've been told it's local favorite, located just off Mills Rd. in an inconspicuous little plaza. But what a pleasant surprise because both times I've been here, there were about 5 people ahead of me and I get my tea without waiting too long. Street parking wasn't hard to find, and I believe there is a parking lot just behind the building. No indoor seating, no call-aheads, no outdoor seating but so what? I love their boba. I'm super impressed with how perfect the texture is. It's not to rubbery, not too soft, just a slight firmness and feels like jello when you bite into it! Awesome flavors include Royal Tea Cheese Mousse with Milk (think of cheesecake, people freak out whey see cheese lol) and their fall deliciousness: Pumpkin Mousse Milk Tea! Royal Tea was the last stop of our Orlando trip. I wanted some boba before we left and this place had good reviews so we wanted to check it out. We entered the and location is located in a pretty low key area and the parking is a little confusing but it was all good. I decided to order the royal bubble tea which is just the regular milk tea. It came with boba and it was $5 -- it was a good deal considering boba is very expensive nowadays. Despite the high amount of good reviews, the boba was mediocre -- the flavor of the pearls wasn't sweet at all and the milk tea was just whatever. I was expecting some high class boba but then I should be considerate that this is Orlando and there isn't much of a Korean presence. It was just your typical boba. They do give the boba in some fancy cup which I personally always thought was useless but I guess it's a good touch for all those Instagram photo-wanting folks. Overall -- I would give this place a 3.5 more than a 4 but I will be generous and give this place a 4. for read more

So many boba tea places! Parking can be found around the corner. Small place, pretty long lines. Moves pretty quickly though. I got the royal milk tea with boba (which is what I always get first time at a boba place so I can compare). Tea was good, boba was a little chewy than I liked. Maybe other item is better? I mean CMON! Look at that picture! This boba has to be someone of the best in orlando when it comes to flavor and sweetness. I tried the Matcha Mousse, which was the perfect flavor profile of Matcha with an extra kick of creaminess. The only down side would be that they only have original boba, unlike other places which have many flavors as well as popping boba and jellies. Regardless, the flavors make up for the one choice of boba. If you're strolling down Mills and need a little treat, this is definitely the right place to go! read more
One of the best if not the BEST boba tea spot I've ever had the pleasure of visiting!!! Delicious and extensive menu! Don't worry it's not extensive to the point where it becomes overwhelming- the staff helps navigate you through based off of your preferences. Must say the mousse milk tea has condensed milk which gave it the perfect taste! I'm aware not many people can enjoy this sweet milk of heaven with if you can and your body Allows you to ENJOY IT! Such a must when visiting here. I've been to Orlando many times and I'm bummed I just found out about this place. Might even consider the drive just for my boba cravings. The royal fruit tea is a more refreshing but nonetheless within the same standard of the mousse! Highly recommend even if you're a couple miles out make that detour you won't regret it. read more
Solid four or something more for posh gentrified bobahbahba in a trendy fresh space. The two teas we had were delicious. Plenty of real fruit. Even the cups were noticibly satisfyingly premium. Our experience was flawless too but we were also the only cover. And everyone was friendly and helpful and nice. read more

Really cute tea house with nice modern feeling inside. If you check in, you get a free topping! Staff was nice but you could tell they were just trying to pass the day along. I also noticed that although they had masks on, no one was wearing gloves. That knocked a star down for me. The cheese mousse is so cool and adds another dimension to the drink but it's sweet. Would definitely visit again to try one of the fruit teas. They only have whole and almond milk, wish they had a variety of milk, but they know what they're doing. RoyalTea truly has the BEST seasonal boba drinks. I always wait year round for the pumpkin and peppermint mousse milk tea. Although I believe RoyalTeas boba drink portions can be a little much, when it comes to the seasonal drinks, it is never enough! It is just the perfect ratio of mousse to milk tea and the pumpkin milk tea tastes like a graham cracker on a chilly night. Truly a must try during the holiday season. Would highly recommend giving their seasonal drinks a shot :) read more
The shop itself is quite on the narrow side which only fits maybe 4 groups. There's much more seating but I can only imagine it feeling stuffy and crowded to move around if every seat was taken. I stared at the menu for a solid 5 minutes and finally went with the Mousse milk tea with boba. It just wasn't my style and the flavor threw me off. I can't explain it, I suppose I was expecting a deeply brewed, full bodied milky black tea. Nonetheless, Royaltea looks like their specialty drinks are the fruity ones which I skipped out on. I'll definitely give them another try if I ever get the chance to. read more

I am always on the lookout for good boba places. This is a fun spot for boba and fruit teas. The ambience is ok but the tables are always full when I go. I love the variety that they offer and the boba is always delicious. I recently also tried the creme brulee which definitely hit the spot. The service is always great and quick. I wish they had more locations near me because it's a pretty long drive from my place. read more

When visiting Orlando, this is my main tea shop I go to when I arrive, especially before I head to the theme parks! The staff is very friendly and helpful when deciding the best one for you! My main go-to tea is the Mousse Milk Tea. The texture is so creamy and smooth, there are times I find myself buying two of them! It's that good. My soul becomes happy the more I drink their tea. This is THE BEST boba tea/coffee that you will ever ever ever have. No one can convince me otherwise, this is it. I have only one picture unfortunately but I have tried their royal fruit tea, their matcha latte and mousse, cafe latte, and others that I cannot remember the names of right now. All of them are good, you can't go wrong with what you order; however, if you need some guidance just ask the cashier, they're extremely helpful. Well you know the drinks must be good if the line is around the corner. It was definitely worth the wait. Next time I'll make sure to get a couple bobas to sample more flavors on top of my new favorite. It was my first time having Mousse Milk Boba Tea but it will not be my last! That savory mousse atop the perfectly sweetened creamed black tea is a great combination. And the boba ratio was perfect. Great Boba, really this was the best boba I've tried. While I will say Boba in Orlando has been booming this is the first to really set the bar high. Great options and teas to try. The cream moose here is also a 5/5. It is a smaller shop and parking is not like I'm used to but it's totally worth it. Bring a friend and it'll make for a good time. read more
If you freeze, or griddle, or broil tea Then you are likely to spoil tea But this place is more famous For service so heinous That I'll never return back to Royaltea I had an awful experience here. Part of this is because it was packed wall-to-wall (which I usually like) and you can barely move in here (which I usually like) and while I didn't mind that, it really affected the employees a lot, because two or three different employees were extremely unfriendly, hurried, distracted, and messing up so many drinks it was a joke. After they messed up *both my six dollar drinks*, they refused to change the teas for me which most Royaltea locations have done in the past if they've messed up (I've tried them everywhere from Boston to Toronto to you name it), and when I ordered them with my usual limited adjustments, they were not willing to adjust my teas to taste, which other locations do (i.e. I don't drink green, so I wanted black). So I was very disappointed when, after a debate and someone checking with a superior (shakes head), they agreed to give me black tea, then they completely ignored my requests only after taking my money, and gave me green tea instead of black tea in my fruit drink, and the wrong topping in my milk drink - after 10 mins in line. So rather than waiting in line for another 10 minutes I walked right back up to the counter where drinks are collected, and told them about the problem. She said hold on a minute and continued making other drinks, about 2 minutes went by, then when she asked me who took the order, I pointed to the girl up front and then she got called away by one of the other girls who was snapping at her right in front of me. A few more minutes go by and then a dude asks me what I am waiting for. I explain it to him. He asks if someone else is taking care of it. I say someone was, but she's busy now. He proceeds to not do anything about it. I ask for the owner. The first girl says "I'll tell the manager but you'll have to wait." So after waiting around for about 10 minutes (total from when I went up there, not additional), and having just a couple of sips of very substandard drinks from a chain which usually makes great drinks, I left a note, on the counter, with both of my drinks, barely touched, saying that since they were too busy to fix my drinks now or even talk to me, could the owner or manager please email me and we will figure something out, such as a refund or a replacement next time. Obviously I never received an email and I'll never come back here again, and the 1 star review is for perhaps the worst service I've had at any boba shop in the country, alongside perhaps Sharetea Katy TX. Vivi around the corner may not be as fashionable of a chain, but their drinks are better (Vivi in general is not better than Royaltea in general, but Orlando Vivi is one of the best Vivis, and Orlando Royaltea is an embarrassment to the quality of the other locations), and their service is 10,000 times better - so I highly recommend you go there instead. It's less than 1 minute walk around the corner. I tried about 200 Boba stores in Florida and while the drinks here are not the worst, and are probably better than average Florida boba despite the errors, the service and mistakes and not giving a crap about me as a customer, makes this easily my worst Boba experience in Florida to date. read more

Very good bubble tea spot while visiting Florida. The area was a little quiet when we went there back in February but surprisingly inside was almost full we were just lucky to have found seats. The menu was simple but interesting. I thoroughly enjoyed my Uji matcha. The cheese foams were delicious i might have been responsible for upgrading my friend's tastebuds when it comes to bubble tea and foams now lol the tea was made so well with a good amount of bitterness and a well-balanced sweetness. The milk mousse was very good too. The drink containers looked fancy and sturdy you could most likely reuse them! I loved that you can either drink your teas from a straw or just sip from it. If you ordered the teas with cheese foams, you can definitely taste the different layers of the drink when you drink it "sippy-cup-style" compared to using the straw so i liked that you have two ways to drink them. Plus it comes with a heart-shaped cap! read more

Thank goodness this place has embraced the 'cheese tea' concept! For those of you who haven't heard about it, 'cheese tea' is tea topped with a savory, yet sweet cream cheese-based mixture that gives your normal everyday tea a completely different take on what tea can be. You don't mix it, but rather sip from the top to get some of the foam and the drink some tea. So, you get this interesting sweet and savory and creamy dance on your taste buds that you had no idea was possible. This beverage concept originated in Taiwan (if I remember correctly) and is finally trending in the states. This place does it well so definitely try it out if you want an interesting beverage! Anyways, this location is next to Pho 88 and King Bao so I'd recommend grabbing a bite there and getting some good tea for the road after. All around great place to grab a tea-based beverage! read more

The amount of times i've come here despite living over 2 hours away is criminal. This is definitely some of the best boba i've had anywhere ever. Every single time their boba is delicious and everything is just right. The parking is a little sketchy sometimes but it's worth it. I always recommend anything with these cheese mousse as it's definitely the best i've found. The flavor and airiness is unmatched. I recommend the lychee black tea also! Last time I also got a matcha creme brûlée and it was delicious. I wish it was a little bigger but i'd still repurchase. One of the best matcha desserts i've had to date. Do yourself a favor and come here. Genuinely my favorite boba spot anywhere. read more

Yes! And they have put up plexi glass barriers, and have markings on the floor in order to stay 6 feet apart while in line

They're still open, for take out only. I believe they're closing at 9pm now, but they should still be open.
Are their cups sustainable?
Not unless you rinse and recycle the single use plastic cups.
Do they use fresh milk? Not milk powder.
The milk is pasteurized by the supplier and then they use it after it is shipped to them.
Do they sell gift cards?
They do sell gift cards, I have a picture I would post it but I can't respond with a pic ! :)
Does anyone know if they still have their Merch, specially their "tea shirts"? I've tried to email them and ask, but no one has gotten back to me.
