They use good technique and the pressure is deep just how I like it. I have gotten the chance to get massages from all of them and I would say all the ladies technique and pressure are good. I am pretty spontaneous and would book last minute and they are very accommodating ! I usually request Elaine but after getting a massage from Hai Ying, I was blown away. I had this neck pain for a really long time... I got multiple rounds of acupuncture for at least 6 months to a year and it never got better. Each time I move my head left or right, it was super painful. After one message with Hai Ying, the pain was gone. I work from home so I gotten alot of knots and I believe some of the knots on my knees or somewhere was pulling on my muscles and causing pain my neck and shoulders. Honestly, I was super surprised I no longer had neck pain after my massage with her. After that, I been going ever since and would invite my friends whenever I could. I recently moved to LA but I do have family in the Bay Area so whenever I come back, I ALWAYS make sure to book a session with Hai Ying. Her techniques are also unique and I LOVE how she customized the massage based on the knots and my request. I appreciate how she doesn't follow a basic routine but would adapt based on the customers needs. Overall, my experience has been amazing and I would recommend them to anyone who has pain or need to untangle stubborn knots.

This was hands down the worst massage I've ever had, and I paid $185 for it! I called the day before to specifically request someone who would actually massage my back instead of walking on it because my back was really sore. When the therapist came in, I explained the same thing to her, and she said okay. Instead, she spent the session walking on my back and arms and then doing fire cupping. She wasn't even going to use oil to give me an actual massage! When I finally asked her, "So you're not going to use oil and actually massage me?" she said, "Not today. Maybe next time." I was so upset because I paid $185 expecting a real massage, not someone walking on my back and arms and doing fire cupping. After I expressed my frustration, she eventually rubbed some oil on me for a few minutes, but it felt like when I rub lotion on my arms in the morning. It was not an actual massage! I specifically explained what I wanted before my appointment and again when I arrived, yet my request was completely ignored. I should not have to ask repeatedly for the service I paid for, and I certainly should not be told that I can get an actual massage next time when I'm already paying $185 for one today. After almost five years of being a loyal customer, I am extremely disappointed. This is not the service I expected, and I will never spend my money here again. Zero stars if I could. Maggie what happened - even the fire cupping was horrible :-(

That really stressed my mother. We were under the impression that it was, but in hindsight, I don't think was specifically asked. The massage lady (can't remember her name) did say she would be happy to help my mother in, but the massage lady was 15 minutes late. I wasn't going to go in with my mother, but since it started out a bit confusing, I did. The massage lady is probably experienced, but elderly disabled people seems to annoy her. I could see that my mother was getting more and more stressed, so we left in 15 minutes. The massage lady charged us full price. We understand that we had booked for an hour and that if we hadn't, someone else could have filled that slot. It's hard to find people who are good working on older people. This one really works only on younger people - it's not therapeutic ---- she's more of a recreational day spa type.

Her rates are competitive especially when you consider her flexibility to offer "come to you" service. She is very responsive and easy to work with for scheduling. She is also very conscientious, discussing what "ails" you and how her therapy skills can assist; I really appreciate her table-side manner, never pressuring, belittling or negative. In the past, I've used services from Massage Envy, high end boutique spas, and other individual massage therapists and IMHO, Mila ranks among the top for overall satisfaction!! The only downside (for us customers, but AWESOME of Mila) is that as demand for her services grows (and I am sure it will), she'll continue to be busy, so proactive coordinating with her for scheduling will be a must. In my book, she's a MUST HAVE in my rolodex for massage therapists!!
