My sister and I had a 10:00 a.m. appointment yesterday, and from the moment we arrived, we were welcomed and seated right away. We were taken into a relaxing room with comfortable massage chairs that recline, where we started by soaking our feet in warm water. The atmosphere was peaceful, with soothing music playing in the background, making it easy to relax immediately. Even though my sister was right next to me, the setup still felt surprisingly private, and I was able to completely unwind. While our feet soaked, they started with a head, shoulder and arm massage. After the foot massage they had my turn on my stomach and massaged my back. I had several knots around my shoulder blades, and my therapist did an amazing job working them out. He adjusted pressure when asked and was just awesome! I left feeling so much better than when I arrived. The prices are incredible for the quality of service. My one-hour foot massage was only $45, and a one-hour full-body massage is just $60, which I will definitely be trying next time. The entire experience was relaxing, professional, and affordable. I highly recommend Healthy Foot Spa and will absolutely be back!

I like to get their 100-minute special, which includes a 40-minute foot massage to start and ends with a 60-minute body massage. I noticed they specialize more in acupressure massages so if you like strong massages, this is the spot for you. Ask for Jane or Andy - they're amazing! I have been visiting Health Day Spa usually once a week for about five years…read more My go to person lately is Susan. She provides exactly the massage I request. Swedish massage, medium, not too hard. Most massage spas offer soft, medium, or hard pressures. I prefer soft to medium. That's exactly what I ask with Susan and that is what I receive. If you want a hard deep tissue massage, I'd recommend Carmen. She's very experienced and knows exactly where your pain or discomfort is, and believe me, she will definitely get your pain out. Depending on your pain, depends on how much pressure Carmen will put on you. Two different times, Jenny (the owner) performed Thai massages on me. She does not offer that massage. She only performed Thai massage because I have been going there for years. Omg, that was so painful. However, when I walked out, my body was like jello. At that time, I didn't live far away. I was able to drive home and fell right to sleep, waking up totally refreshed. Today, Susan worked on me. I always get a 90 minute massage, which costs $98, plus I give 25 to $30 tip. That's just me. My tip is giving extra thanks. Today, though, I caught myself snoring twice. I love Health Day Spa. It's dark, always quiet unless a guest is talking loud. There's soft relaxing music playing. As I have mentioned before, everyone that works there does not speak English well. I suggest you speak slowly and clearly, or use your Google translator, as I do. Jenny, Bill, and maybe a couple other employees will understand English. I have also mentioned, if you want a happy ending, go somewhere else. Health Day Spa is 100% legit, with trained massage therapists.

I look forward to coming here, and the spa itself is well worth a visit, even without booking a…read moretreatment, in my opinion. I've been here about four times and find the spa to be a peaceful and relaxing getaway. My favorite parts of the spa are the dry saunas: both the jjimjilbang and the dry sauna in the women-only area. The jade and stone rooms have a nice scent of cedarwood, and when I have visited during the weekday, they're usually completely empty. I like to cool off in the rest area, where they provide mats and pillows, where I lie down and read for a bit before going back into one of the heated rooms. The women's spa has the typical amenities: dry sauna, wet sauna, cold pool and hot tub. Sometimes it can be a bit noisy (loud conversations) when there are women who don't know the proper etiquette, but once they get called back for their body scrub service, it gets quiet and peaceful again. :) When I come in the mid-morning on a weekday, at most there are a few other people, but other times I've had the entire space to myself (happened today). I especially enjoy the cold pool after using either of the saunas or the hot tub. If you purchase spa admission in bulk, it adds up to $35 a session ($350 for 10 "day passes"), which is well worth it, in my opinion. Day admissions includes the provision of a spa uniform (a robe for women), a small towel and a large towel, use of the lockers and access to all amenities (jjimjilbang, women-only saunas + pools). They provide spa shoes for free (upon request). The shampoo/conditioner/soap provided in the showers is decent! I like using the stool + basin to take a seated shower. Overall, the locker room and spa area are kept pretty clean. In the women's locker room they just got a new water cooler. I usually spend about three hours here. General advice: Come prepared to pay in cash unless you are willing to pay a credit card surcharge. Drawbacks: I think there could be improvements to some of the facilities, but nothing is a "dealbreaker" to me. Both of the women's pools could use some interior resurfacing, the himalayan sea salt room (jjimjilbang) doesn't seem to get as hot as it should in order for there to be a therapeutic benefit, the provided towels could be replaced (they're getting a bit raggedy), some of the hair dryers in the locker room need replacing. I've gotten the spa package of a body scrub, massage, mini-facial and hair wash but to be honest, it wasn't my cup of tea (during the body scrub it felt like they exfoliated parts of my body I didn't even know existed!). I'm planning to try a facial one day and hear they are great. I definitely recommend coming here as a way to decompress and treat yourself to some relaxation. :)

I usually get the #5, and sitting in the sauna and hot tub afterward is sooo relaxing. But the #1 is definitely worth it too! This is the kind of place where you can actually spend some time, unwind, and leave feeling refreshed from head to toe. One of my favorite little gems is that I also come here just to get my hair washed. Sometimes I don't want to go through the whole salon experience and sit bent back over a shampoo bowl -- I just want my scalp and hair thoroughly washed and to RELAX. I've been here enough times that it's genuinely become one of my go-to self-care spots.

Within minutes we were able to confirm an afternoon appt. she came to me and was really well prepared. Found Mila on Yelp and read the reviews - what is said is ALL TRUE!!!…read more I can't say enough about the high level of professionalism and quality of her massage therapy skills; coupled with her desire to share her extensive knowledge and experience of preventive care and you can't go wrong with enlisting her massage therapy services. Her rates are competitive especially when you consider her flexibility to offer "come to you" service. She is very responsive and easy to work with for scheduling. She is also very conscientious, discussing what "ails" you and how her therapy skills can assist; I really appreciate her table-side manner, never pressuring, belittling or negative. In the past, I've used services from Massage Envy, high end boutique spas, and other individual massage therapists and IMHO, Mila ranks among the top for overall satisfaction!! The only downside (for us customers, but AWESOME of Mila) is that as demand for her services grows (and I am sure it will), she'll continue to be busy, so proactive coordinating with her for scheduling will be a must. In my book, she's a MUST HAVE in my rolodex for massage therapists!!
