He proceeds to hit on me when I made it very clear I wasn't interested and just wanted to get my food. I wish the nightmare ended then but when I got home and opened the containers, there was a rancid smell coming from the rice and lo and behold they served me moldy rice. Mind you, rice costs pennies to make. The rest of the food was also below average, below mediocre. It's disappointing too bc there's not a lot of Thai options in the area so you'd think the owners would want to be the best to retain their customers. Awful awful awful.

The cuddle fish was well fried and very crispy, the sauce that came with it tied everything together. Little sweet, little spicy, little hot of twang. Was amazing. Mapo tofu was extremely good, was exactly what I wanted after a long day. Smooth tofu, lots of spicy and tingly goodness, and the rice with it was perfect. Service was good, was really quick for pick up. And the place is super clean and really well spaced out inside. I would dine in here if I could have. I will be back for sure the next time I'm in the area.

I came here after visiting the botanical garden, and I was HUNGRY…read more I ordered Grandma's Noodles ($9), the scallion bubble pancake ($5), cumin lamb ($12), and dry fried eggplant ($11). Everything was DELICIOUS. The scallion bubble pancake came out HOT, like hurt-to-touch HOT. It was crispy and airy. It was served with a side of mild curry sauce. The noodles, lamb, and eggplant came out hot temperature-wise as well, but they were also hot spice-wise, especially the cumin lamb. The spice levels cleared my sinuses, LOL. But though I struggled with the spice, I kept on eating because all of the dishes were delicious and flavorful. The tender lamb was served on little skewers. The dry fried eggplant was super crispy; the pieces were shaped like spicy fries. I liked Grandma's noodles even more. The noodles had that bouncy, chewy, hand-pulled feel and were covered in vinegar & hot chili oil. I appreciated the portions. Despite being an appetizer, Grandma's Noodles came out on a large plate, and for being small plates, the eggplant and lamb were pretty filling. The service was also friendly and attentive. My food came out quick, and the staff constantly kept my glass of water filled. My only annoyance was the $1 charge for the bowl of white rice, but the food and service more than made up for that small, inexpensive annoyance.

Our last visit on April 2nd 2026 was seriously bad. We came in at 12:05pm (just after noon). Walking, we were told to seat ourselves. There were about 3 other tables with customers. After about 5 mins the young 2 hair color Asian female waitress arrived. She was a 180 opposite to her normal self. She was blunt, somewhat rushed and bossy. Like she had a problem bothering her. Our Ice Tea and Meal order was taken. 4 Egg rolls, and a large shared Chicken Fried rice. 6 mins later our BURNT egg rolls arrived. I mean burnt Black on the ends and very dark over the rest. Then a few mins later the Ice teas arrived. Yes after the Egg Rolls. About 5-7 mins later, what they called Chicken Fried Rice arrived. It was lacking any flavor, and the normal ingredients. The rice was WHITE, not darken as it is normally. The looked very white like it had just come from a pot of cooked rice and not been skillet cooked. The rice was hard on the bottom, like it all had been rewarmed. Heck I could have cooked a better meal using Minute Rice, Wally World Chicken, a egg, and Soy sauce. We will give the place a few months. IF it is still open June/July we'll try it again.

We've been eating here for 25 years. My husband has always loved their beef pepper steak and they…read moredo have good eggrolls. We started having issues many times with their fried rice two years ago, tasting very sour rotten. They told us that's normal it's the soy sauce. We began ordering it with light soy, and haven't had a problem anymore. We did have to quit ordering anything with shrimp in it due to getting shrimp that were rotten tasting . Today we ordered two lunch menu beef pepper steaks, and one lunch menu teriyaki chicken . The pepper steak was terrible, both of them and the teriyaki chicken was absolutely not teriyaki sauce. It was some type of a bright red really nasty sweet sauce and it was battered and fried I never had teriyaki chicken that way. I told her this is not teriyaki chicken. This is not teriyaki sauce and she said our teriyaki sauce is different from anyone else's anywhere you've never had any like ours . Yeah that's because it's not teriyaki sauce. I've also noticed many times the bill way way higher than it should've been. Today our bill should have been $37.85 pre tax but was $50.05! And my husband has always been an over tipper so she's always been tipped extremely well. I checked every item and added it up, then confronted the waitress we were over charged $12.20 for 3 lunch meals. She said we were charged an extra.$2.50 to leave the vegetables out of my son's $8 (lunch special) beef pepper steak. Then she said we were charged $2 per person for light soy and egg in the fried rice that is included in the lunch meal. Egg is included in fried rice we never ask for any extra. She made up charges to add to our meal to get an extra $12.20 out of us. Another guy at the table across from us said as he was walking out that he felt he had been way overcharged for his two meals, and was wondering the same thing. They just lost two customers.

There are very few people dining. I like the quietness while I dine. The food is excellent, no complaints, you get plenty to eat. My gf usually brings some home. My pet peeve is, the hostess, waitresses are so unfriendly! They couldn't smile at a joke. They barely understand English. They never come and check on us. Tonight I ran out of beverage, no refill. We were not done eating when the waitress brought the check. Didn't ask if we wanted dessert or anything else. At checkout, wasn't asked how was everything. So to sum this up, good food, plenty of it but the service sucks.

The pace is fast in the restaurant and the service is attentive and once you order your food comes out quickly to the table. Every dish we ordered was delicious. It is one of those establishments that you want to hurry and eat as there are people waiting to be seated and you don't want to linger too long because that would not be fair to them. You have plenty of time and noone is rushing you you just know to be a decent human being you should eat and then leave promptly and not linger over empty dishes. Their portions are hearty though so you will most likely have take out to enjoy as well. I highly recommend this restaurant and if I lived closer I would frequent it often. I wish I could be more detailed about the dishes we ordered but I just don't remember but I still wanted to give them a good review. Just remember to be polite and not tarry like you would not tarry at a Waffle House when it is full because this restaurant is going to always be full I suspect!

We were a party of 5 and found both the food and the service to be inconsistent. The Food: Most dishes were mediocre or worse. The Three Cups Chicken (1/5) was the worst I've ever had. The Hong Kong Style Shrimp (1/5) was just bland, tasteless fried shrimp. The Lamb with Scallion (2/5) was far too salty. The only "average" dish was the Spicy Beef and Tendon (3/5), but one decent dish can't save a meal this poor. The Service & Billing: The service was quite slow during our visit. We waited a long time for the check and eventually ended up packing our own leftovers and heading to the front counter to pay so we could head out. I was also surprised to see an automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill, especially since it was calculated on the total after tax ($23.07 tip on a $106.80 subtotal). While I understand automatic tips for groups, it felt a bit high due to poor services.
