What a great spot! Me and a friend came here on a Saturday evening to try some sushi. First of all, the place has a nice relaxing atmosphere with Japanese charm. Second the service was great! Our waitress took the time to explain the different rolls and made good recommendations. Third, the sushi was delicious! We ordered California roll, a fried hungers roll and I can't remember the last one. All the rolls were huge and tasted great. Overall it was a great experience at an excellent price. I am highly disappointed in the order I received on this evening. I ordered a chicken bento box for my father with steamed veggies and a salad. Instead received spring roll and no veggies or salad or soup that was supposed to be included in the order. I attempted to contact the restaurant but they were closed. No one answered the number listed on the website and receipt and I was able to leave a voicemail or email. It appears this is the only means of getting any correspondence to the restaurant. It's upsetting because the cashier asked me for the salad dressing for his meal 3 times and yet it was no where to be found on his plate. Cons: Flavor was ok... also we had to ask for all the normal stuff -- soy sauce, yum yum, etc. Because of the layout, it's pretty noisy if there's a large crowd. Excellent and friendly service plus great food! We stopped here after the annual vampire run. Perfect lunch spot! Sushi was fresh and some of the best I've had. The hibachi chicken and shrimp was good. The Poke bowl was clean and fresh. It's not 5 stars but considering the price, it's very tasteful.

Don't get me wrong the food was alright, however this place decided to charge $10 gratuity on a $30 dollar bill and tried telling me it's standard. It was a 2 person tab, it would make sense if it was more people however this is unacceptable. I tried to tell the server that this is unacceptable and how I should not be automatically charged for gratuity and all I got was that "It's standard." I have been here PLENTY of times in the past and know this is NOT standard and they are tying to bs me. As a teenager it is supposed that teens do not tip, however I am not amongst that group and besides that tips should not be expected much less forced upon a customer. Since they already tipped them selves 10 bucks I chose to not leave a tip on top of that. I will not be coming back and I encourage others to do the same. read more

This place always has a packed parking lot, so we took that as a sign we should try it out. I'm pleased to say this place is great. The food was very good - we got sushi rolls, and the combo hibachi. Service was great as well! It is clean, nice quiet ambiance, and moderately priced. Much cheaper than doing the table side hibachi, but just as tasty. Just be sure to go during an off time if you want the quiet - I'll bet it gets loud during busy times! read more

Coming from San Francisco, I wasn't expecting much from a sushi place in a small city in Georgia. So I was pleasantly pleased when the food came out in good time and it tasted pretty good. I got the deep-fried rolls, which were pretty filling. The non deep-fried rolls, however, were definitely smaller than I expected, so if you're hungry I recommend getting a deep-fried roll. The small side of fried-rice is also a good amount of tasty fried rice with egg, and a nice dish to get if you just want a little extra to fill your stomach up. read more

We started out with the gyoza, edamame, and the tempura udon all of which were very good. The highlight though was the sushi. Both the Georgia Dawg Roll and The Volcano Roll were excellent. I was in the area and decided to try this restaurant. I ALWAYS get rice when trying a new spot, and so I decided to order the fried rice with extra egg and extra onion. It didn't have any egg in the dish!! I called and spoke with the manager and she told me she checked the dish before it went out to make sure it was right. Apparently she's blind because there is not much egg (just a piece here and there) let alone EXTRA EGG WHICH I PAID FOR in the dish!!! I told her I took PICTURES OF THE FOOD!! She had the nerve to tell me the egg must have been hidden by the spice!! WTF!! There's not that much spice in the world to hide egg!!! This place had zero employees in masks, point one. People not required to wear any even entering. The food was terrible. The hibachi had an unusual citrus flavoring. So weird. The filet I requested med rare. It was well done and at least the flavor of the meat was okay although it was a tiny amount and overdone. The rice was decent but I spent $28 on 2 hibachi plates and I'm mad at myself for wasting my $. The yum yum sauce was citrus based too. Strangest hibachi meal I've ever had. I'm gonna start them out with a 5 star, food was excellent, portions were filling, pricing is fair for fresh Sushi grade fish. Staff was very attentive. So, after reading reviews we were excited to go try this new restaurant. We pulled up at 8:20 pm so looking forward to dinner but when we walked in the door we were told they were closed. CLOSED on a Friday night at 8:20pm when your posted hours are 9:30 pm??? Needless to say we will not be making the 20 minute drive to this establishment again to be turned away.
