Doesn't look like much from the outside but inside is cheerful and vibrant. Good parking lot. Our party was large and we took up half the tables. The staff was really running to manage all of us, and they did well. My table of four had one hibachi dish and the Unsinkable 1 sushi boat, which had a variety of sushi, some sashimi, two tempura shrimp, and curly radish noodles on leafs. It was very attractive and satisfying. I had hot tea, which was nothing special: just a tea bag of green tea in a plastic mug. The restaurant could improve the presentation on that. One tv was showing music videos with the sound off. Another tv was playing anime with English subtitles. The walls were covered in hand painted sushi art and posters of many kinds. The broth was very salty and the spinach tasted odd. I am still perplexed as to why they call it vegan but it comes with an egg, maybe that's the Dirty part. Super excited to try this place, but left disappointed. When we were seated, we were told "please be patient with your waitress" so I'm not sure if they were short staffed or it was just a busy night. We ordered a "Bubba" sushi roll, and two bowls of ramen. I also ordered a cucumber salad. The sushi came out first, but they forgot my cucumber salad, and even after asking two different times it still never came out. Our ramen came out after a pretty decent wait and it was mediocre. All of the noodles were clumped up in the middle, and the whole thing seemed kind of thrown together. Definitely not the best I've ever had. Our waitress also never came back to refill our drinks the entire time, I even stopped her and asked for a refill which she forgot about. Don't know that I would come back after tonight. read more

So glad I found this place while visiting Covington, GA. The food is delicious and the service is friendly and fast. Inside there is plenty of seating with additional seating at the sushi bar. To start off we got the gyoza appetizer and an order of salmon sashimi. The gyoza was pan fried perfectly and had great flavor. The salmon sashimi was fresh and tender. The ramen is a must try at this place, I tried the Beef Chinese. The broth is infused with lots of in depth flavors, the noodles are cooked perfectly and the meat is tender. The combination Lo Mein was also delicious. The noodles were perfect, the meat was flavorful and tender and everything tasted great together. There is a lot more food to try here so I will definitely be back next visit to try more items! read more

Not quite to sure why this restaurant has a high overview. But lets see, when I walked in it was overly humid/hot in the space. When I recieved my food it was mediocre at best flavor was not there at all. I had kaarage chicken, gyoza and seaweed salad. The only thing that was decent out of that was the seaweed salad. The other 2 lacked flavor and I felt like in some parts of the chicken I just ate fried breading with no chicken. I also got a drink and that was flat or watered down as well just didnt taste right at all. I got a second drink and it still was flat as well. It took a while to get another drink as well after I had said something about the previous flat drink. So then my Ramen comes amd the beef was super dry and the chicken was super super super dry and also the Ramen lacked a massive amount of flavor the egg was still cold as well which I thought was awkward. I was completely displeased that a automatic tip was added as well even when the food and atmosphere didnt match the tip at all. When restaurants do that it makes me think that they cant keep waiters because of the quality of their food and service and space all combined. I will not be returning to say the least. I would have gave a 2 star only because the waitress was ok but when I was on my way home driving my stomach became upset from the food. Yes the food made me sick my body didnt agree with it at all it was immediate. So just because of that I have to go with a 1 star. Great customer service upon entry. We were seated right away. The tables, bench and overall seating was clean. Our waitress came over and took our beverage/app order. My daughter and I were first timers and asked for help deciding on which ramen to get. For the apps we both had the shrimp tempura. The shrimp was fresh and golden fried to a crisp. 10/10. My daughter had the Jiro Style ramen and I had the Shogun ramen both served nice and hot. The pork melted in your mouth. I ordered the beef ramen to go for my son and he also throughly enjoyed his meal. All in all 10/10 experience. This is one of the spot's we'll add to our local go to places. read more

So it's always a surprise when you go to the little small place in town that looks a little sketch and it becomes a staple. We actually ordered dinner for delivery and we were very pleased with the time frame(40-45mins) on a Friday night. We ordered 3 ramen meals and 1 appetizer. All the food arrived piping hot and labeled. They had the broth separated from protein and noodles which was nice because you can add broth as you like. The price was reasonable, anymore.... I've ordered from Ichiban Ramen a few times this year through DoorDash. The food quality is top tier. I recently ordered the braised pork belly bowl. The pork belly is perfectly seasoned and tender. The rice is nice and fully and the vegetables are great too. I've ordered it a few times and it's amazing every time. Great portion size, too! I have not received in-person service at Ichiban. Something has changed. I started going here about a year ago. Loved it. Over the past year it seems to be going down hill. The establishment is still very clean. Still greeted and seated promptly. Continue to order my favorite dish chicken katsu. Awhile back they quit having the bottle of Chinese hot sauce on the table. Was told they couldn't get it but I found it in the grocery store. Next the salad changed from a leaf to a chopped lettuce. Overall the food still tasted good. This time there, they had rearranged the booths and tables. Still clean and roomy. I got there at 5 pm on Thursday. Only one couple was present. A couple people came in to pickup takeout. A couple came in during my meal and was seated. Soup and salad was served. Soup was good. Again chopped lettuce for the salad. A little heavy on the dressing. Main meal came. Chicken and steamed rice. Normally the chicken comes in whole pieces, this time it was chopped up. Meal was served with traditional sauces along with a small container of hot sauce. Over the past year the patrons seem to be dwindling. Are they noticing the change also?
