I typically get a manicure and pedicure every two weeks throughout the year regardless of season. I'm extremely particular about my nails because I have an anxiety disorder that causes me to constantly pick at any skin or cuticle on or around my nails. It takes an understanding and patient technician to clip every tiny thing that could be pickable. I'm also ALWAYS in a hurry so I know that doesn't help. I have been going to this location for several years. Ellie, who no longer owns the salon and her staff were absolutely amazing to me. Because I was a very regular client, (big tipper) they would braid my hair sometimes, when I would occasionally get a design done, she wouldn't charge me anything extra, she and Oleana would do my nails together so I could get done faster... Needless to say I was devastated when they left and opened the new salon in the Syracuse area. I have gone back to the salon once since they changed ownership and they did a good job. Not as well as I'm used to but I will go back and HOPEFULLY with time, they will get to know what I need and like. I have a good feeling about the new salon and staff there. I have to change my review. I thought the pedicure was a harsh. But it had been awhile and I did not want to complain. It was my first time here. But they were so ruff, even when I was looking at the site of my foot, they did not comment. I could feel the burn. It seem to subside after waiting a little. I woke up the next day and as I sat in my chair and the blanket rubbed agist my foot I felt pian. When I looked there is a sore with a scab! I am diabetic. If you have Sugar I would not recommend a pedicure!!. She scrubbed my heals and feet I had flinched. She said she was trying to get the Calais off. I have never had a pedicure where they had scrubbed so hard. She said I needed to put coco butter on them. Well when I checked them they are still rough! I paid for #3. I do not think I should have felt like this. She did help with in grown and I am grateful. I think I need to make the trip to Macidon location. Nails are pinching but feel like they are put on to stay. We will see. Love my nails. read more

The salon was absolutely filthy. There was old food on the table with all of the color selection samples,...like an actual piece of rib bone with dried up meat attached. The place looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in months. I had a powder dip and my daughter got a gel polish. Mine took an hour and she was super rough, my daughters took 15 minutes and it cost me over $90 for the two of us. After sitting 50 minutes past our appointment time, my friend and got kicked out of Royal Nails and Spa in Seneca Falls after asking them how much longer they would be. Our appointment was at 4pm at 4:50 no one had touched my friends feet yet. By now the water for her pedi is cold. I asked the one lady how much longer it was going to be, we have an appointment after this. She said you didn't tell us you had another appointment (which i did after we waited 20 mins). But this time I said that's not really any of your business, we had an appointment for 4pm if you couldn't accommodate us then you should have told us. Don't treat us like a walk-ins..then say you don't have the availability. The owner (I assumed he was the owner) jumped up and started yelling at us to get out of his place and go away and never come back again. She was standing in front of him like it was her attempt to hold him back from attacking. Carrying on that we were the lowest of low and he didn't want our money and never come back..All while she's standing in front of him telling him to stop. We had already decided 20 minutes after we got there we would never return to that establishment. He refused to give my friend a towel to dry her feet. I have no idea why he was flipping out. His behavior was beyond over the top! Neither of us had raised our voice. I couldn't believe he acted in the manner he did. He acted like a lunatic. I mean what was he gonna do, hit us? This was our "girls" day. It was more special than any other girls day than ones in the past. I was going for perfection but realistically would have been happy for an uneventful experience. Grossly overcharged me for a child pedicure and polish change, as well as an adult mani/pedi. Charged over $100!!!!! When I questioned the price and asked to see a price list, they kept pointing to a child gel mani/pedi on this laminated paper they pulled out, even though no gel was used on her or me. If it wasn't for my 8 year old niece being with me and having her 1st spa experience, I would have blown my top and demanded a price adjustment to the services we actually received. Horrible business! My niece's polish washed off in the shower the very next day!!! read more

This was the most painful experience in getting my nails done. While using the tools he cut 4 different fingers, at one point I jerked back because it hurt so bad he just laughed it off then I had to deal with the pain of rubbing alcohol afterwards. I will not be back. read more

I got a full set3 weeks ago. They started lifting and I needed a full after only a week because they weren't staying. I got a fill less than 10 days ago & my ENTIRE set popped off like they were press ons. I called & they refused to do anything to help me saying they've "been there for 7 years and have never had anything like this happen". I have been going here for almost a year and always seem to get the same lady even though I request someone else. This lady cuts me, so I finally got someone else and was excited, thought I wasn't going to get cut Well.. yup, he cut my cuticles too. They are in such a hurry to get you in and out they don't care. They don't push cuticles back, they just "cut" them back with the tool. And don't bother trying to make an appointment, they don't honor it. First come first serve. Looking for another salon. I had the male technician. My nails are crooked, I asked for longer nails and when I said stop for the length he went closer to my finger and cut them shorter. there are multiple spots in my acrylics where you can see my real nails. My right middle finger nail is slanted at the bottom and doesn't cover my real nail. he never tried to talk to me. my friend and I went together, her nails look great whereas he botched mine. I wish I could post pictures on here so you could see yourselves. I love getting my nails done but this was terrible. the male I had kept getting up and doing other things, the lady that does the designs got up in the middle of my friends design to go wax someone's eyebrows, she never washed her hands before coming back to finish her nails. this place had acrylic powder and pieces of nails on the floor. i will never go back, this place really brought down my confidence in nail salons. read more

Worst nail place I've been to. I called and made an appointment for 3:30, ended up waiting until 4:30 to sit for my pedicure and new acrylics. These are the worst acrylics I have ever gotten. All I asked for was one solid color and short square nails but apparently that was too much to ask for. Every single nail is crooked, wider than my fingers, there's bumps all over them from the acrylic powder and the acrylic is all over my skin. I kept telling the lady there that I wanted them thinner but they were not making them thinner and they just overall are a terrible shape. The nail tip isn't even fully glued on to my natural nail and when I told the lady that, she filed my natural nail down underneath so you couldn't see it anymore. I didn't want to make a scene as so many people had already walked out because they had been waiting over 2 hours for appointments they previously made so I still paid but I am so angry and upset with the entire experience. I went in to get my nails filled. The lady who sits closest to the desk did my nails. This was my first time ever getting one done. My first issue was that she didn't take off my previous color. When she was putting on the liquid powder, she put a huge chunk of it on. Which resulted in thick nails. The paint job was sloppy, and the design was nothing like I asked for. When we finished she didn't give me time to look at them and she had me immediately get up and pay. I left and went home. At first glance they looked okay. I went back the next day to see if we could work something out and she said she could fix one nail but I wanted redone. She was very rude and said she wasn't going to redo them and that because I left meant that "I liked them". I then asked if she could do anything and she told me she would not. I paid $54 for these nails and had to go somewhere else to get them redone. Plus she blamed the other salon for the nails being thick and painted horribly. Terrible customer service. Instead of her getting upset, she could have offered to take them off or a gift certificate. I've never experienced this kind of service from anyone before. Also to mention I had two broken nails and she did take the previous color off those two, but she ripped them off by digging an acrylic nail under it. read more

Although they changed owners and or management the service is still the same. Poor service. I once in a while went to get my nails done and walked intnknsee new faces. I got my nails done and I walked away upset because my nails were thin and the nail polish which was gel was horrible. Well it chipped thenn cat day. I went back like he almost was warning me to do. He did honor the service and pilished again on only chipped again. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back lesson learned they can not do nails and the polish chips. Today I decided well I am certainly not going to get my nails done but how could a wax for my daughter super lip go wrong. Well it did 10 bucks not a bad price but hair still visible I went back in and he said let's do our again I said not it can burn her lip. He laughed and said no let me see. I asked if she could come back tomorrow not the same day I explained the danger of double waxing in one day. He laughed it off. I don't recommend going here they also double dip gross read more

Don't waTwoste your time or money. They only did 2 coats and my nails clearly needed 3. The polish looks terrible. I brought my daughter with me and they said they would pain her nails then completely ignored her. read more
